Little Duck makes very good green curry.... the flavor is spot on... and they loaded it up with plently of fresh, crisp veggies.... not over cooked as ive experienced at many other Thai spots. The papaya salad was good... not the best ive ever had but defintely a solid 8 out of 10... just wish the portion was a bit more. Yes, i would order it again. My friend got shrimp Pad Thai and he loved it.. Service is prompt, even if they are very busy they took great care of us. Ambiance is open and clean... lots of outside light coming in....and i like that. Its not a fancy posh place but it does not need to be. My husband has been going here for years! He absolutely loves it, so I went and had to finally see what he's always talking about! One thing I noticed right off the bat was the clean atmosphere! We got take out. It was fine but wasn't the most flavorful. The scallion pancakes were decent but not super flavorful. The pad Thai was definitely lacking some flavor. Lovely little spot with lots of personality (ducks everywhere!) and very nice owners. I got takeout and thought the food was average but decent sized portions. The chicken pad Thai could have used more seasoning or sauce. Also got the garlic crispy duck which was fine but better to eat at the restaurant then takeout because the batter will get soggy by the time you get it home because it'll end up steaming in the container. I did enjoy the interior when I was picking up my order. There are only a few tables but it was all take out on Friday night when we stopped by at 6. I've seen it packed during lunch time though. This is hands-down, one of our favorite restaurants in America. This is the most authentic Thai that you can get in Massachusetts. You have to try the Thai basil chicken and the pad Thai. The flavor is smoky, yet sour, yet savory, yet everything you've ever wanted. They execute so well. What's weird is the precise amount of seafood: 1 shrimp, 1/2 scallop, squid piece. Not a problem, just weird. Nice portion between a cup and a bowl. Crab rangoons: You can never go wrong. I have a pic of them, but note that it's missing 2 since both my friend and I ate them before I remembered to take a pic. Pad thai duck: A very good pad thai option for not too much $. What set this apart was that it was not dry- something that's way too common with most pad thais. I loved it. fair portion of duck too. I did not try my friend's wonton soup nor her pad thai with chicken. General: all of the seats are close to the window. We went during winter, and had to keep our coats on since it was cold. Overall, I'd say this is a good place in quincy center! The crab rangoons were very good, the onion is a nice addition. The Basil fried rice was great, huge portion too and a good spice. The pad thai is more wet than what I'm used to, but very flavorful still. I think the noodles were great as they were still chewy and not super soggy like some places have. The crispy chicken basil was very good, unlike anything I've tried before. The chicken was delicately crisp and super juicy - if you order I'd recommend eating it there as it probably wouldn't hold up crisp-wise if you got takeout. I will say that the food and menu does seem more americanized compared to other Thai places in the area, which can be a plus or minus depending on your tastes. The service is fast and very friendly, and it seems like the place is pretty even with how many people takeout and eat-in. It does get a little cold with the front door opening often, especially in the winter but it's super clean and well-kept. I'd recommend if you're looking for Thai in central quincy. read more

If you love Thai food, this place is for you! I came here last week with some friends on a weekday for dinner around 6pm. First off, as others have mentioned, parking is a little bit of a hassle. They only have 5 street parking spots in the front of the restaurant that are always taken. We ended up parking across the street near the TJ Max and Dollar Tree and walking across. The restaurant is relatively small and is meant to mostly be a take out restaurant. They have about 6 or 7 tables in the restaurant and a lot of foot traffic due to their high volume of take out orders. The tables are also close to the kitchen so the constant people coming in and out, the kitchen noises, and the phone ringing non-stop was a little distracting. The Food: We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Beef Pad See U. Our favorite was surprisingly the Pineapple Fried Rice. It unexpectedly came with a delicious curry taste and was a favorable blend of spices and smelled heavenly. It came with only a few pieces of pineapple, but was a decent size. The Beef Pad See U was also good, but about average. The Pad Thai was mixed between my group. I thought it was good, but one of friends thought it was too sweet. For a Pad Thai, this is sweeter than most I've tried, but it ordered well for me. I would recommend it if you have a sweet teeth. It was also the largest dish out of the three. For all this food, our total only came out to $25 (roughly $8 a dish and this was for dinner) so I thought it was a good deal for the quality and fair portion sizes. The Service: There was only one server working the 6 or so tables and she also was the cashier and answering the phone. Thus, service was pretty slow. We sat ourselves down, but it took us 5 minutes to get menus and then another 20 before we got our orders in. However, the kitchen was fast and we got our food without 10 minutes.
