First thought.... Beautiful space! This hotel bar is very well decorated. Such attention to detail and class. Just what Colorado Springs needs, a place that can impress visitors as well as be enjoyed by locals. I expected the drinks to be expensive, I was wrong. My cocktail was $6.50. The cocktails on the menu average $11. The Food Bar Menu looked really reasonable also, though I did not order anything. For the beer drinkers, there are MANY beers on tap. The bartenders were nothing less than perfect! Welcoming, professional, and tentative! Such great service! Come check out this gorgeous new location. I will definitely be back!

Upscale hotel bar. Generally good service. Old school feel. Can get busy if an event in hotel. Lots of seating. Hotel needs an update.

Thank you Holly for taking care of us!…read more I have been to Ryze a few times now and enjoy spending time here. You can't beat the views and the food and drinks are great. When you first review the menu, it will seem like most of it is smaller portions or small bites but I've never left here hungry. From my most recent visit, I had the adobo chicken, it came on 3 drumsticks. I was hesitant to order it because drum sticks can be messy and I had on a lighter color outfit. Happy to say the chicken easily came off the bone with a fork and was tasty. Be sure to book a reservation because it can get busy!

My wife and I came here just for no particular reason other than we wanted to try it. I had no…read moreexpectations, but even if I had they would've been exceeded. First, walking in, it feels upscale. Not to the point of being uncomfortable, but everyone there was dressed nicely, particularly for Colorado Springs. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are relatively small, which explains why you basically need a reservation if you want to spend some time there. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. He explained some of the food and drink options for us and we took our pick. Overall the food was quite good. The burger was exceptional, and cooked perfectly. The crudité is tasty, but nothing all that special. The adobo chicken is good, but not adobo at all. The drinks though... For my first drink I opted for an Old Fashioned. It's become my go-to drink for higher end restaurants and lounges... and Ryze knocked it out of the park. After I finished my drink, about midway through my meal, I was craving something a bit different and ordered a Ryze from the Ashes. Holy. Friggin'. Moly. Different indeed. I've never tasted anything like it, and so I don't really know how to explain it, but "from the ashes" is very appropriate. It has a strong smoky flavor to it which, I'm willing to bet, would pair nicely with a cigar. It also paired nicely with the burger and fries that I had, thankfully. If you're driving north on Cascade there's parking just before the building, so you can dip right in there and then just walk in, get your card from the front desk guy, and be on your way.

I will say we sat under the stairs so lady... be careful you can see right up peoples outfits when they are coming down. Should definitely consider tinting those windows. Food was delicious but large portions. Great if you are super hungry but for two girl friends we had a lot of extras. We ordered the: Garlic Truffle Fries Brussel Sprouts Artisan Bread Whiskey Sticky Ribs Bison Short Ribs Delicious but the ribs and fries were definitely my favorites... brussels sprouts were a close second. Waitress was great, made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommended coming here for a cute date night! Very dimly lite though so bring your glasses!! Overall 4.5 / 5 stars!

If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.

Once mixed together, the yolk coats everything into a delicious fresh dense bowl that's deeply satisfying without feeling too heavy. The crispy calamari was a great, light, crunchy meal. The octupus pieces were thick and paired well with the sweet chili sauce. The breading wasn't distracting but rather adding to the flavor. The thai chili salmon plate was bright and fresh, with a nice balance of glaze, greens, and noodles. Overall, higher quality for lower price. We will be returning. Cocktails were just as thoughtful as the food -- vibrant, fruity, sweet, and beautifully presented. If you come here, order the Seoul Bowl. Nice drinks, and others I have dined with here have loved everything from their noodle bowls, burgers, and ravioli to satay and the always-special Korean tacos on those soft, pleasant bao buns. Fresh Prince for dessert is a must. 503W is always at the top of my list, and I can't wait to go again. Oh, it has a great ambience, too - both inside and on-street seating.
