They want access to my room during my stay for this? No, wait until I'm checked out.

Pros: rooms are nice, decent sized, very comfortable bed and pillows, clean. Location is very convenient for most sightseeing, like pikes place market, with proximity to the train and monorail. Cons: really no amenities... the free coffee in the morning closes at 7 AM and it's only a Keurig machine so that was disappointing on a few levels. There's really nothing else here... no fitness room, and not even a few board games to play in the lobby. One of the two elevators is broken. This is not the hotel to stay at if you plan on hanging out at the hotel at all but it is a good place to basecamp and get a good nights sleep.

This is a great little hotel in downtown Seattle. The staff was warm and welcoming (even though the weather was not!) and parking is blessedly easy with valet. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was not as strong as I would have liked, but the windows had the ability to open which provided a nice cross breeze. The hotel was quiet, and, with the windows closed, you could not hear the traffic outside. As an added bonus, the hotel is easy walking distance to many restaurants and attractions, and a short ride away from Cap Hill and the waterfront (if you are not inclined to make the trek). Definitely worth checking out!

This was my first stay at this property at the corner of Pine and 8th Avenue. It's not a large hotel, there is a small lobby, a self-service convenience store, and a restaurant / bar in one corner of the ground floor with two names, Spruce Café during the day and Chan Seattle at night. Two elevators serve the 11 floors comprised of 146 rooms and 2 suites. It's a basic hotel, valet parking, no pool but there is a small exercise room and free WiFi. For our purpose, it was perfect. I had a corner room on the 7th floor overlooking Pine towards the water. It was a nice size, with a dresser hiding a coffee maker and ice bucket on the left and a refrigerator on the right. Above the dresser was a wall-mounted TV. To the left of the window was a desk and chair and to its left was an occasional chair. The bathroom is off the right past the entrance, comprising a glass-walled shower with a fixed head, a separate water closet, a small vanity and to its left, a full-sized tub. All in all, a nice bathroom. The only thing missing (for me) was a shower wand. The bar didn't open early and closed early so I ended up buying bottles of Botanist gin and a can of Pelligrino flavored water and having drinks in my room on two afternoons / evenings. The price of the 1.5oz bottles was surprisingly reasonable for a hotel ($7.50ea). Service by the staff was professional and I had no issues (other than limited bar hours) during my stay. For the price, I'd stay here again.

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every part of my stay was comfortable, and their kindness truly stood out. The room was spotless, beautifully arranged, and felt like a peaceful retreat after a long day. Little touches like the cozy bedding, thoughtful amenities, and warm hospitality made it feel more like home than just a place to sleep. The location was perfect, just a short walking distance to Pike Place Market, which made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. There were plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from, giving us endless options for food, coffee, and late-night treats. The ambiance throughout the hotel was inviting and relaxing, and every interaction with the team was met with a smile and sincere care. Whether it was recommendations for nearby spots or quick assistance with anything I needed, they were always attentive and helpful. I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and grateful for such a memorable stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and genuine hospitality.

Beautiful and modern hotel. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Rooms are good sized, clean, and well decorated. Only two elevators so can be a wait when it gets busy. Location of the hotel is in downtown Seattle and about a 10-15 minute walk to Pikes Place Market and about 10 minute walk to StarBucks Reserve. I'd be willing to stay here again when in Seattle.

PRICE DOESN'T MATCH PEACE OF MIND (3.25 Stars) Great hotel. Prime location. BUT damn.. for $246 a night, it's not worth your peace of mind. Need thicker windows because screaming crackheads (the infamous fentanyl zombies of Seattle), my bad, better term "the unhoused" sure comes out at night all over downtown streets is not the business. Neither are annoying cars with their loud exhaust driving by or honking horns. No room service and restaurant/bar are only open certain days and hours - uhm thats unusual for a hotel with a pricy nightly price tag. - CLEANNESS - VERY clean. Nice rooms. - SERVICE: good, very helpful and friendly - COMFORT: king size bed was comfy, pillows were horrible - QUIETNESS - Loud AF Selected this hotel because 1. The Paramount had great reviews everywhere I checked 2. The Hilton (my regular hotel) the one I remember downtown is closed 3. I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt across the street before and liked it but had some minor disturbance issues there and didn't want that same experience 4. This is right next Pacific Place "safer area downtown" and easy access to everything being in the heart of downtown. The further away from 1/2/3rd street the better. I got to check in hours early. My room was ready and given a room in the higher floors - facing Pine. The room was super clean, I even tested by wiping down areas of my own for any dirt and there was none. Upon arrival I saw a connecting door in my room - hence, the door to another hotel room. It has a lock and all but that means "paper thin walls". Most of the afternoon and evening, this place was peaceful and quiet. Then that all changes after 9:30p. All the fentanyl zombies coming out screaming or talking. I could hear the hotel neighbor that shares the connecting door unzipping their luggage, opening the shelves, etc. - luckily they seem like quiet people. But still, if you can hear them ruffling around the room - that connecting double door doesn't block noise. Cars with loud exhaust speeding by. Random cars honking. Kind of can hear some construction from the distance. It was annoying. Best way to drown it all out was to turn on the bedroom fan/ac to make it like white noise which helped, a lot. Bed was comfy but a little stuff. Pillows were awful. They are down feather but a beat up worn out down feather. Your head sinks in quickly and the pillows go super flat even using 4 pillows. Tried to use as many to get the lift but it didn't help. By 7:00AM the downtown morning starts with buses and truck noises and occasional honking. Prime location might also not be so prime. If you are a sensitive sleeper looking for a goodnights sleep, this place may not be for you. It was a good hotel but still noisy even if on the higher floors. And for that price, you'd think better would be served. Nice hotel but don't think I'll stay here again for $246 a night - maybe for less than $130. Until the next review...

Does this hotel offer shuttle service to airport and cruise port?

If I remember correctly they do not offer airport shuttle service. They are a small boutique hotel. I would not let that keep you from enjoying a great hotel...

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

It was about 3:15 pm. He had to check with housekeeping to see if the room was ready. No joke.....almost 45 minutes went by and housekeeping had not replied. He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. The lack of the little niceties that are standard everywhere else aren't here. The least they could have done was provide quality customer service and not by someone who seems like they would be better off employed in a funeral home. There were some minor issues with the hotel charges, but staff was quick to help us sort it out during check-out. The check-in was a bit inconsistent though, as another group in our party got free vouchers to Smith Tower, but our room did not. They are now under Hyatt group, so if you have loyalty status with Hyatt, make sure to let them know during check-in. The room itself was nice and spacious. Bed and bedding was comfortable although the pillows were very flat. The bathroom had a huge window but there was an automated privacy shade. The bathroom also had plenty of counter space, with a separate shower from the huge soaking tub. The tub design was a bit weird in that the water comes out of the ceiling... so just be prepared that it does splash all over. Our room did not have a view (we got an east-facing room which literally is a view of another building's windows), but it did keep the room cool. Location was nice and walkable to all nearby Seattle attractions, very easy to get to Pike Place and Westlake Station. The hotel has a spa and small gym on the basement level, plus a golf simulator (that we did not try). The Rosebay bar was very pleasant (we got drinks and a snack) and the bartender was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast at All Water was disappointing though - both the service and food were mediocre for the price they charge - and we wouldn't recommend it. Nonetheless, the hotel stay itself was pleasant and I would recommend the hotel itself, location was excellent. Staff was friendly and I would come back to stay here again when visiting Seattle.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. This hotel is an excellent choice for those wanting to stay in a waterfront property that's walkable to the cruise terminal as well. Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
