    Mixed berry mojito

We've been coming to the Village Casino for years during our annual Chautauqua family vacations, and make sure to visit at least once. I've been to wing nights, live music, and even participated in the Guinness World Record held here. Tonight was a sunny Friday, we were helped within a minute of arriving and seated where we wanted outside by the docks. I ordered a berry mojito with Beef on Weck and tater tots. Everyone in the group was satisfied with their order and enjoyed watching the boats come in and out. Our server was also very kind and attentive without being overbearing.

Mostly disappointed in the kids food. Paid $11 for the kids tenders... not worth the amount given

This place is worth it just for the video from the back deck, you're pretty much right on the lake and we spent lunch just watching boats go bye. Our waitress was amazing, super attentive- I asked if they had gluten free buns and she supplied me with an entire gluten free menu!! The food was good and not over priced, I know a lot of places like this you pay for the view more than the food, but not this place!

We came by for a drink. The view on the deck is beautiful, you are right out on the lake. The view itself was 5 stars. During covid we had to order food for the table. There were not any easy to order options for just grabbing a drink under covid rules. And the food didn't look good enough that you would want to stay for a meal. We ended up ordering the chicken lips. I am still not sure why they were called this. They looked like random scraps of fried chicken, it was not obvious what part of the animal they came from. The service was just ok. For the price they are charging I'd suggest trying another place in town with better food.

Good food, good drinks, great service from Jason! Next trip back this way we will be back. Hopefully we will have Jason as our server again!

Beautiful view overlooking Chautauqua Lake. The food was ok and a bit pricey for portion sizes. We had a new waiter and he did his best. Started out with spinach and artichoke dip and it was good. I had fish fry for dinner and it was good but definitely not worth the $17. Homemade tarter sauce was good. My daughter had burger and it was $16 and nothing special.

Steak Quesadilla with optional tatie tots. My friend Phyllis said, "Best Value in Bemus."

My friend Phyllis says it's the best value in Bemus Pt. Everyone is nice and friendly. On the lake.

Beautiful view of the lake and boats going by if you're on the outdoor seating area. Large indoor area with stage for live music. Ice cream area attached to the restaurant by the entrance. I ordered the fried cauliflower which was new on the menu and it was dipped in buffalo sauce. Very filling and good portions came out hot! Taco salad was huge. Hubby's beef on weck was tasty. Server was attentive. Clean restaurant.

Michelle was the best waitress I've ever had and would 1000% come back. Sitting outside on a nice day can't be beat!

Great for kids because of the playground and the arcade. Food is mediocre at best Would not recommend unless you want to keep kids busy.

Tourist food at tourist prices. A tiny glass of inexpensive wine $9.00. Just not worth it.

One thing I've noted is that great restaurants are not particularly numerous, but they do exist. Being a performer and presenter with the Capitol Steps for 24 years, I traveled all around the country and appeared in almost every major (and minor) city more than once. And so, having eaten out on a regular basis literally all over the map, I am confident you can't go wrong if you give Splash a whirl. The food is always delicious, the wine is amazingly high-level, and the venue design, staff, and owners are top-notch. My wife and I particularly love the scallops, the shrimp shooters, and the meatball/sausage combination. And once you try the flourless chocolate cake, it's hard to go back to any other. Adding to that, I particularly love the retro design of the place with lots of big-band music, and even old classic shows on the television. Very cool. I highly recommend and hope that everyone gets a chance to patronize this wonderful, local establishment.

We were the only people in the restaurant on a weekday in the late afternoon, which was odd, but in this case it led to incredibly personalized and attentive service. The food was delicious -- nothing that blew us away with originality, but well executed tapas that are easy to recommend. The wine choices were pretty solid as well. Given the chance, I'd like to return for dinner when there's a live music with the piano that seems to be the focal point of the room! There doesn't appear to be a multitude of higher-end restaurants in the local area, but this definitely falls into that "nicer" category.

Additionally, the beautiful, historic Atheneum porch provides lakeside ambience that is nothing short of perfect on a warm summer day. The food was ok. We had a charcuterie tray, bisque, and a salad, and while nothing was bad, it did seem to be somewhat bland. Wine choices were also adequate. The service left a lot to be desired in terms of speed and quality. Our server was polite, but they were slow to greet and offer drinks, and even slower to return to check-up on our needs. I got the distinct impression that the servers were college students there to earn money for the summer -- professionalism seemed lacking. Think of the Kellerman's Hotel waitstaff in the movie Dirty Dancing, and you'll understand. Still worth it for the view and the history!

Weather-permitting, ask to eat outside on the Porch to take in the great view of the lake and the lawn. So why only a 3-star rating? It's because of the food. The menu selection was good, but the preparation and taste of the dishes are uninspired and mediocre at best. For the price, the value isn't there. Even though the brunch buffet is plentiful, the quality is no better than what you'd find for free at the Residence Inn. Go for the Porch experience. Just keep your food expectations in check.
