Love this restaurant! The prices are very reasonable, especially with the lunch menu, and the food is consistently good. The cranberry crab rangoons are a must-try. The chef's specials are definitely the highlight -- the steak and duck dishes are very flavorful. Their drinks are great too; I really enjoyed the sangria. I personally think their noodle entrees are not as great/flavorful as the chef specials and curries. The staff here is also very friendly and great at recommending dishes. Plus, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Overall, I highly recommend this place for the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service!

This spot is definitely a hidden gem in Braintree, MA. The place is cozy and definitely perfect for hangout and dates. Server was attentive and fast. My food came within 15 minutes. I ordered calamari and khao soi with crispy chicken. Calamari are thinly cut and fried well. The dipping sauce for calamari is one of the best that I tried. Khao soi also has rich yellow curry broth and came with side of chili powder, shallot and lime. The noodle was balance between the fried part and soaked al dente part which gave a nice texture. Will definitely return here

Came here for lunch on a weekday and would 100% come back! The restaurant is pretty cozy and the staff is really nice. The service was also very fast. I came during the lunch special and it was a really good deal. I was able to get soup, an entree, and a spring roll for under $15. The best part is that if you add a drink, it's an extra dollar. Overall, it was a great value and the food was good - especially the basil fried rice and the Thai tea. Those were my favorite items of the day.

We had a great time here, the food is delicious, and the interior is beautiful. The drunken noodles are my favorite , so flavorful and packed with veggies, beef, and the noodles are these flat/wide rice noodles that is the perfect texture. Thai steak salad is delicious but small portion and pricey. The sauce is quite sour/fishy and may not be everyone's cup of tea. Beef noodle soup was hearty and unique, it's not like a traditional Chinese beef noodle. It's closer to pho, where it uses rice noodles and the broth is not too heavy! There's bean sprouts and beef slices. Overall, super delicious, fast service, and there's street parking!

New addition to south shore. Prices are average and they do a lunch special Monday-Friday for an entree and side like soup or spring roll. Was unable to watch the lunch since it was Saturday so we ordered chicken satay, drunken noodles, and mango curry. Very disappointed in the satay, thought it was kind of lackluster just barely marinated in curry and coconut marinade. I've had better satay As for drunken noodles, it was good. I was say better than most as some places do not have much flavor or color and here there was. As for the curry, portion looks big but plate quite deceiving. It was good I will say but nothing mind blowing

Located in downtown Brockton is this Thai restaurant, great for sit down or take out. The inside is very mid century American with light coffee shop music vibes in the background. Staff were very friendly and attentive (I got a spicy dish and they kept my water cup full!) food was overall very good, with well executed flavors that were balanced. Only small drawbacks my wife and I encountered was the Thai iced green tea may have had the tea steeping longer than our preferences and the carrots in our curry were not as cooked as much as I would have preferred. Overall though an excellent option for dinner if you are in the area.

Fast service and a warm, Family owned atmosphere makes this place a real gem. The interior is sleek, spotless, and beautifully designed, with comfy couches and fresh flowers on every table. We tried a variety of dishes that were all fantastic: the Hatyai Chicken Wings (5) were crispy and flavorful, Mango Fried Rice was perfectly sweet and savory, the Drunken Noodle and Tom Yum Noodle were both spicy and packed with bold flavors, the Pad Thai was wonderfully balanced and gluten-free, and the Yellow Curry was rich and creamy with a great GF option. The presentation of every dish was impressive, showing real care and attention. All the food was very fairly priced, and they even surprised us with an extra chicken wing! This amazing restaurant definitely deserves more attention and customers for its generous portions, great quality, and affordable prices. Highly recommend!

Solid pad Thai if you like yours saucy and sweet. The portion size was large so good value for the money. The inside was cute , bright, and welcoming.

It has a modern and cozy interior design. When we got there at 5 p.m. on Thursday, we were seated immediately; it was not that busy. Service was friendly but not attentive after all the dishes were served. We finished our meal in less than an hour. Lychee with Coconut Jelly - It was refreshing, not too sweet. Love it Thai Iced Green Tea - not too bitter or too sweet Shrimp Donut - MUST TRY - they chopped the shrimp instead of mincing, crispy and juicy Cranberry Crab Rangoon - served to warm, the cream cheese melts in your mouth Chicken Satay - the size of the chicken satay is the largest that I have eaten compared to other Thai restaurants, and the chicken is juicy Tom Yum Soup (with shrimp) - size was huge, medium spicy Tom Kha Soup (with shrimp) - size was huge but lack of coconut flavor Softshell Crab Mango Salad - I wish the mango were more ripe instead of raw Royal Pad Thai - nice presentation, but the pad thai was a little dried and lack of sauce Duck Tamarind - the duck was juicy and crispy, but the sauce was slightly salty. It would be best if you ate it with rice

Located across from McDs with limited parking in the lot or the street. Amazing service. Prices for dishes are very reasonable for the portion and taste. The soups are delicious and the shrimp donut is crispy and crunchy. The wings were large and flavorful. Great food and service. Tasty and authentic.

The Peppery is a delicious new addition to Braintree! The restaurant was renovated after the previous place closed, and it looks more modern and feels more comfortable. We had a reservation and were promptly seated by the window. Our server came to our table a few moments afterwards and we ordered several Thai Iced Teas which really hit the spot on a hot day, especially with the crushed iced that they use. We started our meal with crab rangoons and chicken satay. The rangoons were stuffed and the filling was flavorful, one of the best crab rangoons I've had in a while! The chicken satay was juicy and the peanut sauce that came with it was addicting. Next came the creamy tom yum seafood soup, which came in a large pot with calamari, shrimp and mussels- more than enough to feed 4 or 5 people. Also we had the drunken noodles and that was loaded with fresh vegetables and the flavor was on point. After demolishing those four items, we decided on the mango sticky rice as a palette cleanser and sweet treat. The dish was loaded with coconut milk and cream, which was a great balance of refreshing and sweetness. The service was received was phenomenal and all of our food arrived quickly- we were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes. I highly recommend The Peppery for your next Thai craving in and around Braintree.

Ambience of the space is very clean and nice. We arrived on a weekday and it was just us near closing time but chill music nice lighting and calm atmosphere. We like that at times! I think the establishment is fairly new this year. The Thai ice teas were creamy, flavorful and NOT watery like some places. Nice to discover this spot on the south shore. We started with the mussels, wish the temp was a bit hotter, but the broth the mussels are in had good flavor depth (a pinch more heat to make it spicy would have been awesome) I enjoyed it overall. The mussels were tender not rubbery. I usually don't care for mussels but the lady likes them. Our other entree was a beef pad see ew i thought the flavor was good, for some reason other Thai spots make things too sweet. Felt it was balanced and good temp. The beef was typical cuts not out of this world but consistent to the standard beef cut stir fried with the rice noodles. I did crispy chicken basil fried rice. I liked that my rice had a slight kick (as it should!) onions, peppers, and Thai chili. The rice i enjoyed it came out hot and fresh. The chicken i think is pre packaged (which i think most a lot of places do) then fried but it wasn't dry or anything of that nature. Pleasant and i enjoyed it enough! The desert of course is mango sticky rice. I thought the sticky rice was great! The mango wasn't the sweet mango but it was still refreshing. I would have probably liked the rice and mango to be smothered with more sweet coconut milk sauce. (They do drizzle it generously though). The service i thought was great, they checked on us throughout the meal. Servers were super sweet and attentive. I would give service 5 stars. Will return again. Thank you!

The gentleman who helped us was welcoming, offered us tea, and got our table ready right away. It seemed like they were a bit short-staffed, as service started off slow. We ordered the shrimp fresh rolls, which were very fresh and tasty. The fried rolls were also delicious--the pork was moist and flavorful. The eye round pho had a flavorful broth, but the chicken pho was bland and almost sweet. Someone else at the table tried it and mentioned it tasted slightly like seafood. Both rice plates we ordered had very flavorful meat. The last dish we tried (not pictured) was the vermicelli combo bowl with a fried roll, chopped pork, and grilled shrimp, which was really tasty. For drinks, we ordered the brown sugar boba. It wasn't very sweet, and while that may appeal to some, I personally wished it were sweeter. The boba pearls were a mix of hard and chewy, which took away from the drink. The gentleman who assisted us was very attentive and even suggested how to dip the meat in different sauces to make it more flavorful. He was really attentive and kind. Overall, I'd rate our experience a 3 out of 5. It was decent, but I'm not sure I'd be in a rush to return.

I recently wrote a review for the 'Hot & New' Omori in Quincy. While I am not a detractor of Omori,…read morethe experience there left something to be desired. This is due to some creative decisions I disagree with and, at times, very little eel. Meanwhile, Sake Japanese Restaurant hits just the right spot! The creative decisions were excellent, with everything coming together splendidly. The fish was fresh and in more than generous amounts. This, in turn, makes the cost of about $20 per roll seem reasonable and makes it much easier to stomach (I didn't intend the pun, but I will own it). Regarding the Holiday and the Kevin Page, these maki rolls are similar. Both shine with the white fish on top and generous amounts of tuna (and salmon in the Holiday's case) within. The eel and cucumber add a pleasant new dimension to the pieces. I'd say these two are like identical twins adopted by different families. Each will have some unique personality and flair, but at the core, they are one. The crazy tuna brought something different to the table. While I am generally not a fan of the chopped-up style of fish, here it just works, and I didn't mind it. If I were to guess, this is because many places have more tempura than fish and add too much spicy mayo. Despite the style, the tuna was still able to shine through. For the inside, I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the cumber with the sweetness and savory notes from the eel. Finally, the service was polite and speedy, though it wasn't bustling. Thus, not only would I happily return to Sake, but I would love to order the same three rolls again, for they were *that* good.
