Looked at yelp to see what is popular here and decided to go with the boudin balls and taco sampler. The boudin balls are a must. Flavorful, n not to crispy. Both dipping sauces were great with it, a mustard sauce and a sweet sauce which I cant tell what it was. The sweet pickle was also excellent. The taco sampler which was; 1 brisket, 1 pulled pork, n 1 chicken taco were delicious. Great balance of meat n coleslaw mango concoction. I would highly recommend. This place came up on Yelp while we were looking for a spot for dinner. So glad! Great BBQ restaurant in a college town. The pulled pork nachos were so good and the ribs fabulous. Great sauce and very moist. The brisket was rather dry but had a very nice smokey flavor. Very casual with pick nick tables outside and a small area inside. If you are looking for a roll up your sleeves Barbecue joint that is off the beaten path. This is your place. I got the smocked pulled chicken sandwich that tasted like it was smoked for days. The sandwich didn't have any sauce on it but you have the choice of three sauces on your table to sauce up to your liking. The Ribs looked delicious and the people sitting next to me gave their thumbs up. They had a pretty small bar. I highly recommend this place for a quick lunch because you order at the counter and then the food is delivered to your table. This almost seems like a place that Guy Fieri would roll into. Chose this restaurant as my bbq stop in Mississippi because it was the "up and coming" spot. There were some good things to experience here. Even though pig is their claim to fame, the brisket was the best thing on the menu. Great smoke flavor and very moist. The app of pimento cheese was great. The collard greens were also really good. I was disappointed to not get the pork belly corn dogs because they weren't serving pork belly due to the spike in bacon prices. Great beer selection. The bad news-the pork ribs. Very disappointing. I think they were cooked many hours before we had them. Gotta love places that sell until sold out, its the only way to give customers the freshest bbq. Friendly staff. read more

This was good bbq and a good selection of beers. I got the fried green tomato and bacon sandwich and the pork rinds. The sandwich was great but the rinds were a little stale. My brother in law said that they were usually fresh. I tried heating them up when I got home but that didn't help. read more

The ribs were not tender at all. 3 minutes after I ordered, the ribs came out. Which was great as far as speedy service, but I can tell it was already cooked and had been sitting out a while. The collard greens tasted like vinegar, and the Mac and cheese tasted like easy Mac and the noodles weren't done! The fries were very salty and not done all the way. We ate here because it had high reviews, but it was not good. Maybe we're just used to REALLY good barbecue. Or there aren't a lot of really good barbecue in the area, so it's the best 'here'. Had the taco sampler, it was delicious but more than I could eat on my own. I especially liked the mango coleslaw on the pork taco but just a heads up that it has cilantro for those who don't like it. My husband was happy with his pulled pork sandwich. To drink I had the peach mango tea which was unsweetened the way I like it. Outside there were picnic tables, a large jenga and corn hole. It would be a neat place to hang out and have a few beers. The place is not very well marked by the street and the outside of the building looks a little sketchy. read more

The husband and I split a half rack of ribs with fries, potato salad and beans. VERY GOOD! The ribs were tender and meaty and the potato salad was cool and refreshing. The fries were hand-cut and crisp. The beans were not my personal favorite, but I still enjoyed the flavor. read more

Had some great, great food at the Pig and Pint tonight. My wife and I shared the pig belly corn dogs and a plate of pulled pork nachos. The corn dogs were definitely the best corn dogs I've ever had (I usually don't like them very much), and the nachos were delicious, pilled high with tender, juicy pulled pork and alllll the fixin's. Just a little hole in the wall but was excellent food. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Lots of homebrew beer. We had nachos and they were amazing. Would definitely eat there again. Traveling on business and stopped by for lunch after searching for Boudin Balls near me. The food was great but what IMPRESSED me most was the service after a very minor issue arose. Always an excellent place to eat. We have only experienced one issue here, and that was with one of our to-go orders that we waited over 20 minutes for. The brisket sandwich is awesome, and the ribs are to die for. The bread pudding is my favorite part of the meal, though. With an EatJxn card, you can get BOGO dessert. I enjoy sitting outside on the large picnic tables when the whether permits. Usually some good draft beer options. We went there for an early supper about 5pm neither of us had eaten all day and we were starving. First off I want to say that I used to compete in BBQ back a few years ago so I know BBQ and was a chef for over 40 years so I know the restaurant biz. I had draft beer from their wonderful selection and it was great. We got our food the sides the smoked mac & cheese and the smokehouse beans were really good I had French Fries and the smokehouse beans the fries were fresh cut but limp I guessed they only cooked them from raw and didn't blanch fry them then cool them cook them till crispy. As I said before the beans were really good. On to the meat my wife's smoked chicken was great, moist tender, a fair amount of smoke, and enough salt. I had the half slab of ribs with choice of of two I got pulled pork and the brisket. I don't know where where they get their ribs but normally a rack has 10-13 ribs my half had 4 bones we called those 8 bone cheater racks and where way overcooked I think they had them in the warmer so long they steamed and got mushy, the pulled pork was done well just needed more smoke and salt and the brisket was the same plus it suffered from the same over done problem as the ribs this is what led me to think it was kept in the warmer to long (first ones in last ones out) The portions were huge we had enough for a snack and sandwiches the next day. I know the problems of running a restaurant that is why I gave you 4 stars so we will be back hope it is better then this time. read more
