On my actual wedding day I loved everything she did, and my new husband said I looked like a movie star! I liked the trial looks when we did them, and Tiffany genuinely listened and understood what I wanted to tweak. When the big day came and we had the details set from the beginning, everything came out looking even better. She specializes in a natural-but-enhanced look and really nailed it - I didn't feel or look like I was caked in makeup, I just looked like the absolute best version of myself! Trying to find pictures to include here I struggled to find ones that seemed like they were showing off the makeup - but that's kind of the point. The makeup wasn't super showy (exactly as I wanted), it just made me look really great in every picture! And this is from someone who often doesn't like pictures of myself. The other artists she brought for our officiant and moms (both in the pictures I'm including) also did a great job. They handled mature skin, thick/unruly hair, and curls beautifully. I've never seen my mom's shoulder length curly hair look so good! They were also great company all morning, which is so important.

When I politely expressed that I didn't like the makeup look, she got visibly frustrated, placing her arm on her waist in an unprofessional manner. Any requests for adjustments were met with reluctance and annoyance. After deciding that I didn't want her to do my makeup but would still proceed with her services for my other family members, she canceled the contract herself. While she's technically not obligated to return the retainer fee, she told me she would -- but never did. That lack of follow-through was very disappointing and unprofessional. Also, be aware that her contract does not allow cancellations due to dissatisfaction within 60 days of your event, so if you're considering a trial, make sure to do it well in advance. I would not recommend her based on this experience.

I was looking for a makeup artist for my wedding…read moreand unfortunately, my venue didn't have many preferred vendors to suggest so I took to Yelp. Thank GOD I found Kimberly! I first met her for my trial run, which was very reasonable price wise - although I was prepared to drive to her, she came all the way to my apartment (I'm roughly 45 minutes away from her, on the Peninsula) with her full makeup kit. During the trial, she was very easy to talk to and made me comfortable. We only had to do one run through because she so closely created the image I had in my head that I didn't want anything else! On the spot, I asked her to send me a contract and how much I needed to pay for the deposit. The whole time, between our first contact and the day of, she was incredibly responsive and helpful to my questions and requests, which is something that helps the bride immensely. It was really comforting to know that with everything going on, I didn't have to worry about this aspect of it. The day of, she was very timely (she even apologized because she arrived to our hotel MAYBE 3 minutes after she said she would, which I hadn't even realized at all!) and had set up a good schedule so that she could get my bridesmaid's and my makeup done by the time we needed to leave for the venue. The whole time, she was very engaging with all of us and, again, made me feel very comfortable (as we all know, it can be pretty awkward with a stranger so up close to your face). The finished product of both myself and my bridesmaids? I really couldn't have asked for a better look for us all. It was very neutral/natural, which was what I was going for - it wasn't cakey or over the top, but there was enough to know we did have makeup on. And what was great is she catered to everyone's features and needs so while we all looked uniform and matching, each girls' good features were accentuated as needed. Overall, I would give Kimberly more than 5 stars if I could! She's very affordable, especially considering that she will come to your venue to eliminate the stress of traveling. I was married last year and met Kimberly at a wedding fair. Immediately after meeting her and reviewing her portfolio of pictures at her booth I instantly knew she was the gal for the job. I thought it was going to take me FOREVER to find someone up to my standards to do my make-up and hair, luckily it was not the case. Hands down she was my favorite vendor.
