I think people are a little harsh on Yelp sometimes. So here it is,a one and a two are really bad, a 3 is not very good but four is expected, thats why I give it a four . I thought it was good and it is exactly what I had expected for what they projected, and think that is the key. The service was pleasant, fast and it was clean. Get that it was Saturday and was a busy day, but our dining experience from start to finish took 2 1/2 hours. We sat on the deck which is overdue for a good power washing, bird poop and feathers all over. I could overlook everything else if food was great, but it was not. Mid at best. The view of Chautauqua lake is great but the food is mediocre. I had the apple pecan salad. The presentation was not appetizing. Greens thrown on a plate with 2 slices of apple and ground up pecans under the lettuce. The dressing was thin and vinegary. I do not recommend. Love the atmosphere though. read more

They had windows and doors open with no ac. We were sweating while we ate inside trying to avoid the heat. Very nice staff. It wasn't busy at all. I was skeptical with the reviews but 9 of us went yesterday. My nephew has severe food allergies. They were very accommodating and the waitress said they take food allergies serious. She explained how his food wood be cooked and would not come in any contact with dairy or nuts. I ordered this half fish fry and a side salad. The side salad was pretty big and good. The fish was nice and crispy outside. The tater tots were perfectly fried. We were all pleasantly happy with its our experience. read more

Appetizer/Sharable was a Big Fail. We ordered the Philly Nachos for $20.99 and were shocked by what we received. The menu listed it as..."Tortilla Chips smothered with a five cheese sauce, shredded steak, green peppers, and onions." What we received was a small pile of tortilla chips, some globs of pale orange sauce, what appeared to be a small flat grilled burger broken into pieces, smothered in "raw" dice green peppers and onions. I should have taken a photo. It is Bemus Point so we don't mind paying a little extra but this was Hilarious! We were asked what we thought because this was a new menu item this year. I politely explained our disappointment to our wonderful waitress. We were asked again by the manager what we thought about this item. I explained again, anyone who has had Philly Nachos anywhere else would expect the peppers onions to be cooked/grilled and blended with the shredded steak and cheese. Google it. Clearly the chef had done little research. The manager tried to explain the shredded steak looked like a broken up burger because they cook didn't thaw it out enough before grilling. They took it off our bill, even though I insisted they shouldn't. I told them we planned to suffer through it because we were hungry, and were not going to order another surprise. On the plus side, the ambience was great out on the deck by the lake. The beers were refreshingly cold. Too bad our food was weird. We tipped our waitress very, very well. I hope they fix or 86 the Philly Nachos for everyone else's sake. We won't be eating here again. Drinks only. read more

We've been coming to the Village Casino for years during our annual Chautauqua family vacations, and make sure to visit at least once. I've been to wing nights, live music, and even participated in the Guinness World Record held here. Tonight was a sunny Friday, we were helped within a minute of arriving and seated where we wanted outside by the docks. I ordered a berry mojito with Beef on Weck and tater tots. Everyone in the group was satisfied with their order and enjoyed watching the boats come in and out. Our server was also very kind and attentive without being overbearing. read more

We had our wedding here and the food is amazing along with the staff. The view from the lake is amazing.

We came by for a drink. The view on the deck is beautiful, you are right out on the lake. The view itself was 5 stars. During covid we had to order food for the table. There were not any easy to order options for just grabbing a drink under covid rules. And the food didn't look good enough that you would want to stay for a meal. We ended up ordering the chicken lips. I am still not sure why they were called this. They looked like random scraps of fried chicken, it was not obvious what part of the animal they came from. The service was just ok. For the price they are charging I'd suggest trying another place in town with better food. read more

I had a bunch of family here that wanted good wings. So we went to The Casino and the hostess tried to sit us at a table that smelled like dead fish from outside by the bank. Then we waited forever for our waitress to come to our table. She was not friendly at all. We ordered a whole bunch of wings. It was clear they sat it the kitchen for quite some time before they were delivered. They were very dry on the top and very saturated on the bottom. The bottoms were white from sitting so long. We had six different flavors and they were served on the same plate so it was awful because the wings didnt taste like they should have. read more

The staff initially ignored reservations we made for 13 people the previous day, and after verbally jousting with two unfriendly "hostesses" they tried to seat us at a foul-smelling outdoor table. Overall, the outdoor deck and tables looked pretty scurvy. We used to eat here often years ago but the service, food and prices have definitely deteriorated badly over the years. We wouldn't recommend bringing a large group to this place. Anyway, we took our children and grandchildren to another eatery in the village which was very nice. read more

The Casino is really a great place to stop by either by boat or by land and offers a great view, right on the water, of Lake Chautauqua facing Stow from the Bemus side. Though they serve rather good burgers, sandwiches, cones and have a decent bar, for me it is their chicken wings, Buffalo style, of course. You can get them mild, medium, hot or suicide but anyway you order them they are done in true Buffalo style perfection served with celery to dip in a blue cheese dressing. read more

Great location, decent staff, greedy pricing... typical tourist trap. If you go mid afternoon to early evening you can enjoy your night, food, and views of Chautauqua Lake. If you go after 8 pm (especially on the weekend) you can sort of enjoy your food while watching 40+ year old men from out of the area hit on female townies under the age of 25. The Casino has been a staple in Bemus Point for a long time, most notably for their music in the weekends and ease of access for boaters. While they are "known for their wings" to me the are "known for the 8-wing single order". Most places a single order is 10 or 12. The Casino fetches $3 more for less wings. The Casino is tied to Wing City in Fredonia and Lakewood, NY. I'd like to see a little more attention given to cleaning the spider webs, dead bugs, and bird poop off the outdoor seat areas. read more

We have been coming to the lake for over 40 years and the casino was our chicken wing destination. They had a magical buffalo hot sauce recipe that I would crave year round until I returned. Last summer it was great with plump wings cooked to perfection and a unique flavor with just the right amount of heat. Sadly, this year we have been really disappointed. Tastes like frozen wings - chewy meat and soggy skin. We even asked for ours to be crispy. Someone in the kitchen (or management) doesn't seem to care. Please get your act together or I will shed a tear each summer as I drive past the casino to get better wings elsewhere. read more

Unless you're willing to wait hours for a table & food/drinks, do NOT go to the Casino on a Monday in the summer. They had karaoke night & not enough staff in the kitchen and waiting tables. We decided to do take out, but when we went up to order......They stopped taking Take Out orders for 45-60 min at 8 pm! Insanity.... The Casino used to be a great place to eat, drink & have fun w friends, but it was beyond frustrating. The wait staff was overwhelmed, but were trying their best. This was probably one of my mist frustrating dinners. In addition to the food brought to our table was either not prepared as we ordered or it was not what was ordered. The "manager" was not helpful. Apparently, we should accept what ever food is brought to our table no matter if the food is what we ordered. The service was slow. Wait staff was socializing a lot. We tried to get their attention and we were only successful when I walked up to the wait staff and asked for a drink refill. I was given attitude by the wait staff and manager for disturbing their conversation! Instead of paying for a good meal with the food that we ordered and good service; we paid full price for food that we did not order, burned food, and food that was not prepared as requested. In addition, we paid for attitude! And it was not any form of positive attitude. Our meal extended into the time there was a band playing. In addition to our $200 dinner, we were asked and paid a cover charge to eat our dinner while the band was playing music. If we did not have to wait over an hour for our food, our meal would not have extended into to music cover charge time. Remember, we also had to beg for drinks. This was a family reunion. They all traveled over 300 miles. This was our first dinner together in a couple years. We were hoping to have a great meal together in Bemus Point on Chautauqua Lake. Instead; no one received their food cooked as requested or what they ordered, every one was treated with negative attitudes, and we each paid a cover charge to listen to music because our service was slower than any meal I ever experienced. read more

If you're looking for a place where the locals go (or at least the seasonal locals), this could be it. Drive your boat up to the dock and walk right up to the hostess stand. Outdoor seating is best; right over Chautauqua Lake. The menu has a good variety but this place is known for their wings. There are about 8 sauces to choose from. Fries are slightly battered and tasty. Tater tots are good too. Last visit was on a Tuesday night. Not super busy but service was spotty and it took way too long to get the food.
