I have been using the Pet Palace for years. They are reliable and my pets seem to be fine with the drop off experience. They offer lots of additional helpful services and products. The playtime is fun for the dogs and I love the way it feels like kids daycare. They ask the right questions and they try to keep the dogs healthy by tracking the vaccines, allergies, etc. I know that when I'm gone I don't have to worry about my pets which is so reassuring.

Ask the Community - The Pet Palace

What is the rate per day for all day stay? I'm military and have 2 small dogs that I want to board while training. Is there a limited number of days for consecutive stay?…

Do you accept aggressive dog breeds(chowchow)?

Do you offer puppies doggy daycare? What are the rates? Looking for somewhere 3 days a week for my 4 month old chiweenie while i'm at work.

I was wondering is this store pit friendly? Because i have 2 pitweilers that love to meet new people and are sweet but also hyper at times?

Are there any French Bulldog owners that take their babies here for group play? I am nervous about taking my boy anywhere because most people do not know about the breed specific care.

Yes, we actually have a large variety of breeds that frequent. Several Frencies that come several times every week. Our Staff is very familiar with specifics needs of each breed especially snub-nosed breeds as you do need to be cautious when it…

Do you have any giant schnauzers who you groom on a regular basis?

Yes, she's very fluffy, and yes, she has an incredibly dense, poodle-dominant coat. But she is brushed every single day, and I made one thing crystal clear when I dropped her off: Do NOT shave my dog. I asked them to remove about half the length, clean her up, and give her a proper groom. That was discussed multiple times. I dropped her off around 9:00 a.m. At 8:30 that night--after nearly 11 hours and multiple phone calls about "problems" they were having--I finally picked her up. This is what I got. She had been completely shaved down. Not trimmed. Not groomed the way we discussed. Completely shaved. They hadn't even blended her head into her body. As I was walking out, they noticed it themselves and asked, "We forgot to blend her head. Do you want us to do that?" After my dog had already spent 11 hours there. At one point they even suggested I leave Faith there overnight so they could go home and finish her the next day. Absolutely not. I paid $170 for a haircut that anyone with a pair of clippers could have done in 15 minutes. The photos speak for themselves: * What Faith looked like before. * What she came home looking like. * What a properly groomed Goldendoodle should look like. To be fair, I've always found the staff friendly, and I think Pets Gone Wild is fine for daycare or maybe a bath. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend them for grooming--especially if you have specific instructions or a doodle coat that requires skill and attention. If all you want is your dog shaved, you may be satisfied. If you're expecting a professional groom that follows your instructions, my experience was very different. I'm heartbroken because it took months to grow Faith's beautiful coat, and once it's shaved off, there's no putting it back. I hope sharing my experience helps another dog owner make an informed decision.

They've known him since they could carry him around with one hand. And they helped us when it was time to say goodbye to our loving cat Abigail. She was with us for 27 years. It felt as if one of our own children had passed. And they were with us every step of the way. Checking in on us. Sending us cards. Even on the anniversary of her passing. When ever Rerun or Goose have to go in for anything, they act as if it were a trip to a friend's house. Who wouldn't want that for their pets. Especially when we have to leave them behind. Whether for a trip or just the day. Our Animals are always looking happy when we drop them off or pick them up. That does my heart good.

TLC is the ONLY place I trust for my cat, Nala's care and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM…read more They are always there when I need them- for example - A few years ago, I was only 100 miles into our first cross-country road trip when my cat, Nala, started getting "motion sickness". He wasn't eating or drinking and he started vomiting every few minutes. I called TLC and told them I was traveling back east on the interstate and needed an OTC medicine that I could find at a truck stop or gas station mini-mart for Nala's motion sickness. Dr. Richardson got on the phone, and started consulting her medical books to determine a safe OTC medicine I could give Nala, the correct SAFE dosage, frequency, and advised of the best way to administer it to my cat. I immediately sought out the medicine and gave Nala the first dose, as instructed. Within 20 minutes, Nala was feeling better, drinking water again, and resting comfortably. Dr. Richardson called me back two more times during the next 48 hrs to check on Nala's status and I was happy to advise Nala did great throughout the rest of the 1,500 mile road trip with no more incidents. That level of genuine care and emergency veterinary support I received in that situation with my cat, while traveling (**without any compensation**) is something I have never before experienced with a veterinarian and that is why I ONLY trust the veterinarians at TLC Animal Hospital to care for my (current and future) FURR-BABIES. For those concerned about costs - I understand, however, TLC DOES cooperate with online sites, such as 1-800 PETMEDS. PLEASE NOTE: ***TLC also DOES NOT include ADJUVENTS in VACCINES!! This is HUGE because ADJUVENTS cause 90% of negative side effects to animals from vaccines. I hope this input helps! ~Vicki C. of Houston, Texas

It was diagnosed as a fatty tumor (I can't remember the exact name) that is rarely serious. It was drained and we went home with meds. About a month later it was back. Over the next few weeks we exhausted all options thinking it would go away on its own finally having to remove it with surgery being the last resort. The surgery was done one morning and Ziggy was home that evening. Dr. Sims described the surgery and assured me that she was able to remove all of the tumor and would send it off to the lab to be analyzed. Ziggy went home with pain meds, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory meds. They made sure he'd be comfortable while he wore his "cone of shame" in order to not mess with the operation site. She called me the next day to tell me the results showed cancer. I was obviously freaked out! She reassured me that she wasn't worried about it reappearing. She said we'd keep an eye on it with more than regular checkups. I really feel like Ziggy received the best care possible! I feel like she took care of Ziggy as if he were her own cat! I love the fact that it's a cats only facility. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable with cat decor that looks inviting. The entire staff is friendly and professional but most of all not rigid as I've found the staff and vets alike to be at other clinics in the area. We've also never waited long to be seen or placed in an exam room. Highly recommend Feline Medical Center!!! I'll never bring my cats anywhere else!!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.
