Went late night, arriving almost at last call. The bartender, Barry, was extremely welcoming and pleasant! Wanted to return another night but unfortunately didn't make it before leaving Manhattan [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was nice, welcoming, warm tones. It's a nice pub![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]People next to us were laughing and enjoying each other's company. The FIFA 26 game was on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Did not order food but the drinks were great! Stella is always a great choice. Also ordered the Guinness Nitro (excellent for a dark beer in my opinion). Also ordered a mango drink that was advertised on the coaster and that was very pleasant -- oftentimes fruity flavors taste artificial and/or have a weird aftertaste but this was delicious! Connolly's Pub was such a great experience. The food was amazing -- I had the French Dip sandwich and omg, I can't wait to go back just for that alone. It paired perfectly with a Magners on tap, which made the whole meal even better. Our server was super sweet and attentive throughout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only small downside was a few loud people, especially since it wasn't overcrowded at the time, but it didn't take away too much from the overall experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a spot I'd go back to! read more

We loved Connolly,'s pub! My girlfriend recommended Connolly,'s based on a quick Google search. We weren't going to go and then it appeared right in front of us in Times Square. This place was packed but our waitress was nice and patient. I haven't been in this restaurant. Since the location is around Times Square, it's filled with tourists. I was hungry so the fish and chips that I orders hit the spot. I also ordered the hot toddy and it was okay. Not the best hot toddy that I have had. This place I thought it would be good. Everyone got their meal and it looked good and then I got mine and I ordered fish and chips and I regret that because the cod when I tell you was chewy now, it was supposed to be soft like normal fish now I had to get it re-ordered and the lady there now I want to be so respectful to her because she does speak a different language, but we can't understand what she was saying but I can't spaghetti and I was OK and then they pull out these big ice cream sundaes that you get for free which I mean like it's like fine but now I'm scared to get food poisoning I never did by the way it's just like scary you know like it felt like they like left it out for too long or was overcooked or something but you know I'm thinking the worst. Connolly's opened up a second location! I've walked past this location many times as it is located close to the LIRR at Grand Central. Service was quick and food was out within 15 minutes. They had typical Irish dishes as well as American entrees (salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, etc.). I ordered their Shepherd's Pie and thought it was pretty solid. I liked that it came with a potato chip on top! Portions are good for lunch. They have plenty of indoor seating and the upstairs would be ideal for groups or events. read more

We were staying nearby this amazing place and paid it a visit quite a number of times for both food and drinks. Food is amazing and staff were very friendly and attentive. We chatted with Norma, each time we visited and she was so lovely - always took time to come over and say hi! Big restaurant with multiple floors catering to different events/styles. Was pretty packed but still found a relatively private corner. Food and service was awesome. Beef stew tasted very homestyle, however was a bit heavy on the potatoes. Draft Guinness was incredible as expected. Irish cheesecake was delicious. weird vibes in here. our group watching the Knicks game with everyone else and we were specifically…read moreasked to leave for 'not drinking enough' despite many others not having drinks and being disruptive. it was targeted. a couple bartenders were nice, the blond waitress was rude and seemed to have some kind of vendetta. i truly felt the drinks and atmosphere was just fine but the waitress ruined it. be warned before you go in (and if you're brown).

It's a small Irish pub, our servers were Irish too! They had traditional food (including shepherds…read morepie), and the family loved it all. Nothing special, but definitely better than standard bar food-- plus they had some good vegetarian options, which was a nice plus. We were seated quickly, which was surprising considering how packed the place was on a random Tuesday. There happened to be a 4 top in the back with our name on it. Our servers were super friendly, the pints were fresh, and the atmosphere was pretty spot on for an Irish pub, albeit perhaps more tame than on a busy weekend. Really appreciated this pub!

While I was visiting New York, my coworker back home sent me on a mission to find a specific Irish…read morebeer since they just got back from Ireland. Apparently this beer is not as common in New York, but there were a couple Irish pubs that still sold them on draft and luckily there was one nearby my hotel. Very cool place! It's easy to miss walking by but once inside there's a bar on the main floor, restaurants in the next floor and a rooftop bar several stories up. The rooftop bar is a huge open atmosphere and once seated you have about 40 beers on tap to select from. The staff is incredibly friendly as well and knew exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely come back to try more drinks!

Bartenders - FIVE of them will ignore tf out of you until they have no choice but to speak to you because some finance bros came and called the bartenders over. Thought it was because I'm a woman but then this older Caucasian woman came to sit next to me and they came to her right away (I'm a woman of color). I even had to flail my arms just to get the tab and I can tell that it's their routine to ignore a certain demographic. I was only here because my friend had to meet up with my work colleagues so I thought I would grab a seat at the bar and enjoy a quick burger before heading out for birthday festivities. The burger and fries were good and the rooftop is nice. I have no desire to return but it's probably what they want.
