One of my favorites when I'm in the area. We tend to try and come here during off hours because the seating is limited, especially indoors and the parking is even more limited. But if you can find a spot to park and sit, you are in for a treat. My significant other tends to try and eat Keto as much as possible, so this place is like a dream to him. More places should seriously consider serving pork rinds with queso and pimento cheese. My favorite go to is the taco sampler plate and I have a hard time choosing between the options, but I usually go for the brisket, fried green tomato and pulled pork and they are so good and full of flavor, I savor each bite. Great atmosphere, great people, very nice, friendly and helpful. Great variety on the menu but unfortunately the food itself is not very good. Tough over cooked ribs, dry pulled pork, and as a non Mississippi native I understand it is probably okay by MS standards. But honestly as far as good BBQ goes everything about the food here is sub par. Sad too, Jackson and MS need good bbq. Lucked into this place after trying to go to Luck Town brewery. I scored some of their beers here. The place is loud and small, but that's a good thing. It's probably awesome when it's warmer and you can sit outside. The bbq was good but on the high price side. We split the sampler and walked away full. It's hard to go wrong at this bbq spot, it also has a good vibe. When I want some good smoked wings I usually end up here. I have tried the Memphis Style Smoked wings, Asian Style Smoked wings and Hot BBQ. I must say, I liked them all. The smoked chicken sandwich BBQ pork sandwich were also good. If you want a full meal of good Smokey with a touch of sweet and tasty meal I highly recommend the Pepsi Cola Glazed Baby Back Ribs. They have a different taste from any other ribs in the area. The customer service here has always been good to me also. In the near future I plan to try the deserts, I'm sure they're good also. read more

This is the best restaurant in all of Jackson! We love the patio (which is dog friendly!) and the craft beer selection is always top notch. Pig and Pint is by far the best BBQ in Jackson!! I always get the pulled pork sandwich with fries and fried green tomatoes! It's so much food, but the FGT are worth it. Great vibe, friendly folks, and a cool modern feel to the barbecue options on the menu. I felt that the prices were a little high for the portion sizes and that the flavor was decent, but not as good as I hoped. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I thought the fried green tomatoes were lackluster-- not very crunchy on the exterior and they needed copious amounts of sauce to provide flavor. I opted for the brisket sandwich on brioche as my entree and it looked amazing. Perfectly toasted brioche, drizzle of BBQ sauce, and brisket with a nice smoke ring sitting neatly arranged. It tasted OK-- the meat, though it looked moist, was disappointingly dry, though the sauces they have are really, really good. We love Pig & Pint and were so happy they are offering to go orders during this crazy time of Coronavirus. Our food was amazing, as always, and packaged well. The Fondren Fries are to die for and they packaged all the topping separately so it's not just a big soggy mess by the time you get home to eat. That was VERY appreciated! We will keep doing to go orders for now and can't wait to be able to dine in again when this is over. We often bring out if state guests here when they visit and everyone is impressed.
