The food here is pretty good, however, my family and I like to sit outside to avoid getting sick. We've dined outside here three times in the last couple of months with no issue. But when we tried to do the same this past Saturday, we were informed by the hostess that the patio is for 'customers with dogs only'. The wait is terrible. I walked up to the front and waited to be greeted. The lady with the braces and the nose ring was straightening the menus and looked at me and didn't say hello. I stood directly in-front of her and she still did t say hello. The lady at the front was extremely rude. She gave us 2 different wait times. The wait list said 0 minutes nobody ahead of us and did not clear a table. I walked up to see if we could get seated because the app had said nobody was in front of us for over ten minutes. She said "no you'll get a text when the table is ready." I guess that's understandable. However, I took a peak inside and there was a clear table empty. Food was decent but based off the treatment probably will search for another spot. Also, went to the bathroom that had floating turds in the toilet that nobody had addressed. Finally sat down, and waited 15 minutes to get our order! There was a couple who got their order took before ours who sat down 15 minutes after we did. 2 hours to get service! That's crazy. We went out for brunch on our wedding anniversary and we went to a place I had bookmarked on yelp a while back. It's a cool looking restaurant in a shopping center in long beach and I believe it's also dog friendly but you have to sit outside. We walked in and got seated right away. The staff was very friendly and always on point. Our server was Stephanie O and she was very helpful, friendly and had a bubbly personality. We ordered some drinks and then took some time to look over the menu, the menu had much to choose from. You can choose breakfast, burgers, pancakes etc. so there is something here for everyone. After looking over the menu we placed out order. The mango lemonade - sweet and refreshing lemonade with a nice touch of mango. Its a nice twist on a lemonade. 'Sticky Finger' Buffalo Wings - These wings were really good and very saucy. We got the hot flavor and came accompanied by it's two best friends blue cheese and ranch. The 'Original' loaded hash browns - I had this with two eggs over medium on top of bacon, sausage, green onions with jack and cheddar cheese all over a bed of nicely cooked hash browns and toped with a chili aioli. It was very flavorful and everything went well together. When you get a bite make sure you have a little bit of everything on your fork. It makes it that much more enjoyable. I substituted the toast with a buttermilk pancake and paid a little extra for that but well worth it. The pancake was a good size and tasted very good. All it had was a little butter and some syrup. Amazing meal! Pizza - my wife had a 12" Pizza and she split the thing in half. 1/2 was El Pollo Alfredo that had Alfredo sauce, chicken, spinach and cheese. It was very tasty and different. The other 1/2 was a build it your self that my wife did and it was just pepperoni and olives. It was very cheesy and good. What I liked the best was the dough of the pizza. It was a thin crust pizza cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp to it. They were both good choices for pizza. The wait is a bit far fetched. No French toast is worth 2 hours. The food is incredible, just make sure to try during their slower business hours which will be difficult because they're busy most of the time. They were sweet and the guava was delicious. My bf had the stuffed french toast, good as well... tastes like the ones I make as home (so obviously fire lol). We also shared the loaded hash browns, which is another full dish itself instead of ordering separate sides. The loaded has browns we're honestly my favorite of what we ordered! He ordered the bottomless mimosas and I got the Quicksand cocktail and it was good, not too sweet or strong. There is an hour limit for bottomless drinks, and although our server was great, it did take a while to get the mimosas refilled, but I do understand that it was a bit busy for our server (Maya). read more

This was our first time here and probably will be our last. We were seated pretty fast since we joined the wait list, which was great. I ordered their loaded hash browns with toast, and husband ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes. The food took about 45 minutes to come out, mind you there were many available tables. When we received the food, my dish, the loaded hash browns was not even close to hot.. the cheese did not melt whatsoever and it had no green onions, and they never brought out my toast. Also, husband received incorrect pancakes as well. Our server rarely stopped by our table to check up on us, we'd have to wave him to come over to get his attention. For the price we paid for a subpar and cold meal, it wasn't even worth it. Paid $15 for loaded hash browns, for a meal that I can put together at Dennys. All it was just chopping the sausage and bacon, and adding egg on top of the hash browns and sprinkle cheese, with a price tag of $15. It was very underwhelming. So we stand there thinking dude was going to give that broom a break and let us enter? Nope, he kept sweeping that crap up in the air. So we got tired of waiting and went inside and the kid says 2, i said yes, then he tries to dit us in one of off spots, strike 2! After we sat at our table I was just no longer feeling the vib, as why soend our money in a place where first impressions are everything to me? We are fully aware that staffing is limited and many places are short staffed. We checked in at 8:45am when barely anyone was there and we're told 25-30. More than 45 min later we're seated. My issues are not with the food. The short rib Benedict is amazing! Our issues are with the absolutely terrible and lacking service. It took 15min for anyone to come over and greet us and ask for drinks. It also took more than an hour to get our food. If you are short staffed, maybe don't do pick up/take out orders and only cater to the customers that are actually in the restaurant. With two small children who were starving, to arrive before 9 and eat after 10:30 was seriously ridiculous. Management needs to address this issue asap: read more

There was no wait on a Friday evening, which was awesome because this place tends to have a bit of a wait during the weekends. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken and I thought it was delicious. The corn cake paired very well with the chicken and red pepper gravy. I also ordered one cinnamon pancake and oh my, it was very satisfying. The pancake wasn't overly sweet, it was just perfect for my taste buds. Kevin took good care of us while I had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend, he was very attentive and got our food in a timely manner. They offer a variety of food including pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and Mexican food. Everything looked so good on the menu that it took forever for me to decide! Unfortunately, the food was just average. My friends and I shared the Carne asada fries for an appetizer. The fries were good but it's kind of hard to mess that up. I ended up ordering the pastrami breakfast sandwich. It was huge! Loaded with stacks of pastrami, hash brown, and an egg. The sandwich was a little bland with no special flavors or sauce to tie all of the ingredients together. One of my friends had the chicken and waffles... it was also just okay. The pan is my favorite go to for when I'm having a sweet tooth for pancakes they offer different yummy flavor and there tiki drinks are also delish along with great filling breakfast definitely one of my favs. On a weekend breakfast brunch definitely good they offer the yelp check in because it's always busy busy busy so check yourself in early while you make your way to the restaurant parking is always tight there. Delicious! Great food, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere. Tried the Lumberjack (true to its name, plenty of food!) and the raspberry pancakes (sorry...we ate them before thinking of taking pictures). Parking is a struggle- keep an eye out for street spots. No kids menu, but SO many things can be ordered as a side, which is AMAZING. PS- our thoughtful waitress brought out an assortment of fun toys from a secret drawer to keep little man busy, which was a lifesaver. EDIT: Just kidding everyone, there is totally a kids menu.
