My buddy and I visited a few years ago when this place was still The Perfect Pita ... We each were in a pita mood and ordered and they were quite enjoyable! I remember i got one of the veggie hummus ones. It has just recently rebranded and updated, though you still see some of the old signage around. With the updates have come a few (just a few) new items, including flan. I envy the people who have access to this little cafe because the pitas are hearty and allegedly the coffee is really good. They have plenty of salads, veggie cups, and desserts as well. I see that other regulars have mentioned the price going up here, but to me this is relatively inexpensive. What they charge $10 for, I see some places charge $15. I think it is a nice cafe to have in the area and I wish them success with their latest rebrand. Hope they do well! read more

This is in the building where I work. The food is good. It can be a bit pricey but in the pinch it's a good alternative. The restaurant is always clean the staff is always friendly and the customer service is always great. I didn't actually know they had an app so if you download the app you do get points and that way you can use some of those points and take a few dollars off of your meal. Although I wouldn't come down here and eat everyday because of the prices but I will definitely come down maybe once or twice a week. read more

Very convenient location, as I work in the building. I have stopped in a few times and enjoy the friendly service. I almost always order a salad, as they are fresh ingredients and great portions. I usually have enough for lunch and dinner! I have also enjoyed a pizza occasionally and love the toppings they offer. I usually have enough to take home as well, as I can't finish the pizza alone. I discovered this place since it is the only place in the building. I have tried it twice for a quick lunch. It's a tricky thing to review the place because I went into this place fully prepared that I will not be getting an impressive lunch so in that sense this place did meet my expectation, it is a good spot to grab a quick and average food when in a rush but if you're looking for a healthy/decent food, not the place. The staff is very friendly and service is fast! It has enough seating inside, it's clean. The prices are a bit high for the food provided but perks of being the only food place in that building. So far, I've tried the veggie/hummus pita and the spinach/chicken melt. I appreciate the fact that they have a variety of vegetarian options, and the food doesn't taste too salty. Although, depending upon the time of day, its hordes of customers can resemble a slice of lemmings seeking Cherry-flavored Pawpsicles in the animated masterpiece Zootopia, Greenbelt, Maryland's location of Perfect Pita offers plenty of menu options. Single-serving pizzas that you can customize to your liking (I chose ham & pineapple, which my wife considers an affront!); pita shells stuffed with chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing (which, of course, I omit); and salads that would entice all of Judy Hopps' siblings, nieces, nephews, first cousins, and second cousins once removed, Perfect Pita will do in a pinch for carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. Only the Gazelle-obsessed Clawhouser would be disappointed: they don't sell donuts. They do sell Baklava, however. Maybe Clawhouser could satisfy his sweet tooth after all! read more

I've been to multiple Perfect Pitas all in northern VA (see my 5 star review of the one in Springfield), and this was my least favorite. I went here today for lunch as I remembered the Wendy's was super slow, and I wasn't that hungry so I didn't feel like Pollo Cabana. Perfect Pita was more my speed today. I go through the shopping center thinking it's behind the Wendy's near Starbucks. I drive around Modell's Sports Goods at the end around the corner. I see a couple of office buildings. I double check my phone, and I looked like it was in one of the buildings. I walk into the Maryland Trade Center building. Pointing at the sign, I tell the security guard I'm here for Perfect Pita. She told me around the corner. I go in and order a combo and made a comment that the price went up. The cashier with a stupid grin said no they haven't to which I said that I hadn't been in a while and never this location. I do give her credit because she did say that I probably got the special last time. I asked what that was, and I said that I was flexible and will take that instead. She asks if I'm getting soda or tea since there is a 10 cent difference. I opted to pay the extra for the sweet tea. Since there were no customers behind me while I was waiting, I told her I thought this was directly behind the Wendy's near the Starbucks. With her stupid grin, she acted like I was crazy and didn't seem to know what I was talking about like as if she didn't know where the Wendy's was. At least unlike the Wendy's, they were fast. The ham & provolene pita was pretty good but not as good as the gyro, which is my usual choice. read more

This is the second time I've had lunch at Perfect Pita and I am not disappointed. While I would not necessarily tell the world about Perfect Pita, I definitely feel like it serves its purpose. I've had both the Chicken Gyro and the Spinach Melt and Chicken Gyro; which are both good, but if I had to choose one over the other I would go with the Chicken Gyro. The two times that I have gone into Perfect Pita the service has been relatively fast, but keep in mind the place was not packed either time I went. The first time there were about 5 people and today no one was there. The customer service is so so and the ladies behind the counter could try smiling every now and then, but maybe I am catching them on a bad day. I certainly plan on grabbing lunch there again, so hopefully the service will improve. read more

The location is awkward, it's the back of office building. Once in the restaurant, if you want to call it that, it's okay. Has a view of the outside. The service is quick, nothing special. I ordered their Gyro, I have had some super good Gyro's, and this one sadly once one of them. Very basic nothing special, besides the crazy amount of onions they put in it. The meat tasted good, but thats about it. I probably will go back just because I never judge a place on one plate of food. read more

I saw some good and mixed reviews for this place at its other locations, so I decided to give it a shot. This place is located on the first floor of the building 7500; as you enter the big parking lot, go to the left side of the building, and find that left side entrance. From there, just go around the right corner and you should be able to find the place. I had the chicken and steak pita. I really think it was the perfect size, not too big and not too small. It was a nice and toasty pita. There was a good amount of chicken and steak in there, combined with tomato, lettuce, onion, and a yogurt mixed sauce. They also have calzone, stramboli, cold cut pita's, and salads. read more

I've enjoy their whit pizzas with the side of hummus, no complaints. Their chicken noodle soup is great during winter, they don't make it as much during the summer. The Navy Bean Soup is the best and seasoned just right. I do enjoy the Gyro's and Hummus as well. You cannot go wrong ordering from here. I just wish that salads would be taking into consideration with the Perfect Customer Card NOT just sandwiches. Please take this into consideration. My co-workers in Greenbelt eats mostly salads. I work in the same building as the Perfect Pita (the building is called the Maryland Trade Center). I eat here on occasion out of sheer necessity. Listen - I know I am not their target audience (gyro-eating, hummus and greek-loving people), but this place is just not for me. There's nothing about this lunch that excites me to go there. I used to only go there because they specifically had Diet Mountain Dew - but now they have gotten rid of their Pepsi case, too! If I do go, I usually get a personal pizza (an average tasting personal pizza) and a cup of soup. The two "soups of the day" never change - it's been chicken noodle and navy bean for as long as I've been going. But hey - if chick peas and grape leaves are your "shtick," then by all means go to this place. But for the rest of you - find a new lunch spot. It's a shame that a building with so many employees has a lunch spot that really isolates so many. They also have an unimpressive egg and cheese breakfast (on a pita, but they will put it on a stale bagel if you ask nicely). The eggs and the meat never usually taste fresh on it, either. My final thought: why couldn't they have just put a deli here!? So sad. read more

Went here for the first time today. Sure it was a little hard to find, but the folks were very nice, the food was fresh and healthy and super quick. What a great find in Greenbelt. BTW, the cookies (yes, I splurged) were to die for - like my Mom used to make. Wow, really good. I did a catered brunch with Gyro, appetizers and deserts - and everything was very tasty. So happy to find a Perfect Pita close to home. I frequent the Springfield location often and used to go to the Alexandria location when I worked there. Steak and Chicken pita is my favorite. My wife really liked the chicken and spinach pita she tried last week. Greenbelt location is really tucked away behind the Greenway Shopping Center but the food is consistently good. read more
