Servers were very sweet. Theme u looks good but only tastes meh. The smell and gaze of smoke filled the restaurant and burned my eyes.

We have a summer place in South Fork and have been coming in to Boogies for quite some time, it's a great local spot, always clean and easy to get in and out with zero issues. I just have never left a review prior for some reason. Portions are large. Quite a few are shareable if your not a big eater, which my husband and I are not. I would say a bit on the pricey side, but that is more the norm for this entire area. read more

The food is not too bad. Prices are high. But the service is terrible. The staff is more concerned with the long time locals that come in. These locals order coffee then sit and shoot the breeze while the staff talks to them. We have been here many times and it's always the same. If you are not one of the restaurant flys that come in all the time they forget you exist. This last visit it took 15 minutes to get a server. The wait times for food are extremely long. You know the old saying. If you want to find good food in a town you don't know very well, eat where the locals eat. Boogies is awesome! You get the real feel of Colorado there. Lots of super awesome locals, farmers, ranchers, etc. all hanging out and enjoying a great meal at Boogies!! We stopped for breakfast. We'd heard about how good it was from my brother-in-law who had eaten there before. It was a great tip! The portions are generous and the pancakes are HUGE!!! I tried the chicken fried steak, which is new on the menu. It was a little tough, and my dad's sausage was a little tough, but everything else was super fantastic!! The service was terrific and the coffee is perfect!! We bought a couple of their gigantic cinnamon rolls to go. It was a nice treat to eat when we got home later that day. Good breakfast from just about the only breakfast place that is open in this town. Eggs cooked to order, greasy bacon, hash browns and your choice of toast. Standard fare, but done well. Coffee served until you say stop. Service was acceptable, but not exceptional, quick or particularly friendly. Everything reasonably priced. read more

We stopped in and got brunch: 3 kids, one adult. The French toast sandwich was a big hit and so was the Mac N cheese. Neutral feedback came for the breakfast sandwich with sausage and grilled cheese. I'd stop in again to try lunch, like a sandwich or burger, but the breakfast was just okay. Pricing was great and the service was fine. There aren't a lot of options in the area, so it's worth a try anyway. read more

We are working in the area for the summer and decided to head to Del Norte for lunch and pickup groceries. We arrived at Boogies about 25 minutes before closing and were welcomed by a very busy wait staff. We were seated and made our choices. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. I had a Reuben with sweet potato fries. Both came in good time and were very good. While we waited for our food we got to observe the staff. They have a great relationship with the locals and treated them like family. When we paid out, the server shared that she and her sister and her mom were all working today. They all checked to be sure our food was to our liking during our meal and at checkout. Great local place. Highly recommend it. (We were glad we weren't the last customers to leave because we felt bad keeping them after closing time. But they never indicated it was a problem and treated us very well.) read more

Traveling through Del Norte we were happy to see that Boogies serves breakfast all day. My order was prepared perfectly. The eggs were as I ordered them. The bacon I ordered crisp was not burnt as most places do. Yummy hash browns and sausage gravy. The place was clean and service was fast. A good stop. read more

Do not waste your time! Service was slow.... Took a while to get a seat, then when we finally saw our server she took our drink orders and we also gave her our food orders at that time to. Food took forever and when it showed up it was a fried chicken sandwich and we had ordered a grill chicken with bacon and avocado! No Bacon, no sauce, no avocado not grilled deep fried, at some paid and left after a long delay of traveling. Never eat at a place that has a help wanted sign on the door! read more

My wife and I attempted to eat there Memorial Day weekend - didn't work out. It became apparent only locals are welcome. We waited at the front, waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes with open tables directly in front of us. A waitress asked that we wait to be seated - ok. She then proceeded to check out 3 tables, start to bus a table, stop to greet friends - never really resumed bussing the table after a bit we decided to move on. I normally don't give bad reviews!without contacting management to try and resold issues. I wrote to Tammy the owner so that she could be aware of what goes on in her restaurant. The fact that she chose to ignore my email causes me to pause and think she simply doesn't care. We were seated in the very back and when the gum chewing, stained short, pony tail swinging waitress decided to take our drink order, she simply disappeared for 15 minutes and retuned with another tables cold food proceeded to fill another drink. She never made eye contact with us until I spoke up and said "this is ridiculous "!she glanced over with a smirk and kept walking. I'm Certain now she must be a family member. It appears they simply don't care about the poor service. We won't be back and neither will our hospital staff. Amazing! Stopped by Boogies for lunch on my way out of Pagosa Springs and i was not disappointed! Brandy was our server and she made some great recommendations for lunch. We got the Del Norte burger and chickens strip basket and loved both. Delicious food, down-home atmosphere, and friendly staff. It took over one hour to get breakfast. There was no half and half. I literally had to get my own coffee at the counter. I hope you're not in a hurry if you are eating here. Food was great. We came across Boogies by accident. Connected to a gas station and store across from the honey shop I only stopped in here to use the restroom. However, my eye was immediatly caught by the display case of yummy deserts. Cakes and pies that looked delicious! So I filed that away in my brain and next time we were passing through we stopped in for breakfast. This is really good food in large portions for a cheap price! Not cheap for touristy places in the summer, just cheap, that's nice on the vacation budget. The staff is really nice and there's a lot of art and quilts and stuff hanging on the walls to look at it. The atmosphere is mellow and that's especially nice when you have been travelling all day. I checked out the lunch menu out of curiousity and it looks equally filling and reasonable. Considering how far apart towns are in Colorado this is a place to seek out for a good meal. It looks like they are prepared for it too because they have several rooms with a lot of seating! We have looped this into our road trip rotation and I'm so glad we did. It's a big plus for me that they are open early as well because that's not super common in this part of the state, at least not off the main highway. read more

We were in Del Norte for the weekend and stopped here for brunch. Fast & friendly service, and big portions -- just what we needed before heading up to the mountains! I had the omelette with green chile and bacon, which was a 10/10 flavor combo. The pancakes and hash browns were yummy too! My boyfriend also enjoyed his biscuits and gravy. We were passing through with a group of 17 people on our way to hiking the Continental Divide. It was the middle of the afternoon and we were the only people there. There was one waitress there at the time. All of that made me nervous. But it was a great experience. Most people ordered burgers and they were all very good. A few got the southwest chicken fried stake special and they said it was good. The service was very FAST and went very smoothly. We ate here in 2019 and had nothing good to say about Boogie's. Yesterday June 1,2021 we thought we would give another try. The food was horrible!! Burnt hamburger steak, cold fries, didn't ask for corn...but got it anyway! Sweet tea was NOT sweet. Wife order 4 piece chicken tenders but instead got served 3 and 1/4 pieces of chicken on bone. The 1/4 piece was the tip of the wing that NO one eats. Chicken was way over cooked!! Got corn BUT did not order it. Burnt toast on both plates.Restruant was not busy!!! Barely touched the food and went to get our ticket and husband expressed our thoughts on the meal. We would rate this restruant a minus 0. Don't waste your money and leave hungry. $33.00 and left hungry. Will never stop at Boogies again. read more
