I came here once and there wasn't any receptionist, so your hair stylist needs to know you are here. Also each hairstylist gets their own personal room, so it's like a mini mall and each store is a different hair stylist. My hairstylist recently relocated to this place, so that's the only reason why I went there. The hair stylist do have some common area that they share, like the hair washing station. But apart from that I think that's about it. Make sure if there is no receptionist to text or even call your hair stylist to inform her you are there. Other hair stylist will try to help, but there are so many people there they don't know everyone. I usually go to Amanda. She definitely know what she is doing and will make sure you leave looking great! And if you don't like your hair cut, she will try to make sure to fix it as much as possible so you like it a lot. I have really difficult hair to cut and she knows how to cut my hair to make sure you can see all the nice layers but not the harsh snipping. I can't express how much I like Amanda as my hair stylist and will keep going to her, even if i need to drive across town. I did try another hair stylist here once...she did a decent job, so I think the hair stylist here are pretty good. I'm just particular with people who touches my hair....I'm weird. I moved to SLC a year ago and have been looking for my hairstylist and I know I found her finally! Where I moved from, I had been going to the same stylist for almost 10 years. So the new stylist had big shoes to fill. Rylie is kind, understanding, and listens without getting frustrated. I know I can be a bit difficult when it comes to my hair because my old hairstylist had known me for so long she knew exactly what to do. Seeing a new hairstylist can be difficult because the color is a different brand, the toners are different, etc. etc. Rylie has been nothing but understanding with me and listened to my "let's try this" etc. And we finally got to a PERFECT color! She is amazing and does a great job! The salon itself is super cute and parking is very easy. They often have great deals on hair products and have a good selection. Prices are great as well.

At the bottom it was lighter because of some hair lightening spray I put in over the summer. I had very little style and shape to my hair and it was sort of dull and lifeless. I showed Katie a picture of what I wanted and she was extremely upfront with me about my hair color and how it would require at least two sessions to achieve the look I wanted. So part 1 was balayage to give me a new lighter base color. Then, a few weeks later, I came back for highlights and foils to achieve the lighter pops of blonde I wanted. She toned it down to remove some warmth and by the end of the second session I was so thrilled and loved the color. You have to be patient! You can't go in with dark espresso hair and expect to come out looking like a blonde/bronde bombshell. I included photos to show what it looked like after the first session. The end result is amazing. Katie really listened to me and what I wanted. She really achieved the look I was going for and also cut my hair in an awesome way to give it shape, style, and texture. Would recommend 100% I'm so in love with my hair. After years of extensions I'm so happy to finally love my own hair. As you can see from the before picture my hair was really thin and shapeless and now it looks much fuller and has a ton of body. I love it!!

She did a wonderful job addressing my concerns, answering my questions and asking questions to give me my desired look. I have very thick hair so sometimes it can take hours and hours to highlight but Gabrielle was thorough and efficient. I also enjoyed the Olaplex treatment as that helped with some of the breakage the following days after my appointment. Overall very happy with my hair and I would absolutely go back.

I showed some pictures of what I wanted and the hairdresser Sara said that she could do that. During the wash, they put conditioner all over my scalp but didn't rinse it out properly. When my hair dried, it felt greasy, and I ended up with dandruff, which I didn't have before. When it came to the bangs, I said I wanted them to reach my eyebrows. Instead of cutting them curly, she stretched the curls and cut at that length, which made them shrink way too short. Now they don't look like bangs at all. The haircut overall feels uneven, and I've had to braid or pin my hair just to feel okay going out. What's frustrating is that my friend also got a haircut here (with a different stylist), and hers came out amazing, which is why I came in the first place. I have attached a picture of what I wanted and what I ended up getting so you can see the comparison. I paid $80 dollars for this haircut and thinking back I shouldn't have paid anything.
