I had a mystery illness with my cat Beef who kept hiding his symptoms. Dr Joyner and her team helped us to finally figure it out, work with us, and treated my family and my baby with the most respect possible. We found out his issues were much larger than what we thought, we ended up having to opt to put him down which broke my heart but Dr Joyner was with us the entire process, i wish i could actually express how grateful i am. They made a heartbreaking situation more tolerable. Clean, kind, and professional.

My 9-year old soul dog, Copper, is diabetic and got really, really sick seemingly out of nowhere this past Saturday. I took him immediately to Parc Emergency Vet, where he was diagnosed with acute HDS...I was so scared and brokenhearted at the thought that I may have to put him down because he seemed like the kind of sick that would leave me with no other choice, but they healed and tended to my fur baby all weekend and even let me come visit him in his kennel for over an hour, which really helped both of us calm our nerves! They took good care of both of us in the end, and I can't properly put into words how much I appreciate all of their kindness and compassion. It means the world to me, so thank you, thank you, thank you to the wonderful vets and vet techs at Parc Emergency Vet Clinic!!! You saved my fur son and soul dog, who is back to his loving, sweet self, and minimized my stress and anxiety in the process!!! If I could give them a hundred stars, I would!

Worst place to take your dog during an emergency. They will overcharge you and not even do what's needed. They made my dog get worse!

By the third visit, Dr. Podriza--who is probably one of the kindest people on the planet--took the time to really look closely at the X-rays and noticed something that needed more attention. We originally thought it might have just been something minor from a nail trim, but our baby ended up needing to stay overnight. The next morning, Dr. Biquet came in, did additional X-rays, and figured out exactly what was going on. You should have seen her face when she solved it--it was such a moment of relief. It was truly their teamwork, attention to detail, and how much they genuinely care that made all the difference. I really feel like they saved my dog, and I'm so grateful. As someone who works here, I already knew how talented and compassionate this team is--but having my own dog become the patient gave me an entirely new perspective and an even deeper appreciation for the incredible people I am fortunate enough to work alongside. My 11-year-old dog was found to have multiple large masses during his examination and ultrasound, and we knew surgery was going to be necessary. He has already fought through diabetes for the past two years and has been doing remarkably well, so naturally, the thought of another major surgery was incredibly frightening. Dr. Christiansen, our oncologist, took the time to walk me through the possibilities and help me understand what our options might be depending on what the masses ultimately showed on histopathplogy and during surgery. Her knowledge, compassion, and willingness to explain everything gave me confidence during a very uncertain and emotional time. Dr. Thompson was the surgeon who performed his surgery, and I will forever be grateful to her. She gave me strength and reassurance when I needed it most. In surgery I was able to assist with my own dog's procedure. Watching her skillfully and carefully perform his surgery was an experience I will never forget. The outcome was extremely positive, and I am so thankful that my best little friend has the opportunity to continue being part of our family for many more years. I also want to recognize Allyson and Haven, the surgery technicians, for the incredible care and kindness they showed him throughout the entire process. Every single person treated him with the same tenderness, compassion, patience, and empathy they would give to any beloved family pet. Even though I am an employee, they never made me feel like he was being treated differently because he was "one of our own." He was simply treated as a cherished patient--and that meant everything to me. The timing made everything even more difficult. We discovered the masses just 48 hours before I was scheduled to leave the country for a veterinary conference in Croatia. Rather than rushing into decisions, Dr. Thompson, Dr. Christiansen, Allyson, Haven, and the team helped develop a conservative and thoughtful plan that allowed me to travel while knowing we could move forward with surgery when I returned. While I was abroad, they even checked in with me and kept me updated, which provided so much comfort while I was thousands of miles away. Now that I am back home in Texas and seeing my dog doing so well, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to Dr. Thompson, Dr. Christiansen, Allyson, Haven, and everyone at Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists of Mansfield for taking care of my boy, for taking care of me, and for giving us more precious time together. Your expertise is extraordinary, but it is your compassion, kindness, empathy, and genuine love for your patients that I will remember most. I am incredibly grateful to be able to call this team my colleagues--and even more grateful that they took care of my best friend when he needed them most. Five stars doesn't feel like enough.

Unfortunately, there is not an option for 0 stars!…read more I brought my dog to this clinic because his neck had become severely swollen and infected overnight. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed convinced it was cancer simply because he had a history of cancer as a puppy. Without pursuing other likely causes, I was told there was essentially nothing they could do. Even the oncologist on site agreed with that assessment. I asked if it could possibly be something else, such as a bite or infection, because that's what it looked like to me. That possibility was dismissed. I was told surgery was an option but not guaranteed and would have to be done by a different doctor and would cost thousands of dollars. They also told me his blood work suggested kidney failure and implied he only had about six months to live regardless. The impression I left with was that my options were to keep him comfortable until the end or consider euthanasia. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and sought a second opinion with Alvarado Animal Clinic. They immediately believed it looked like a bite or abscess. They drained it, put in a drain tube and packed the wound, and within a month it had completely healed. They also found no evidence that my dog was in kidney failure. Today he is healthy, happy, and doing great. I understand that medicine isn't always black and white, but I was disappointed that such serious conclusions were reached without fully exploring other, treatable possibilities. If I had accepted the original diagnosis without seeking another opinion, the outcome for my dog could have been heartbreaking. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. I strongly encourage anyone facing a serious diagnosis to seek a second opinion before making life-changing decisions.
