Dr. Sterio is an amazing doctor. He was gentle and kind. He performed his work efficiently with no pain. I had a bone graft and an implant. The staff there are professional and nice. In addition, my mother had an emergency that required being seen same day. Even though she was not a current patient, they performed their work at a low cost. We paid just for the CAT scan but were not charged for the consultation with Dr. Sterio. They sent us on our way with a copy of the CAT scan since her usual oral surgeon was unavailable. BEWARE: After seeing doctor Wise at Perico Group for a tooth implant, days after my tooth became totally infected. So much so infected that it killed the tooth next to it and led to severe pain and agony. They then "fixed" the problem and reoperated on me which was probably the most excruciating pain of my life. It was then fixed, however, the root canal that I had to have on the tooth next to it was paid for out of my own pocket. Years down the line, I am now pregnant and experiencing the SAME infection in the SAME implant. There is puss coming out of my implant and my gums are red to the point of almost purple. I called Perico to see if they could look at this ASAP as an infection for anyone could be dangerous, nevermind someone who is 7 months pregnant. They made me an appointment in the middle of rush hour about an hour from my home when they had doctors about 15 minutes away from me that could check me out. Instead, I drove all the way from my work (about an hour away) only to be turned away because I was ten minutes late and the doctor had "left for the day." I then politely asked if I could be seen at their other office and they said not today. I am APPPALLLLLEDDD at the service i have been given here, given the fact that it is their implant that caused this infection, not once but TWICE! and they wont even see me given the fact that im pregnant and have an infection is absolutely horrifying to me. Having an emergency situation which required a tooth extraction with sedation due to an infection. I have high anxiety and was extremely nervous. I was recommended to The Perico group and I have to say I have never been treated so well ever!! They are kind and compassionate and understood my fears and I totally trusted them. I was referred to Dr. Sterio in the Perico Group by my general practitioner Dr. Inhwan Hong for a gum examination. On 4/9, I called in the morning to make an appointment. I called the general number. I was forwarded to the intake specialist as a new patient. No one answered the phone. I left a voice message. By 1:59PM, no one had called me back. I called again. At 3:23PM I called again, and the office was closed. Still, no one had called me back. I went online to the Perico Group's website, and engaged with the Chatbot. I explained I had called more than once and no one had called me back. I was provided a cell phone to text to. I texted the number provided and said I had called more than once and no one had called me back. The person on the other end of the cell phone number told me someone would contact me. I received a phone call and voice message that Friday (4/9) from the intake coordinator, who apologized for the failure to call me back, and I was provided with a direct number to call to schedule and to call on Monday (4/12). On 4/12 I called and spoke to an intake specialist who set up 2 appointments for 4/30 and 5/1. On Wed 4/14, I was told I had to travel during those dates. That afternoon I went to their Chatbot and engaged with the Chat person and said I needed to re-schedule my appointments. I was provided the cell phone to text to. I texted the cell phone that I needed to reschedule the appointments. The person on the other end of the cell phone number told me someone would contact me the next morning (4/15). The morning of 4/15 came and went and no one called, no voice message, nothing. I went to their Chatbot and engaged with the Chat person and said I never received the morning phone call I was promised. I was given the cell phone number to text to. I texted the cell phone and said that I never received the morning phone call I was promised. At that point, I decided I would cancel my appointments if someone ever called me back. I contacted my general practitioner dentist and asked for another referral. Someone from the Perico Group did finally call, and couldn't understand why my experience kept happening. I canceled my appointments with the Perico Group and have since decided to go to another provider. This group needs to take a serious look at their patient intake and scheduling service processes and SLAs. They failed in every way, and couldn't even determine why they failed. They should replace their staff with more responsible and attentive staff. I know I will never refer anyone I know to this group. I have let Dr. Inhwan Hong know of my experience, I've provided them with a copy of this complaint. I will include it when I post my experience on other review sites. read more

Dr.Sabra and Chelsea were great. I felt at ease during the extraction surgery and have confidence that he did a thorough job. I felt that he was in tune with when I needed more anesthetic, and talked me through what was going on. Chelsea helped support my jaw and counteracted the pressure of my tooth being pulled, was highly efficient with the suction and she answered all of my post op questions. All of the staff was very friendly both in office and over the phone. I would highly recommend this practice. read more

ok.. when does a person write a review about how GREAT their dentist appointment was.. well.. today i had a tooth EXTRACTED and bone graft, and i am so blown way by the amazing care, attitude, and talent i received.. that first thing i am doing is writing about Dr Daniel Sabra, and his fabulous team, Chelsea & Carolyn. i was nervous, scared. but the moment i arrived kathy at the front put me at ease.. then chelsea come to take me in.. more unbelievable care and friendly wonderful people. dr sabra was nothing short of amazing.. i had Zero pain, and we even picked the music and i had fun being with them.. this sounds all too good.. well.. let me tell you, never have i written a review. but HAD too. if you ever have to have tooth extracted, oral surgery.. there is ONE person i would say to see, Dr Sabra at Perico! he even called later in the day to see how i was going. i wish i could find a primary this outstanding. 11 stars out of 10 Thank YOU! let's see he named Boston Best ! note i am not friend or family to dr sabra.. this is actually a real experience!!! read more

Beware of this business. I was treated as though I had no pain receptors and was a nuisance from the get go. The woman who worked with me seemed to have very little experience working with patients. It is not often that people find themselves getting a tooth extracted due to disease/pain. I had never used the equipment before. Rather than explaining what was being done and what I needed to do to make it work, I was treated like a problem because I didn't know how to sit properly. The employee verbally stated she was upset that she had to move the seat more than once because I wasn't seated right for the x-ray. When I had questions about what procedures were being done I was told that I had signed a waiver and had already agreed to pay for things. Wow. Talk about having the upper hand. I signed an agreement that I needed treatment immediately (I had to have an emergency extraction) I did not sign off on blindly being given different treatments staff can't/won't explain. The final straw was the immense pain I was put in with total disregard. I have a pretty decent pain threshold and the Dr. even said that I was a "tough cookie" but this woman who administered the numbing agent was ruthless. When I started to tear up and held my fist in the air in pain she gave no words of comfort nor did she take a moment to stop to give me a break. It was horrible. When it was all over, I was told to speak to the woman in the front of the office. This woman says, without preamble, that I need to give them $1000 in good faith since this was an emergency extraction and they didn't have time go contact my insurance. Are all patients asked to do this? For anyone looking for an extraction, I highly recommend you look elsewhere unless you want to be charged $2,219.00 and treated like a sack of unfeeling potatoes. read more

Last year they told me I had to pay an additional $19 so that they could clean up after me because they had extra cleaning to do because of COVID-19. Today's visit once again another issue. They tell me that because they're changing the practice of periodontal cleanings I do not qualify for insurance to pay because I haven't had any surgeries in past 3 years. All these years with Dr Arthur Schwartz there wasn't a problem now since they merged things have changed. They tell me I'll have to pay out of pocket or go to my general dentist. They told me this right before my cleaning. I thought they were going to charge me but hygienist said no I'm all set this visit. So I called someone I've known there for many years and she explained they're changing the way they are doing business. No longer doing regular cleaning. All this time I thought I was having periodontal cleanings and had to go there. As luck would have it I have a great general dentist who treats me a lot better than perico does now. I figured this would happen since the way they spoke to me last year. I've already started going back to my great general dentist snd have an appointment in March so I'll call them and make another appointment for a year from now. I have to go back to perico for a minor procedure of grafting. They'll cover that! Even checking out the people at the desk as you leave are not friendly. Not the same place as it used to be with Dr Schwartz. read more

Dr Lock at this group is not professional. He forced us to wait 90 minutes before seeing us. He had not done his homework - did not know if 3D x rays had been done - despite working in our primary dentists' offices once a week. Insisted we pay $350 for new 3D x-rays, despite my concerns for the effects of more x rays on my son's health and well being. I believe Dr Lock lied to us for financial benefit claiming more x rays were needed when the tooth was visible and the procedure turned out to be exceedingly straight-forward (he could see exactly where the gum was on the tooth). The x rays were not needed. Dr Lock violated the Hippocratic Oath - he did harm (for financial gain). I would not recommend this dentist. read more

Dr Bernstein and team were the best. Got an extraction, graft, and implant in the same procedure and it was painless. Such a nice group of smart, professional people. I've had many dental procedures done, and this was by far the best experience. Would recommend in a second. read more
