Not the best experience when we tried to eat here. They sat us against the windows the corner. We had fly tape over our head filled with dead flies. And more on the front window. We decided to move ourself to a different table. I called to make sure they weren't to busy. Was told not busy at all. We had a group of maybe 12 all sitting at different tables. We had 5 people at our table. Ordered some appetizers and few items for dinner. Our order took for ever. Got there at 7pm. Our appetizers took close to an hour. And by the time we finished our apps it was 8:15. We were tired and ready to go relax in our room. So we finally asked for our orders to go. Service was ok. Nothing special. Not sure what took our food so long. It was pizza, sandwich and a calzone. Not sure I'd return. read more

The owner (Annalise) is wonderful & my favorite bartender is Julie, although everyone here is friendly and provide great service! Their pizzas are very flavorful! I was driving from ATL to LA in a rig and decided to stop last minute to grab something to eat along my way. They were closed for the night, but they blessed me with service anyway. Friendly but down to business from the moment we walked in. Nice selection of beer to start, we had lagunitas pale ale. We picked the corner booth in the right corner...great spot. Perfect little vignette of the "office" sign from the motel and the motel (Las Vegas inspired) sign. We got pizza and asked for it thin and well done...came out just as we asked. It did take 20 minutes, so if in a hurry keep that in mind. Pizza was very good, we did our own. Pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeño. Enjoyed the place and it was so worth the wait for the pie. Papa is talented and knows what he is doing. It is part dive, part kitsch, and then you get an awesome pie and cauliflower bites with fresh ingredients. I also like that there was a sweet, caring, and local vibe from the girl behind the bar and her Papa who mans the za. I hope that some younger local folks and some old-school enthusiasts will help them paint the place and fix it up to a 5-star experience because this place is special and they deserve a break from working so hard! It is part of a ranch motel that could be an "experience" place to stay if you want the old-west vibe. I have eaten incredible pizza all over the world from LA, San Fran, NY, Paris, to Mystic Pizza (you who know understand), etc. and this was just as soul-fulfilling. Try the Indian pizza for a treat. If I could score this place a zero I would. First of all, we didn't even get a chance to try their pizza! As soon as we walked in I asked the only employee present who I assume was the cook if we could seat ourselves. He then asked me how many people were in our party and I informed him 8 people. He then replied, "Why do you people always do this sh!t to me." I walked straight out with my party and took my business down the street. I try to see the best in people so I really hope he was talking about party sizes and not our ethnicity. I don't know how they expect to stay in business if they plan on being this rude to their guests. I will never go back there! read more

How we got there:, We stopped by here on the way back from the Grand Canyon off route 66. Atmosphere: This place is a small hole in the wall and quaint place. We didn't go inside because we had our dogs with us. The outdoor patio area looks like someone's backyard, very simple. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Food: We waited 15 mins for our pizza, and the wait was worth every minute. The crust is light and crispy with just the right texture. The sauce tastes homemade - marinara and spices. We got a large fried chicken, ground beef, artichoke, and garlic pizza. Great value for all the pizza you get! If you're in the area, stop by and enjoy some quality home made tasting pizza! My wife & I came here last Thursday evening. Although my profile says home is Perris we bought a house just west of Seligman last May, so really, I'm a local now. We were on our way back from Prescott & had a craving for pizza. We stopped at a place in Chino Valley but ended up walking out but that's another review. On our way home my wife googled pizza in the area & this place showed up. I remembered the refrigerator magnet from there so "let's give it a shot!" What a pleasant surprise! We arrived around 5:45 & sat down. A friendly server came right over & gave us the menus to scan. It's a lot more than just pizza but pizza was on our minds & that's what we ordered, "The Seligman Special" very reasonably priced in a medium size. We didn't order a large because the next table of two had one & couldn't finish theirs. I wanted a beer which required me to walk to the next room, the bar. Happy hour was just about to end (at 6) so a dollar off was a good start. Very friendly here too. Now our pizza arrived at our table. Rather than just placing it in the middle of the table the first slice was served onto our plates which caught me off guard. I guess I'm not used to this kind of service when stopping for pizza. Now for our impression of the food itself. Excellent ! The Seligman Special has just about every topping offered on it & each bite seemed to uncover another flavor exploding on your taste buds. We stopped here on our way from Las Vegas heading to the Grand Canyon. We ordered a pizza, breadsticks and chicken tenders. It was all amazing! They make their own pizza crust and it's so delicious. This place it right on Route 66. Our waitress was the sweetest lady and very friendly. The Map app on my phone suggested The Pizza Joint, where we ordered a couple of medium pizzas, which turned out to be gigantic -- good value for money. The crust was just the right thickness and texture; the toppings were fresh and generous; the cheese in particular was rich and full of flavor, unlike the bland stuff many pizza places use. We were very impressed and plan to stop there every future trip. So if you're halfway between Kingman and Flagstaff on a cold winter's night, jump off at exit 121 or 123 and hole up in The Pizza Place for a while -- you'll be glad you did! read more

This place was horrible. I saw all the good reviews so I thought wow I really want to try this place. After I left the restaurant and most the reviews were from people that lived close by. When we walked in the decor was great and nostalgic to Route 66. Then my 1 year old started to cry and a man in the bar next to the restaurant started to say.. " back in the day my dad would've never let me cry in a restaurant he would've.. " immediately I was taken back by the ignorant regular patrons to this establishment. I ordered the spaghetti, my husband ordered the French dip and my 7 and 5 year old ordered personal pizzas. The waitress said the sauce was homemade. The spaghetti tasted gross with a canned sauce for sure which I'm not against but it just wasn't good. The meatballs were previously frozen. The lemonade the Gave me was watered down. The waitress had clearly been intoxicated. The other waitress was the daughter to our first waitress. The grandson who was probably 5 was playing on a side that was blocked off, he really wanted to play with our kids but they said no. He seemed sad.. it was kind though .. when the food was taking too long the kids mom have my baby fish crackers. read more
