Chow mein with double protein, $13 Crispy chicken & BBQ chicken sticks
Klare V.

Mr Le's definitely a top spot when you're craving Chinese food in Fresno. Always make it a point to stop by when I'm in town. Their food is consistently fresh, flavorful and never greasy. Their chow mein is delicious with thick noodles and cooked to perfection. The proteins are absolutely bomb!! My favorites are the crispy chicken sticks and the orange chicken. They're packed with flavor and cooked perfectly every time. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any combo you choose here and all their proteins are delicious. Another thing I love is the value. The prices are very reasonable, especially in today's economy. I got a plate with double protein for just $13. Great food, great prices & great customer service! Always so friendly and helpful with helping to decide which combos to get! Try Mr Le's, you'll love it!

Finally tried Mr. Les Chinese Food truck on Shaw and the hype is definitely real. The line was long, but honestly worth the wait. The BBQ chicken stick was super juicy and full of flavor. The noodles were tasty, but the spicy orange chicken was hands down the best dish of them all. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and the customer service was really good even with how busy they were. Definitely one of those spots I'll keep coming back to.

1ST OF ALL- Customer service was better than most restaurants. You can tell they care about their customers and quality of the food. They make you feel like family. These chinese food trays were a huge hit! I'm so glad we went with MR. LE'S instead of a taco truck. Everyone loved it!! People kept going back for seconds, and some of our guests even took food home! We had to hide a plate food so we can enjoy the next day! The party trays are a good value, reasonably priced and portions were generous. Chowmein & orange chicken was the most popular but everything was really good. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This food truck offers fresh and consistently satisfying flavors with generous portions. In addition to individual meals, they also offer family trays and catering options, making it easy to share or bring to a party. The conveniency of it all is that you can place orders for family tray within the same day for pick-up. Favorite of all time has to be the crispy chicken leg, chow main & charred serrano peppers They are friendly and efficient even with busy hours. They are always helpful especially over the phone to ensure they have our orders correct. They operate a couple days out of the week and is located on the corner of Shaw/Blackstone & on Tuesday you can catch them at the Cherry Auction. They are set up in front of lifestyle furniture with ample of parking spaces & table benches to dine on. Casual & lively, community-focused setting that makes grabbing a quick meal is convenient and enjoyable.

My company ordered 6 trays from Mr Le's for a birthday luncheon. All I have to say is that the food was fire! Everything came out so good & tasty. The chowmein was super delicious, you can just tell it was freshly made. I would give them a 10/10. You must try it if you haven't, you won't be disappointed. I couldn't even get a before picture because everyone was digging in.

So if you've been to Cherry Auction I'm sure you're familiar with Mr. Le's! One of my fond childhood memories is one when my grandfather used to work at Cherry and would bring home a styrofoam box with Chinese food wrapped in a rubber band and you can just see the chow mein coming out of the box. I haven't had Mr. Le's again since recently when we did a yard sale at Cherry Action the beginning of 2024. We had a space infront of the row they were located and I was just impressed at how the lines were so long from when they open to when the swap meet closed, the line didn't slow down throughout the day it was busy and the line literally wrapped around. We had ordered chow mein, orange chicken and broccoli beef and crispy chicken at that time and it was okay, the orange chicken had a strong orange flavor that I wasn't used to. The crispy chicken is hands down my favorite!!! It's crunchy and the flavor of the batter is amazing! Then they announced that they were going to be parking their truck in front of Lifestyles Furniture on Shaw. Decided to go back and give them another try. It's cash only and they offer a variety of combo meal options with bases and protein ranging from $9-$11. They also serve family trays $40 and Mondays they do BOGO 2trays for $60. It's ALOT of food! After my visit when they first started parking on Shaw everything tasted so much better!!! The chow mein, fried rice, the bbq chicken, crispy chicken, the broccoli is my absolute favorite and I randomly get cravings of their food! Food is served hot, fast and fresh. Largely portioned without breaking the bank. I've returned a few times over the years to fullfill my Mr. Le's Chinese food cravings. They also provide catering!! I catered my daughter's 2nd bday with them last year and everything was delicious and you can't beat their pricing!!! Catering Chinese food anywhere else would have cost significantly more for the quantity. They also give 20 free egg rolls with orders over $150 but I was given an option of extra chow mein or spicy shrimp. It's definitely a win-win. The ladies that are taking orders are nice. Jamie is the owner/daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Le (original owners) and she's also very kind. Family owned and the original local chinese food truck. You can find them on IG (@mrleschinesefood) where you can see their schedules and menu. If you haven't tried I do recommend. They serve so much delicious food for cheap.

We drove 45 minutes for this food... and it was 10/10. So fresh and flavorful. Plus It's kiddo approved. We got the 40$ family tray and it's so worth it. We will definitely be back for more ! They are busy so definitely expect a little wait but trust me it's worth it ! Loved that they had shaded table benches available while we waited and then to enjoy our food on after.

So easy & simple to order

We were seated almost right away, which was a great start to the experience. We ordered several dim sum dishes, including the Pork Barbecue Buns, Custard Buns, Deep Fried Taro, Pork Siu-Mai, and Fried Squid, and every single item was delicious. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well made. The servers were also friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our meal. Overall, a great first visit, and I'd definitely come back again!

Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

The food the service, and the atmosph, ere were all wonderful!…read more My husband and I both had The family dinner but with different entrees. The family dinner comes with a bowl of sizzling rice soup, An egg roll a pot sticker and foil wrapped chicken. My entree was crispy beef and my husband's entree was Kung pao chicken. Start off the soup was very flavorful, Definitely not your ordinary soup that you would find in the most places to start. The egg roll was a straight veggie roll but it was crispy and flavorful. The pot sticker was probably one of the best I've had in town, The wrapper was not too thick, Silky, Slightly crispy, And the filling was light and delicious not heavy. The Foil wrapped chicken Was different than any other place in that it was lighter and not overburdened with a salty sauce. As far as the entrees, My crispy beef was amazing, So crispy, With a delicious sauce. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so tasty, Everything was fresh and the chicken was not dry. The only downside to our entrees was that they were listed as spicy, But I think you have to ask for really spicy if you look like you can't handle it or something I don't know it just wasn't spicy at all. But we will definitely return and maybe ask for real spicy next time LOL.

I called them the day before I needed the trays. The lady I spoke to was so kind and accommodating she said it was never too late to place an order. I ordered half tray of broccoli beef and one veggie chow mein she gave me my price after tax and gave me the option to pay in person or over the phone. The day of pick up was NYE 5pm my husband was the one who picked up my order under my name. He arrived promptly at 5pm and said the food wasn't ready 5mins after 5pm he said he was about to leave. Literally a 16min drive from the restaurant to my house then another 14min drive to the Nye party we were attending. Upon arrival the food was still piping hot, it smelled AMAZING and they gave sooooo much food!!! It was nearly packed in trays with foil in a box and the food was piled high. I did notice that the veggie chow mein I had ordered was a combo-chicken, beef, shrimp and veggie, no biggie!!! But the food was delicious as always!!! There was so much leftovers. I would definitely use them again for my catering needs.

There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.
