She loved everything she tried: Pinakbet (dish with bitter melon), Mongo (a bean dish), Caricao (a dessert on a stick), Chicken Adobo, Kare Kare (a meat dish with peanut butter), and Halo halo (a dessert drink). I've been coming here lately whenever I'm craving Filipino food but don't feel like cooking it myself at home. Every dish we've tried has been SO delicious. Ofcourse, my mom still makes the best turon but this place comes pretty close! Their halo halo definitely hits the spot too, although I wish they added a bit more ube ice cream and flan. Food was excellent temperature. Restaurant clean. I have to say that I'm picky when it comes to Filipino food because I'm Filipino and food tasted just like I was at a family party. Huge selection of Filipino food; all the food I tried was delicious. I got 3 entree option with half rice and half pancit; entrees I picked were Pinakbet, squid adobo, and pork sisig. All were very flavorful. So much food for the price. The 3 entree option became my work lunches for most of the week. I'm so glad to find pinakbet here; I love it but so many ingredients to make it and makes my house smell Glad I can just buy some when I'm craving it. Squid adobo was flavorful. The sisig was light and delicious with all the onions and peppers; the pork was diced so not too fatty or heavy. My friend tried the fried fish, which was not crispy since we went on a Sunday evening; might be better earlier in the day. The owners were so accommodating and patient explaining all of the entrees to us. They let us try a melon soup which was delicious and tasted healthy. Will be back for the soup as the weather cools down. They let us try banana lumpias. We got a variety of entrees and desserts. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I'm glad my friend found this hidden gem. I love supporting local businesses. They have limited seating with 2 tables but we were the only ones there; 3 of us on a Sunday afternoon at 5 pm. Finally had the opportunity to give this place a try. As a Filipina we can be quite critical when trying our own cuisine, since it's something we can make at home and there are many different versions Filipino dishes can be made. My family and I (2 adults and 2kids) arrived just around 7:15pm. From the outside looking in it looked closed since the windows were all covered up but the Open sign were there and flashing. We entered a strong smell of curry hit me almost felt like I was in an Indian restaurant instead of a Filipino. Red, red everywhere tables, chairs. They have an area for desserts, ice cream, halo halo, leche flan and drinks. The other area has all the hot food displayed. It was at the end of the day and they close at 9pm. The trays all had food but there was only a alittle bit left and from the looks of it, it might have just been sitting. They have combo plates and al carte. My husband and I both ordered 3 combo plates with rice, I had ask for pancit but I don't think they do half and half. Our main dishes included; chicken adobo, dinuguan, chicken curry, igado and 2 boneless milk fish. We also ordered lumpia on the side comes in 5pc but they gave us 6. I also saw prepackaged galunggong smoked fish and I was just so happy!!! Brought back childhood memories eating that fish. They have different prices for the combos during lunch and dinner hour. It's a bit in the pricey side for dinner but there was so much food. The lady who helped us was so kind. She packed everything nicely and provided all the sauces: vinegar and sweet chili sauce. They gave us more than enough plates and utensils. They have high chairs and she helped set it up and cleaned it which was really nice of her because most restaurants lately just give you the high chairs and it's so filthy. Everything was honestly delicious! I could only imagine if it was fresh! Nothing was overwhelmingly salty compared to other Filipino restaurants. The Igado was so good however it was swimming in grease. The galunggong smoked fish was bomb. The chicken adobo was perfect and the chicken was so tender. Strangely enough I've never had chicken curry at a Filipino restaurant but it was also good and not spicy. We order pineapple juice it was the end of the day so it tasted a bit water down. Overall my husband and I thought everything was delicious. I would love to return when food is fresh, oh and the desserts, I can't wait to give that a try! While staying overnight in Fresno, our group of three decided to stop into this popular 'point-point' Filipino restaurant in Fresno, California for some homecooked style Filipino food. We found the proprietors/owners to be very helpful and friendly, the portions to be large and prices to be reasonable, and the food to be decent but much of it suffering a bit due to us dining towards the end of the day. It is open 8 am to 9 pm, every day of the week. We came around 6 pm on a Sunday. The food is pre-prepared and displayed behind glass, where one can choose to populate 1 ($8.99), 2 ($13.99), or 3 ($18.99) entree plates, coming with a choice of rice or pancit noodles. Unlike other places, each entree is a full serving: one 2 entree plate and one 1 entree plate was more than enough for the three of us. The food tasted a lot better than it looked: it would be worth tasting it again freshly made. My pork dish was a little spicy, with really great flavor but extremely greasy. The chicken adobo consisted of only dark-meat drumsticks. We finished our meal by sharing a halo-halo, which was great (they have a dedicated ice grinder). Plenty to share between us. read more

Lovely mom and pop restaurant. The gentleman who helped us was so kind. He explained all of the dishes and let us try them. You can tell this is something he does for his customers all the time. This was our first time trying Filipino food so we appreciated his hospitality. The adobo chicken was very flavorful and tender. I ordered the 3 choices, which came with rice/pansit, dinuguan, pakbet, and afritada. The pansit and pakbet were bland, the dinuguan was lacking flavor, and the afritada was sweet. Price: 4/5. The staff were super nice and greeted us and seated us right away. The food was OK, it was bland and the pancit did not have much flavor or any vegetables, chicken or pork. We wanted to try some of the other foods but it didn't seem like they were heated enough because the fat had started to congeal on top. There was no steam coming from the warming containers. I am waiting to go for breakfast and try the garlic rice and tocino as I had in Montalban and Cebu many years ago. It is a small place tucked in the back of the strip mall. No frills Filipino food served cafeteria style. all the entrées are served with either rice or pancit. We ordered five dishes and they were all delicious. We had a jackfruit, spicy dish, a sweet pork dish, a dish with liver, and a couple other things. The people working there were very friendly and accommodating, and took their time to explain all the dishes and even turned off the news and put on some nice Filipino music while we were in there. The cons are that it is a place mainly set up for takeout. Everything was served in plastic and on paper plates, so if you're looking for a sit down place with a waiter and a dining experience, this is not the place. they had some very cool looking Filipino desserts and drinks that I'm hoping to try the next time I go. read more

I went to get it shortly later. Arrived & greeted! Kind workers! Order was almost ready. They had teasers walking in. I added to the order. "Sweet Banana Bliss! Yum! Paid for it bagged and received. Found out the guy that took the order was the owner and he wasn't even there. Just helping them from afar. Very nice inside. Many tables, buffet set up and a lot of red. . Lunchtime! Order split. Spinach coconut veggie was different, but DELICIOUS and flavorful! Small hint of the coconut flavor with the spinach. The chicken curry was GREAT too. Still had the bones, but didn't matter. Food here is amazing! It's like having to come over my Tita's house. Food is fresh and owners are just amazing. Their siomai reminds me of the Kowloon siomai back home. You can tell I love em from the amount I get. Freshly made everyday. Add some soy sauce and calamansi and just thank me later. I was told they are going to sell our filipino crispy lechon. I heard about this place on Yelp. Been wanting to try and finally got the chance to cus I was around the area! They have really good reviews and I can see why. The place was quiet & empty when I came. It was a man behind the counter and a lady in the back. They had a good amount of options to choose from. I didn't know what to pick cus I only knew of adobo and pancit lol. Lucky for me, the man was very patient and explained to me everything and even gave me a couple of taste samples. I think he can tell I couldn't figure out the taste even after he explained lol. Like the peanut butter one I was confused about, but he let me sample it and it tasted ok. I really wanted to try that taro leave mix I think with coconut milk?? I seen it in other places too but never tried a sample. I got the 2 item combo and it came with ur choice of rice or pancit. I got the noods.I ended up going with pork adobo and this pork hock?? I honestly don't remember what it was called but it was juicy and braised. Love the gristle lol. It was seasoned well. The pancit was good too. I really liked their pork adobo. They also carry a bunch of desserts and dessert drinks. I wanna try the halo halo next time! They were sold out of pancit so all we got was rice. There is plenty of seating but we took our food to go. Got home and was disappointed to see that the container of chicken adobo was only filled halfway. I want to give them credit for making many dishes available, but to be honest, the chicken adobo - a signature Filipino dish - was kind of bland. It was a little on the sweet side and didn't have the vinegar-y tang you expect with adobo. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but it's worth a try.
