While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

They have a zip line which is really cool! It's the first park i've been with a zip line. I honestly didn't know much about this tragedy beforehand, but I'm really grateful that this garden exists--to build awareness, offer a place for reflection and healing, and serve as a meaningful memorial honoring all the innocent lives lost. You can really feel how much care and intention went into creating this. Each life lost is honored with a tree and a small tribute area, and it appears that loved ones wrote personal messages for each individual. It was incredibly moving. Walking through the garden made us pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the time we have here on earth. It was especially heartbreaking to see how young some of the victims were--some only around 20 years old, with their whole lives ahead of them. I appreciated that you're able to walk through the space at your own pace, almost meditatively, reading about each person and seeing their photos. Each memorial area had its own unique style, reflecting the individuality of the person it honors. You can learn their age, where they were from, and a little about who they were. Overall, this is a powerful, peaceful, and beautifully done memorial. If you're in the area, I highly recommend taking the time to visit--it's a quiet reminder of loss, resilience, and the importance of compassion and remembrance.
