    Onion rings

I'm mistakenly ordered from the greenbelt location. I meant to order from the Beltsville location. Either way the food wasn't good at this location. I just got a fish sandwich and some onion rings. The onion rings didn't seem to be cooked all the way and the fish sandwich was very soggy not good for a sandwich.

Blue Rubber Band in Shrimp & Broccoli. YUCK!!!
    Daphne M.

Yesterday evening (1/23/2022), my fiancé had the unfortunate experience of finding a blue rubber band in his order of Shrimp & Broccoli, after getting home to sit down and eat his carryout order. I warned him against patronizing this place after our last experience, where the Shrimp & Broccoli we ordered had "brown sauce" that looked like brown gelatin! This indicates to me that the food had been sitting for a while. Nevertheless, he decided to give them another chance. After discovering the rubber band, he contacted Kenny's to let them know and was told to "bring the order back". Now I don't know about most folks, but with the price of gas and COVID, who wants to keep running in and out of the house to drive 20 minutes to return an order? My fiancé isn't a "new customer", so they know his name and number, but I guess his "word" about the rubber band wasn't good enough. Long story short, I doubt if he will ever return to this establishment again! I was already "out" after the "brown gelatin"! Warning!! Inspect your food before consuming!! Im forced to give a "star", because they truly don't deserve one!

How have I not discovered this place sooner?! Oh yea, because they were not on Grub Hub haha. But I am glad they were added to the Grub Hub because this place is great!! I ordered delivery. From the time I submitted my order to the time there was a knock on the door was 30 minutes. Amazing!! Does anyone else find that amazing?! When does that ever happen?! Only when you order from Kenny's apparently. And they found my hard to find place without a phone call and were super pleasant. 2 stars for speed and niceness. Now, the food. I got a cheese steak and seasoned fries. The cheesesteak. Omg so good. I mean it's not Gino's from philly but for a MD cheesesteak it was great. Stuffed well. Over flowing actually. Gooey cheese ( I could of done with more but it was ok) and customized exactly as I asked. And cut into 4th so super easy to handle. So 1 point for that. The other point was for mambo sauce!!!! I LOVE mambo sauce and all of its goodness and this so the only place I can get it in my area. The seasoned fries were lack luster. Although they were still warm they were seriously lacking in flavor. Over all a super solid place that has great hours!!

I really liked the menu choices.. The staff are really friendly and the food is prepared pretty quickly.. Prices seem reasonable. I think they are somewhat new to the area. Great place to check out!

READ ME RIGHT NOW EW EW EW EW If I could give zero.. omfg. My boyfriend's family used to order from this place as their go to for chinese. No more. Each time we've ordered we've had to wait AT LEAST 1-1.5 hours before getting our food. This time we ordered at 8:30pm and got our food close to 10pm. Even still we tipped $5 to the delivery guy and proceeded with our horribly late dinner. Low and behold.. my boyfriend finds a small roach looking bug right on top of his pork schezuan. GROSS. After throwing away my food I find a hairy bug leg at the bottom of my dish too. Holy shit I can not be any more disgusted. Imagine that bug was probably alive, they are cooking with the same dishes. The kitchen looked so dirty when we went to show them the bug and ask for a refund. They seemed like finding a bug was no big deal.. oh okay and money back. uhh.. excuse me for these pics but please don't yak.

I will admit I was skeptical when I drove up to park in another hellish mixed use development. It screamed chain and average from the outside, inside...well I was wrong. Nice decor although with a lot of QR codes scaring me (after wrestling for 8 minutes with QR code parking in back) that I might have to order that way too. Again not. We were immediately seated, super friendly server, the menu was super exciting. Authentic Szechuan dishes and some American Chinese, I wanted a lot! Had some great crab/pork soup dumplings, terrific garlic sauce eggplant, and a standout recommended ghost pepper spicy beef dish with celery, snow pea, peppers. Mom got a shrimp lo me-in. A lot of food brought home. Similar with the couple next to us. Hot pots on the menu, whole fish, so much to try. Service is always friendly and fast, and the food is packed with flavor you don't often find elsewhere Konjac Noodle Salad - Sour vinegar flavor with a nice kick. I loved the little konjac noodle bundles -- super bouncy and great at picking up the sauce. It's a perfect summer appetizer: refreshing with crisp veggies like cucumber and carrot but doesn't hold back on flavor. 3.5/5 Sour Soup Dumpling - Delicate skins with a savory pork broth that leans more comforting than sour. The filling falls apart as you bite into it and tastes like a mix of pork and vegetables. Simple, clean flavors 3/5 Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - My favorite dish so far! The broth is beefy, spicy, and rich with depth -- layered flavors that feel satisfying but not overwhelming. The meat was flavorful and chewy with fatty pieces that melt in your mouth. Loved the chewy, knife-cut-style noodles that soak up the broth, and the pickled veggies plus fresh cilantro kept it light and bright. 4.25/5 Cold Rice Noodle with Spicy Fried Chicken - Super sour but well-rounded -- flavorful without being sharp. I usually don't love rice noodles, but these were soft, bouncy, and satisfying. Surprisingly, the fried chicken stayed a bit crisp even in the broth. It's fried in a way that's drier and chewier, but that concentrated the flavor instead of making it actually taste dry. Great summer noodle dish 4/5 Signature Fruit Tea - Definitely on the syrupy side, which I expected, but still decent. Lots of blended fruit flavors -- sweet, slightly artificial, but enjoyable if you're in the mood for something fruity 2.5/5

We have been familiar with the area for years, as my father-in-law lived 3 minutes away, and recently we realized this was his go-to carryout. After 3 visits, I can say it's one of the best in the DMV, thanks to its flavor and food choices. You will find Japanese options like sushi, American-Chinese dishes like orange chicken, similar dishes, and Cantonese food like roast duck, Hong Kong-style noodle soups, and whole fish. They are family-owned and operated. Every time we come, the elder father is always gracious and provides excellent service. The restaurant is always quiet; you can hear conversations in the back, and as customers arrive to pick up their orders, we haven't witnessed any negative interactions. Customers are always happy with their food, and the staff say thank you. The only negative is the space. The building itself is older and outdated. In the summer, it is hot, and now in the winter, there is no heat. They have found ways to make it work, like space heaters on each table, but it can still get uncomfortable if you are dining in. The back area near the bathroom and the bathroom itself need a thorough cleaning. To me, it's a turnoff; it doesn't affect the food, but it does affect the dine-in experience. Again, overall, I love their food and believe it's a local gem worth a try.
