I have been bringing my two rescue cocker spaniels for a while now and it's time to share the experience. Cody and Jax live for the moment when I say "it's time to go to work" because they know it's time to visit the Pet Palace. I have a three day a week package and it is worth every penny. As rescue dogs, I want them to have a wonderful life and the Pet Palace is a big part of that. It is important to know that the boys are well cared for, have lots of play and attention and most importantly a safe and clean environment surrounded by staff that pay attention. We took our dog to pet palace two times and both times we had to take him to his doctor afterwards. The first time his vet said he had kennel cough. This final time his vet couldn't explain the prolific welps from his shoulders up and including his forehead. Don't take your beloved pet to pet palace! We walked in at the last minute looking for a place to board our dog and cat over Labor Day weekend. They gave us a tour and we were impressed by how much they show the animals love and care! We did pay extra for some one and one cuddle time and bed time stories. Overall, it wasn't as expensive as some people want to make it sound. Our animals our like our children and they had never been boarded before. So we wanted to make sure they would be well taken care of and made to feel comfortable. In the end, the cost was about the same as Advanced Pet Care, but the accommodations were 1000 times better! Advanced Pet Care wanted almost $300 to keep our animals in cold metal cages and have our dog go potty on a little patch of concrete. The Pet Palace kept our babies in nice cages and played with them. A much better buy if you ask me. read more

They run a good service but they're expensive and they Nickle and dime you. After it was all said and done they had some other $5 charge that I still don't understand and I haven't seen elsewhere. I won't be going again because there are others of equal quality for less money. I think you might be paying for their nice furniture, fancy building and the limo sitting out front. I highly recommend The Pet Palace. Sky Guy has been going there for years (he's almost 6 so this review is long overdue!) and it's been his home-away-from-home since he was 12 weeks old. He goes for day care several days a week and we always board him there when we go away. Everyone spoils him and treats him like he was their own - he bolts from the car when we get there and gives everyone kisses before heading off to play. I'm nothing but his driver to his doggie all-inclusive! I can't say enough about the fabulous staff - too many to name and I'd hate to leave anyone out - and the owners, Darrell & Angela, are very caring, hands-on, and family-oriented so don't be surprised to see a grandbaby or two hanging out at the front desk! Pet Palace is the first kennel that we have found that can handle our dogs. We love that they are completely honest with us, and very knowledgable on certain health/skin/diet issues we may have! This place is amazing! My dog has serious allergies to include food and skin. So, if you love your 4 legged family member as I do mine then making sure the place you kennel is very important. Well, let me tell you the experience Walter (boxer 85lbs) and I had. First, when you walk thru the front doors the inside is beautiful and clean. The staff there are extremely courteous and super friendly. With that said until now the only place Walter ever stayed at was my sister's house. I trust her she is family. By the time the girl behind the counter checked us in I started feeling more and more comfortable with leaving him there. I asked if I could see where he was going to be sleeping etc etc and she took me to see his kennel. Two words...... Very Clean..... She made sure that his name was on every special bag of food. Then the groomer came out to consult with me about his skin allergies. As you can imagine he can't just be bathed with any type of shampoo. I opted for this blueberry facial because his face is usually pink around his nose. When I picked him up he was happy, smelled wonderful and the pink that was so bright looked much lighter due to the blueberry facial. Plus they have the greatest treats. I got several treats for Walter and I will say rhis if he saw the bag they were in he would come sit in front of me until he got one. So they must be super yummy to him. Also, they have a dog pool which is so cool for the dogs in the summer months. I hope this review was helpful and if you ever see Walter and I say hi! Pet Palace was to groom our two cats Honey and Pepper and the day we carried them to get groomed they kept them in small carrier's for three hours and called to come get them. We thought they were through but to our amazement they didn't groom them. They said they were unruly but my question is how long were they locked up in their carrier's before they tried to groom them hum wondering if they even tried. Glad we decided to use Advance Pet Care and they groomed Honey and next Pepper will be groomed very happy with the results. Would not recommend this place. read more

Used to like this place but lately the staff have been less than accommodating. On multiple occasions I asked for full days of daycare and when I went to pick up found out she only played a half day. A half day of daycare is 2 hours but costs $15, other places $15 gets you 4 hours. Also, every time I pick her up she darts to the grass and pees for about 2 minutes straight. A few times of being overcharged and the hassle of trying to get it corrected. Never just an apology and a credit, took weeks of back and fourth phone calls. Annoying. Have smelt urine and seen urine on more than one occasion. I've worked in vet clinics and pet care places for years and this is inexcusable. They need to be more aware of their surroundings and prepared for the inevitable marking/accident. Lots of small things that most would find excusable on individual or infrequent visits but they've added up to the point where I will no longer come here. I've given so many chances but no longer have confidence in their ability to care for my dog. read more

We have used Pet Palace in the past for boarding and were very pleased however that is so not the case anymore. Our dogs stayed there in October and the first sign things had changed was the extreme odor in the boarding area. We overlooked this and left the dogs for the weekend. The day after we picked them up we noticed hundreds of small brown bugs all over the dogs as well as the areas where they sleep. Initially we thought they were fleas but after taking the animals to the vet we found out that they are actually seed ticks. Now all the dogs have to be on medicine for 3 months and the house has to be exterminated evert month for the next 3 months. Obviously we are EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED! read more

I went to take my dogs there today for 10 days of boarding. I paid for a suite with in and out access due to the fact that my dog has epilepsy. We got there, after calling and said everything would be ready after one, and they put them in the regular runs/kennel which is extremely loud. I even asked one girl how they were doing in their room, she said fine. I asked about doggie door and cots, meanwhile I can hear my dogs just howling really loud along with the other dogs. I asked why was I hearing my dog when they were supposed to be in the back in an enclosed, quiet suite? They said, oh, yours isn't ready. I told them I had called and was told it was ready. No manager ever came out, it seemed disorganized, so I took them to my vet and boarded them which was my original plan and I should have stuck to it. read more
