We stopped by Little Duck Thai Restaurant for dinner on Friday night. It's a small little spot and very cute with duck decoration everywhere. We started with the chicken satay. The chicken was cooked nicely. We ordered the duck fried rice and the rice and duck plate. Both were delicious and the proportions were perfect. The sticky mango rice dessert was good, too. This was a great sit down spot even though most people coming in ordered takeout.

It was my boss and my first time trying this place. We ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees. The decors were so cute and the food were yummy! Please come here even if you have better places to go!

Such a cute, little hole in the wall of a restaurant! I got pad thai with duck and loved it - I don't usually go for duck as the meat option but I'm glad I did! The thai iced tea was also so yummy. You can tell there's a lot of love put into their cooking :') The staff was so friendly and checked in a few times to make sure the food was to our liking and that our experience was going well!

I've been going here for almost as long as I remember (10+ years) but moved away in recent years. My favorite dish of all time was the crispy pad Thai, which is fried egg noodles tossed in pad Thai sauce- super crispy, crunchy, and sweet! I have been to many Thai restaurants across the country and have never found a dish like this, so it must be a little duck specialty. They've removed it from the menu since, but was able to make it at my request and it's just as I remembered! SO delicious! Other fan favorites are the pork gra pao, Thai tea and Tom yum soup, although with the Tom yum soup ask for it mild if you can't handle the spice!

Clockwise from top right: spicy basil pad thai w chicken, tom yum soup w chicken, tom kar soup w mushroom, and gra pao w extra spicy chicken

We usually get Thai food from another spot in Braintree, but decided to try Little Duck out! Definitely coming back to get a duck dish next time. My partner and I ordered the spicy basil pad thai w chicken, tom yum soup w chicken, tom kar soup w mushroom, and gra pao w extra spicy chicken - TASTE: 5/5 - the spicy basil pad thai was the highlight! Although it wasn't as spicy as I was hoping, the chilis and basil were great complements to an already solid dish. The tom yum soup was on point w hot and sour flavors, as well as the tom kar soup w its strong coconut taste. The gra pao also wasn't that spicy, but still satisfying TEXTURE: 4/5 - the pad thai was perfect, with just the right chewiness and sauciness. I liked how the crisp green beans, onions, and peppers broke up the ground meat of the gra pao PRICE: 4/5 - I think the prices are very reasonable! Our order came out to $39.90 subtotal SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - both soups were larger than expected! We ordered extra chicken w our gra pao, but seemed like a regular size serving. In any case, we have a little of everything leftover for tomorrow's lunch SERVICE: 4/5 - we ordered online on a Friday night and our food was ready for pickup, on time, 30min later ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - we didn't dine in, but the space is cozy and cute with lots of duck decorations PARKING: 3/5 - only a few street parking spots directly in front of Little Duck. We emergency parked to pop in and out of there

This is a great little place if you're in the neighbourhood. I came here with a friend when we were hungry. Our order: Seafood spicy lime soup, wonton soup, crab rangoon, and 2 pad thais: one with chicken, one with duck. Spicy seafood lime soup: This was delicious. Definitely spicy and warms you up. What's weird is the precise amount of seafood: 1 shrimp, 1/2 scallop, squid piece. Not a problem, just weird. Nice portion between a cup and a bowl. Crab rangoons: You can never go wrong. I have a pic of them, but note that it's missing 2 since both my friend and I ate them before I remembered to take a pic. Pad thai duck: A very good pad thai option for not too much $. What set this apart was that it was not dry- something that's way too common with most pad thais. I loved it. fair portion of duck too. I did not try my friend's wonton soup nor her pad thai with chicken. General: all of the seats are close to the window. We went during winter, and had to keep our coats on since it was cold. Language barrier seems to be a small problem when communicating order add ons, etc. however please note that the food did come correctly as ordered. Friendly service. Would I come here again? Big yes. How far would I drive for this? likely 20 mins or so! The pad thai was *that* good.

They do have some tables you can move together for more folks. Waitress came with water and menus and gave us time to decide. We cam on a Friday night and surprisingly wasn't too busy so we got to pick our own table. I wanted something different from thai iced tea to drink and locked in on the longan drink. Did not disappoint, 4/5 good. It was sweet and subtle flavors of longan with 5-6 longan on bottom. Very refreshing. 4/5 fried wontons were spot on, fresh, hot and crispy with juicy pork filling. Definitely could eat many more. 4/5 pork boat noodle, great presentation and i liked the heavier herbal taste than the normal boat noodles soups which I have had in past which tends to be much sweeter. I just wished they gave us more soup!!! As you can tell from photo, not enough soup to satisfy me! Overall great thai restaurant, would love to come again for other dishes to try.

Authentic food and flavors. When asked about the Chinese text on menu, gentleman explained that while they are not ethnically Chinese or mixed, there is considerable presence of Chinese cuisine in Thailand, and the ingredients and flavors do overlap. What's special about this place is that they also offer offals such as livers - if you're not a fan, feel free to do without.

They have a kiosk you order food. The first thing you see is how many pennies they will charge you for any fork knife spoon plate bag etc. it's making customers wonder if you're stressing over pennies what's the quality of food like are they skimping on that too? I ordered a pad kra pao. It's always been served with an egg. Not here, that's $2.95 extra! The price doesn't include any meat/tofu, you have to choose one that's at least $1.95 more So $17 plus tax for a takeout and they make me pay .03 for a fork and no napkins anywhere to be seen btw. The dish was almost all rice. There was maybe 6oz of basil peppers and minced chicken Gf had a panang curry which was also almost all rice I won't be coming back sorry to say especially given the horrible traffic that plagues this area. Not sure if it was an off night, but my pork was no grilled well... I was hoping their was a char on the pork but there was none. It almost tasted undercooked. Luckily it wasn't... The sauce that comes with the grilled pork is really good. It definitely saved the pork. This comes with a side serving of sticky rice. I would give this dish a 6/10. I'm definitely going to come back and give this dish another try. Pad Thai here is good. I would say 7/10. We did have a mishap because we requested no peanuts and there were peanuts all over. Requested for extra spicy and it wasn't spicy...
