I wanted to make some beer brats with a higher quality, homemade with organic ingredients. And the butcher shop at Peach Stand has those I was looking for. Their butcher shop was beyond cool.. lots of selections. And they're busy.. The peach Stand also have a ice cream parlor in one corner, a cafe is another area. Fresh pies and breads made fresh daily.. You can get fresh items, and pump your gas at SC gas prices which is cheaper from NC by .05 to .10$. Isn't that a win win. We love this little local spot! We've visited for breakfast and lunch and haven't been disappointed. The home fries and bacon are amazing at breakfast, and I love the club sandwich at lunch. In addition to the great food, they have a fully stocked butcher counter, fresh produce, and a delicious bakery. We haven't been disappointed in anything we've tried from fresh strawberries to peaches to the homemade pies in the bakery. It's also a good spot for easy hostess gifts--olive oils, delicious spreads, etc. We'll continue visiting for sure! read more

We finally found Raw Milk in The Peach Stand, that we have been searching forever. So glad we live close by this place and the raw milk available here really smells fresh and tastes darn good. Our coffee is tasting so much better now. Also bought some local made honey and peach preserves. Haven't tried it yet but I hope it's good. Lots of stuff like ice creams, vegetables, groceries, meats, wine, souvenirs, food court, etc are available. It's like a one stop shop for most items. Checked out the barbecue sauce that had the peach stand label and found them to have a not so healthy ingredient list especially high fructose corn syrup. Will definitely go back for the raw milk. Man this spot is great. Has almost everything you need. When I stop here its normally for a snack or soda, simple stuff. But I always end up leaving with more, and things I didnt know I needed, LOL. Today I went in for a soda, and came out with extras like organic honey and fried pickle mix. They have a butcher shop in there too with what looks like a great meat selection. A bakery also, with some great looking fudge. I do want to get some meats from here at some point, but I dont live in the area. I have a great butcher closer and I dont usually grocery shop that far away, but I will do it one day soon. Oh, I almost forgot that they have some awesome selections of fruit and veggies. I can't tell you how many times we've drive by here and kept saying, "we really should stop by there and see what that place is about." One day we finally did and we were amazed and what we found. As the name suggested, there were peaches everywhere ready to go. I forget how they're sold though - by the peck? I won't pretend like I know, but they're already placed in different sized baskets throughout the store. The Peach Stand had groceries inside, a meat market in the back, a restaurant (open until 2pm, I think) on the other side, a bakery in front of the restaurant and even an area that was like a little ice cream parlor! Of course there was peach flavored ice cream! They offered their own salad dressings and they had a station of boiled peanuts and the aroma was amazing! There were rows and rows of spices for cooking and even pre-packaged bags of different things to make like shrimp and grits - shrimp was to be purchased separately, but not to worry! They offered bags of precooked frozen shrimp or freshly caught frozen shrimp and then also fresh shrimp in the previously mentioned meat market. Surprising good selection of really good pastries.

We wanted to see and eat somewhere different during our stay in Charlotte. Our wonderful daughter-in-law suggested this place across the state line in South Caroline. It's a great, little place that has everything...gas, restaurant, small market items, fresh fruit, butcher shop, bakery, and ice cream. Our sandwiches were made to order and delicious. I really liked the applewood bacon on my BLT. On the small store side, I purchased peaches, preserves, salsa, fresh baked cookies and fudge. Definitely, coming back here again. I love, love this place. It is an all-in-one. It's a grocery store, a fruit and vegetable stand, a bakery, a butcher shop, an ice cream shop, and a restaurant ! I've been coming here for years to get high-quality ground beef for my meatloaf. I also love to get their cheddar cheese jalapeno brats for the grill. They have unusual items like duck bacon, bison, rabbit, ox tail, and goose in their frozen section. Love to get strawberries and peaches here when they are in season. Well, today I tried their restaurant for breakfast for the first time. I didn't even know it was back there ! There's a nicely decorated sitting area. I got the hashbrown bowl to go with hash browns, egg, cheese, and bacon. YUM! It was really tasty and only $5. The bacon was cooked PERFECTLY and there was a lot of it. The hash browns were really fried potatoes. I noticed the lunch special was going to be chuck roast with 2 sides for $8. Considering that's what I paid yesterday at McDonald's for a sandwich combo meal, this is a great deal for real food ! The whole bowl was really good. This place is fantastic!! They have everything from local produce, wine, meats, bread and even a place to eat!! The service has always been fantastic as well. You can definitely tell that most of the items come from local spots as they are always changing as well as rotating (especially due to the seasons). I used to live a lot closer to here and would frequent a lot more often, however I still come by this way every so often, and I always make sure to stop here! The produce is fantastic as well as the breads. The wine selection is ok as well. I have never eaten at their restaurant here, however I have only heard good things. I do get my meats and fish at a different spot, but just because of the distance to my house plus I'm usually out running errands (and we do have a very solid place for meats by us as well, but I used to get them here and they are very good as well!). This place is no ordinary gas station!! Holy wow! Add to the list bakery, restaurant/deli, fresh meats (gorgeous ribeyes) and seafood, fresh vegetables/produce, fresh peaches (of course), frozen items, jams and jellies and gourmet food items. Out putzing around in SC, and we ran into this gas station... The real story is that my friend was looking for scratch off tickets. Unfortunately the Peach Stand is a gas station, but also a mini general store/bakery/meat shop. And NO they do not sell lottery tickets here.... which is strange since they sell just about everything else under the sun here. The staff was super nice and apologized for not having lottery tickets, but still friendly in helping my friend pick out an oatmeal cream pie (made there at the Peach Stand). There were a ton of other baked treats too: fudge, pies, cookies... it was a little surreal to see all those items baked there. We walked around the corner and found a meat counter... full on steaks, fish cuts, seafood, pre-made sausages... the meat guy was busy helping a customer, but everything looked pretty legit and the entire place was super clean so that's a good sign. I wouldn't mention to your guests at your cookout that you got your meat at a gas station though. Around the other corner a small produce section with fresh fruits and veggies. Really a gas station of a different color! (sorry bad wizard of oz reference). Probably the best thing at the Peach Stand is this giant peach you can totally play tourist at and take pictures with. We got honked at by a large pick-up truck while we were having fun with the sign..... It's a giant peach with a face on both sides! CRAZY. read more

Consistently in a weekly basis the staff are not wearing masks or it's down under their chins. What's the point??? I don't want to eat food prepared by people not following the rules. My husband and I ate breakfast there a couple of weeks ago. I had read several reviews with glowing remarks and was excited to try a new place. We both ordered breakfast sandwiches and the toast was burnt on both sandwiches. The sandwiches were served in plastic take out containers even though we were eating there. Love love love The Peach Stand!! I've been visiting this place since I've lived in Charlotte. Wayback when I lived in Ballantyne and would go to Anne Springs Close Greenway for a hike. The workers are always helpful and friendly. The deli has great chicken salad and potato salad. They do have some different breads and sauces here. The bakery is top notch for pie or cookies. Also, make sure to visit the ice cream shop too for a cone or shake! read more

The last time I stopped in, they had a good selection of baked items (including apple, peach, and blueberry fritters) that were sourced from bakeries in SC & GA. I like the wide variety of preserves, spices and dressings. The only downside with this little place is the price-point. They are a little pricey when compared to farmer's markets and other locally owned shops that sell these types of items. read more

Great selections of jams and jellies. Been going here for 5 years never an issue till today. I went to exchange a jam because the seal was broken. I was told that they don't have to seal!!?! She said it was good because there wasn't any mold on it‍ Well I've canned many jellies and jams in my life to know you have to have a seal! Not sure who she was trying to convince-not me. This place is really cool initially and carries a wide range of items. Some that you may not find elsewhere. We decided to try something from the butcher shop for dinner. We got Sea bass as they looked really good. At $29.99/LB, it's already priced at a premium. But here's the problem, they weighed the sea bass at 1.06 pounds - just over 16 ounces. These were individually wrapped portions. But when I got home and weighed them, it was only 14.14. That's $5 overcharged for the food. 13% difference in weight. Won't be getting anything else from the butcher shop or frozen prices per pound. read more

This place has been on my list for a while now, but the reason that we finally went was the spicy picked brussels sprouts. We went to brunch at a friend's place and she made amazing Bloody Mary's and garnished them with spicy pickled brussels sprouts. I will admit I was a bit dubious but once I tried one I wanted to share them with my whole family. So when we were on our way back from adventures in Rock Hill we stopped off at the Peach Stand. Considering we went on a Sunday in November the options weren't as plentiful as they may have been at other times in the year but we found enough interesting grocery items to purchase. I love that they have so many of my local favorites in stock! Puckerbutt, Cannizzaro Familglia and of course their own Peach Stand brand. There was a full isle of pickled items to choose from but for now I only picked up the brussels sprouts to take home on my next trip. We also purchased some fresh spinach and scallops for dinner that night. I was a little shocked by the price of the scallops but I will say they cooked beautifully and were huge! I hate when you purchase scallops from the grocery store and suddenly you have half scallops and completely inconsistent sizes on the rest. The Peach Stand did have wonderful uniformity to the scallops. We will definitely return when more things are in season and try more items from the butcher! read more

If you want a great pastrami in the Charlotte area, this is where you go! (Since Rooney's Market closed down ) The only thing is the weird hours :( Their homemade chips are too die for! Went out of my way to visit the Peach Stand Thursday to buy what I thought would be the best quality fresh peaches for a holiday cobbler. I paid $12 for a 1/2 peck. It contained 10 peaches. This morning when I went to make my cobbler, one of the 10, of course hidden on the bottom, was completely rotten. So that means 10% of my purchase was thrown directly in the trash. Not impressed! I will stick to buying 'local' in the grocery store, for less money, and I can pick my own. I have a 2 instead of 1 star because the remaining 9 peaches were fine. Not great just fine. read more
