Inside view of fresh vegetable display

We visited the Peach stand a few years ago and just recently visited again. It has really expanded into a store with a restaurant, a butcher shop, cheese and salad counter and baked goods section. One can find fresh fruit and vegetables, canned goods, a tremendous amount of bottled sauce and condiments, spices, bagged chips and snacks, and frozen prepared foods. Everything is beautifully displayed and ,neat and products well organized but everything very pricey in my opinion.

Delicious godfather sandwich, great bread and tomatoes on all. Quick counter service, good indoor seating. Part of a larger farm stand type place. Ambiance nice.

Paid $45 for this 4 rib plate of beef Dino ribs. Excellent quality for the price. Have ordered Dino ribs from multiple other online sources and they range $90-150 for very similar quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

    BLT

First time here. Service was great, food came out fast, employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered a BLT. Bread was tasty and toasted well, lettuce & tomato were fresh. The only downside was the bacon. The sandwich was huge, but it only had a few broken pieces of bacon on it. I paid $6.99. I know restaurants are cutting back on ingredients to save money, times are tough, I get it. I just feel like I spent $7 for lettuce & tomato.

    Chicken salad sandwich

I really wanted to like this place and support a small local business. I first went for lunch when they opened and was underwhelmed. Now 6-9 months later, I decided to go back. Ordered a chicken salad sandwich which cost $8.99. Maybe with the term "deli" my expectations are too high but when I order lunch it would be nice to actually make it a meal to include a small handful of chips, slaw or pasta salad or a pickle maybe? Or maybe offer the option of sandwich versus"meal". .Staff was friendly. Service was slow. Food was average.

Onion rings, fit only for the trash..

Every corner seems to open into another stretch of South Asian staples and comforts, the sort of selection that makes you realize how limited most other grocery stores really are. You get the big bags of rice stacked with that quiet confidence that comes from high turnover, the boxes and boxes of spices that hit you with that warm, earthy scent the moment you walk past, and a produce section that feels genuinely fresh rather than obligatory. The cut‑to‑order halal butcher is one of those rare touches that tells you they're serving a real community, not just filling space, and the frozen aisle runs long enough that you can lose a few minutes just scanning through all the breads, snacks, and ready‑to‑cook meals. It's one of those stores where you keep thinking you've reached the end of the offerings only to find another shelf of sauces or lentils or sweets waiting for you, and by the time you leave you realize they really do have simply everything. You can buy rubs, marinades, salads, sides, bread, rolls, desserts, etc. They also have frozen wild game if that is what you are into. It was unfortunate that half their store did not have power as we were not able to see any of the meat or fish on display. iI was ok we were not able to hand select our steaks or fish - the store has such a great reputation we were not too worried about what we would end up with. We decided to order 4 prime marinated NY strip and 2 tuna steaks. They make theur own naribade so we had to try it. We also wanted to try one of frozen pre-made meals so we chose the sausage and pasta with vodka sauce. While in line to checkout we saw more than a few people with trays of cinnamon buns so we had to try them as well. This is a summery of our purchased food:. The cinnamon rolls were grainy. Not smooth. I think they were old (I had to pull them from the back). The steaks had a great flavor as the marinade was really good. Three of the 4 steaks were over cooked because we were given 4 different sized steaks. 2 got burnt the third was well done....$60 wasted. The tuna was good but again they gave us one large steak and one thinner one so the smaller was was dry....another $15 wasted. If I can make any suggestion....do not make a purchase without seeing what you are buying. $136.00 later I can say I was disappointed because of the unevenness it was cooked improperly. 4 stars because the cook is partially to blame. 3 stars otherwise. The sales person is the first person that should know better than to sell meat and fish the way they did. Ruined my Christmas meal. Only 1 of us ate. :(

My service and quality of food have not been great both times. I've noticed they're extremely friendly with greeting guests in and out. However, I've never experienced that. Much like the first experience my food (specifically wings) came out over cooked. Joseph the bar tender was awesome enough to observe that and immediately acknowledged more would be coming out. The kitchen sent out 3 wings to replace the entirety burnt first batch. I sent the remainder of the first batch back, and sadly had to wait for it to be a to go order. As I was leaving, someone who appeared to be in management sure enough, greeted the women in front of me, but stared at me as I walked out. I awkwardly said to him "have a great day" with the same enthusiasm he said to the women in front me. I work nearby and this place is close to my office. Was excited because it's right across the street from my go to car wash. Sadly won't return. Lastly for what it's worth, it takes a lot for me to right a review like this, especially for a local shop that's right in my community.

OK, I'll just say we had "da** fine" meals. Fresh, seasonal ingredients combined in some unique and surprising ways, beautifully prepared and so, so delicious. Just look at the photos of a selection of our dishes. This was well worth an update of my earlier review. First, Speckled Pear has removed the community seating and the prepared food, bakery and produce counters from my earlier visits and replaced them with true "restaurant" tables. The focus is now squarely on dining, with lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch service. And oh, there's still a wine bar and bottles are still available for purchase. In my humble view a significant positive step. Our servers were excellent, including helpfully explaining some of the wine options (my wife and sister-in-law ordered a flight). Still a fairly casual environment. Great acoustics- I hate echo chambers. We sat close to other guests but were able to easily talk among ourselves without hearing any extraneous neighbor conversations. Dare I say, Speckled Pear is now a {insert tire company name} star-quality dining experience. In Fort Mill! PS - It's a small restaurant which filled quickly and early on the weekday we visited.
