A very beachy vibe and decor restaurant which is a nice touch since it's a seafood restaurant. Passed by a million times but never had the chance to stop by. Service was quick with a friendly staff. The menu isn't huge but has a bit of everything. We had the crab cakes, def loaded with crab and no fillers. The lobster roll was nice and buttery, scallops were cooked perfectly. No chewiness, many places tend to over cook them but not here. Cool little spot for a date night or family lunch. Not too spacious inside but the food was worth it. Tad on the pricy side but the seafood felt fresh enough that it wasn't a complaint. I'll def come back and try other things.

This was our first time here and we made the reservation an hour or so before going. The food was fantastic. The service was great, our server was friendly and personable. Ambiance was good, was just a little hot/humid inside, but given the weather it was understandable. The Rhode Island calamari was delicious. I loved the sweet chili sauce. The lobster roll was one of the best I've had outside of Boston. I don't usually eat bread, so I just had the meat and my husband ate the roll and said it was good. He also had the fish and chips and loved it. Love that it's BYOB. Great date night spot. We'll definitely be back.

We really like the pier. The staff was incredibly kind and the service was great. The food was also very tasty. The mahi tacos were excellent and very full. I'd say the lobster roll. Could've been a little bit more packed, but still very good and tasted like good quality lobster. My son had the fish sticks and he ate all of them which was excellent. Everything was tasty and fresh.

Jersey Shore quality seafood right here in Park Ridge. The Pier looks like it would right at home in any Jersey Shore town. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Parking can be rather difficult as there aren't many parking spots. We started with the Lobster Bisque which was excellent! Nice and creamy with deep Lobster and Sherry flavors. I wish they had a Lobster bomb option for the Bisque. For our entrees we had the Cod Father and the fish and chips. The Cod Father was broiled Cod, Scallops and Shrimp in a Butter and Garlic sauce with a Ritz cracker crust. It came with a choice of 2 sides, I went with the Caesar salad and the steak fries. The fries are great dipped in the garlic butter. Everything was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying more of the menu.

A small but mighty place. All the food is fresh and made on premise. Great lobster roll and a nice assortment of dishes. Has a great take out and a good size dine in area. Chris is super friendly and is on top of everything.

A tiny secret of a restaurant with about 6 tables so make a reservation. Hands down the best coconut shrimp ever. Now that we got that out of the way, the food is excellent. The broiled cod father will make your mouth sing with a delicious butter sauce and ritz cracker topping. The service is laidback but very quick. It's a byob so grab your friends, a bottle of wine and make a reservation.

So from the outside it doesn't seem like much, definitely a low key vibe which reminds you of a beach shack, not fancy, but the best seafood! We decided to go there for a birthday luncheon, it's BYOB which is perfect us! The food is phenomenal, the clam chowder and lobster bisque is absolutely delicious! My gf is from Maine and she loved the chowder! The lobster roll (warm with butter) was so tasty! My other gf said their fish and chips are the best around! The service is very friendly and accommodating! The lemon cake and chocolate mousse cake were so good and not too sweet! Also I ordered dinner to go and it did not disappoint even after reheating! Definitely give this place a try, you will enjoy it!

The ambiance was nice, it was clean and some delightful plants adorned the outdoor space. We ordered the Aegean Salad, the Calamari appetizer and the whole fish/branzino as a shared main. The restaurant includes olives and grilled pita and it's served warm. The combo of the salad and the pita was really nice, the salad ingredients were fresh and lovely. The Calamari was equally as fresh and the oils and seasoning were pretty much perfect and again eating it with the pita was a real treat. The grilled branzino was cooked perfectly and simply put one of the best pieces of fishes i've had. The fish came with a side of stewed veggies that were absolutely delicious and honestly the veggies alone are worth a return trip. i can easily see why the reviews are so positive for Aegean Estiatorio, it was truly an excellent meal, especially at a time where prices are so high and one is forced to question the value, this restaurant is really an exception. Lastly, the service was also spot on, we were well cared and treated with professionalism.

We called it last minute for table for 2 outdoor or inside they said unfortunately only outdoors because inside is totally booked and we were okay with that but we realize it was pretty empty when we got there by the time we left too it wasn't full inside either so that leaves us with disappointment and not fully honesty in my book and I don't appreciate that. Service was okay and ambiance around good as well. Portions are a little smaller for huge plates making it look empty. We didn't have dessert I wasn't up for it.

I say reluctantly because they tried hard…read moreto be attentive, but fell short and the food, while priced like a high end steakhouse also fell short and this is why. First the positives. Lovely atmosphere. The staff was polite and kind. The manager stopped by to chat and check in. The folks with me who ate the strip steak enjoyed it. It was tasty and cooked perfectly as they requested. That's good considering it IS a steakhouse. The negatives. It is not always the case that everyone in the party likes steak or likes every steak. So a good steakhouse will do the other options exceptionally well too. Particularly the meat. Here, they did not. I like ribeye. That's my favorite. They only offer a 24 oz ribeye, however, and since none of my peeps wanted ribeye (curses on them) I was up a creek. I don't like strip or filet. Didn't want pork. But I do LOVE a wedge salad, and few places have one. Steakhouses generally do. So I was quite happy to have one. Until I had it. They did not do it well. At all. First, the bacon... while it clearly began as a few lovely generous lardons, ended up four over cooked, hard as rocks bacon chunks. The chicken was dry and terribly overcooked. Hard on the edges. I would expect a steakhouse to get the grilled chicken breast correct. And the bacon is inexcusable. When the salad costs $30, you have to nail it. Could I have sent it back? I'm sure I could have. But looking at the neighbors' table, theirs looked the same so I figured what's the point. And I didn't want to be a Karen about a salad in a steakhouse. And I wasn't holding up my table's meal for a redo on a salad. At the end of the day, if you don't get something this simple correct, it is a fail. I'm sorry to say that. Truly. But it requires addressing. There are too many other options for good steak that do these non-steak elements right too.

Bellissimo: Please Stop Rushing Us!…read more Bellissimo is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I've probably eaten here close to 100 times over the last 15+ years, and I probably take my family here a couple times per month. The food is good, prices are fair and you absolutely can't beat their lunch special deal (soup, salad and your entree for a set price). However, I was somewhat annoyed after my last visit. It was our last lunch before sending my daughter off to college. We were eating our first course, the soup, when someone came over to anxiously clear off plates. Two people finished their soup, but another two were still eating at the table. This drives me nuts. I wish they'd just wait until everyone finishes a course before clearing. What happened next is what set me over the edge. People came out with our salads and one guy was trying to take my daughter's soup away while she was still eating it. After we stopped him, he then wanted to just squeeze it on the table beside her. Sheesh. I was so annoyed and didn't understand why they're rushing us. There were only 5 tables of customers there for lunch that day. What was the F'ing rush?! Our waiter, who has been there for years, blamed it on some new kitchen waiter they got. Regardless, it ruined the meal and we didn't even get the main courses yet. That general culture here of anxiously clearing plates away has always annoyed me. I wish they'd wait for everyone at the table to finish a course before clearing for the next one. I still love Bellissimo and will definitely be back. But please... let us eat!

I ordered from the special menu the stuffed pork chop on the bone, wow mind blowing. Mushroom, roasted potatoes, a big old chop stuffed with Mozzarella cheese in a tomato ragu. Totally delicious, and so big i think all we needed was a side of pasta to make it a winning dish. I end up ordering a full order of linguini in clam sauce aling with the chop and the wife and I ate like royalty!. The meal was excellent, the waiter was nice to bring us a bday platter with fresh stiffed mini cannoli !

This past weekend, we had a chance to experience something a little different -- a private event my cousin hosted there for his 30th birthday -- and it was fantastic. The event was a seated, sit-down dinner at the market, which isn't something they typically do, but they executed it really well. The evening started with passed appetizers (all delicious, as expected) and a table full of charcuterie. For dinner, my cousin opted for a seated "steak sampling" experience -- almost Brazilian steakhouse-style -- featuring tastings of five different cuts. There was also shrimp scampi served family-style, along with sides like roasted potatoes. Even with varying preferences for steak doneness across the group, they did an impressive job accommodating everyone. Huge props to the B&M team for pulling off something outside their usual offerings so seamlessly. This was my first time in the market itself, and it looked great -- clearly a great destination for quality meats and prepared foods. If I lived closer, I'd absolutely be a regular and would use them for catering for myself. Looking forward to more events with their food in the future!
