They have a ridiculous policy of not seating parties with any member under 21 after 4pm. No warning.

5 stars all the way around. Inside the restaurant, previously an old adobe church, the ambience is…read moreauthentic and incredible. We sat in the side patio/garden. Beautiful with wild flowers and plantings. Food was to die for. Be sure and get the garlic add on for the rolls. Best rolls we have ever had. Came out piping hot as did the food. Impeccably prepared and beautifully presented. We had Duck Confit with raviolis and mushrooms and broccolini and the Meat macaroni and cheese. Both were off the charts!!! The pasta appetizer will make you swoon. Best meal we have had so far on our 2 week road trip. Do not miss this jewel!!!!!

We have been there twice now and both times it didn't disappoint…read more The staff are mostly young people from Alamosa who have been trained well and are unfailingly pleasant. The food is amazing! We had Arancini- the best either of us have had since being in Italy. Crab cakes were another appetizer we enjoyed but not in the level of the Arancini. The main course (which we spied on the way to our table) was to die for. Duck leg confit with mushroom ravioli and broccolini (perfectly cooked) and a creamy mushroom gravy. It was magnificent. If you're ever in Alamosa for dinner, don't hesitate to stop in. You won't regret it. You might even want to go out of your way to stop here. Two chefs who earned their stripes in NYC returned to Alamosa to try their hands at fine dining in Alamosa. I hope they can continue to do well.

What a great find! We were in town to visit the Colorado…read moresand dunes. The restaurant was very welcoming, the food was great and the drinks were excellent, certainly not what I expected in Alamosa. Little did we know we were entertained with a salsa class on Monday nights!

Multiple items we requested we were told were unavailable…read more I ordered a beverage the first one on the menu with the egg in it and was told that's their best drink, they brought out something else calling it the knock off of what I ordered. I refused the "Knock Off" drink and sent it back. The drinks took over 20 minutes to deliver and restaurant was empty. I ordered the surf and turf Burrito and it had 2 shrimp in it and a few crumbles of carna asada. The rest of the burrito was full of beans and rice. My friend ordered the 3 taco plate and they brought out what looked like a child's plate. Tiny street tacos for $14. Seriously. Thats a joke. My friend asked to order additional food and the waitress took 15 minutes to comeback to take his additional order. At that time he decided to not order anything else. We got charged for a $25 Chile relleno burrito plate when we ordered a $15 dollar burrito not a plate. . We go to pay and I checked the bill, my $12 drink I didn't even touch was on the bill and another item that we did not order was on our bill. $22 of additional items we didn't order was placed on the bill. Had the waitress remove it and we left. The place looks like it could be fun but they literally did everything possible to have us never come back again. Definitely not ever going there again.
