I have a 1997 Volkswagen Cabrio with a ton of sentimental value and had gone through Hell with another local shop when a friend recommended The Phoenix to me. Now this friend is a pain; very high standards, extremely critical, basically almost alway unhappy with the products or service he gets so when he said The Phoenix was good I started to take my car there. He was right. They're fantastic. When Mike says they will work on the car on Tuesday, they do. That it'll be done Thursday, it is. For this much money, that's what it is. I mean, this is an old car, but The Phoenix is able to get parts and turn it around in a couple days--completely different than my experiences with other shops. I had an issue with the passenger side window and it cost me almost $900 at one place; had the same issue with the driver side window and The Phoenix did the same fix--for less than half that. They do excellent repairs, offer advice on what to think about doing in the near term and for future consideration. An example was the 100,000 mile recommendations of Audi which I had time and money to do at 95,000 miles. They tried to convince me that to wait was best for the 100 K. I had purchased an extended car warranty when I purchased my 2013 Audi Q5 from 411 Cars. The Phoenix was very easy to work with. They made all the calls to the warranty place to receive payment and get approvals. They did what they said they would do and met the time frame stated which was a reasonable amount of time. Went here for an oil change. They said I need Front Sway Bar Links replaced and control arms replaced and together that would cost around $950. Took the car to two other shops including the volvo dealership. Neither one said that control arms need any work. Got everything fixed at another shop for $173.22 You decide. read more

My 41-year-old 1975 MGB had an unknown electrical problem. Turned out to be the electronic ignition, an early version with an external box.
