It's always a nice option to find a pizza place near the lake. We ordered around six pizzas--overall, they were good, although a few were slightly burned. When we pointed it out, the staff kindly offered to remake them, but we were already short on time and couldn't wait. I also noticed that the person preparing the toppings had long hair falling over his forehead and seemed very focused on his work. However, I would have preferred if his hair had been covered, like the other staff members, as this would have given me more confidence in the hygiene standards. read more

Came in tonight to order two pizzas. One for me and one for my wife. Got a reg BBQ, chicken, bacon and a regular Double Dough cheese, fresh Mozzarella and double chicken. The pizza maker was attentive, friendly, but lacked attention to detail as you can see by the picture. The second pizza is not double doughand certainly not double chicken. It's as if the person did not know how to do a double dough crust. It was like eating a cracker pizza. So sad. Moving on to the end, the finishing the pizza was oblivious as to what was asked. I told him 4 times to do a BBQ drizzle, only to have the person load the pizza in the boxes and then ask again if I wanted any additional toppings. It's as if the person did not want to go to the other side to get the BBQ sauce. I also got a deep dish cookie with the ice cream on the side to go. If a team member did not tell the person to put the ice cream in a plastic to go container, he was going to put it next to the cookie in a paper carton. I had to explain that the previous times I've ordered the deep dish cookie, they put it in a half pizza box to keep it warm and covered. He seemed puzzled, but did as I requested. Obviously we still be going back to this location since its close, but hopefully this review will reach management so they can look into quality control. This cute little pizza spot is located in Woodbridge Village Center, at one end of North Lake in Irvine, California. We walked here, along the lake, while staying with my sister, as Irvine is a beautiful, walkable city. The thing that stands out to me about this location is the excellent service. We were a large group and disorganized. I've never been here before. Our server was extra helpful and took the time out to explain everything on a busy Friday night. They have great gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. We chose to order two The Chronicle. Extra large pizzas on cauliflower crust, and two salads. As the pizzas roll through the heating element and come out, you are met with them at the cash register on the other side. Here the server asks if you'd like shredded basil and pesto sauce to top off your pizzas. We chose fresh basil, and it was very good. The pizzas are sliced and placed into boxes and given to you. There are paper plates and disposable utensils near the beverage station. There's plenty of seating inside at tables and there's an enclosed patio outside if that gives you a view to the Woodbridge common area and playground. I thought our pizza was amazing and delicious. The crust was nice and crunchy and the pizza had toppings I loved, including artichoke hearts. Everything tasted really well together. It was a lovely dinner and evening spent on the patio with family. The nice thing about this location is the several other food spots within feet of this pizza place. The water is cold, the pizza is gas, get the times. The atmosphere is loud but is great for catching sporting events. Service isn't required for a place like this, and getting the food is hard and takes a while. Nonetheless, the food is delicious and has a wide variety of choices. I get the regular sized Times pizza. Do not get the large, it is almost double the price of 2 regulars. And they don't taste as good. read more

We walked in on a whim while waiting for friends to finish a movie at the AMC next door and we are so happy we did. The place was cute, they had a couple of booths and lots of table to sit. We order a regular cheese and "The Times" specialty pizza. It was so good and fresh. We could stop saying how good it was. My family of 5 came in early Sunday afternoon 2/22/26 for a bite before our movie. My brother ordered two signature pizzas for the family while I ordered a build your own pizza for myself. For toppings I chose peperoni, sausage, pineapple and jalapenos. I didn't want any extra sauce for my pizza just a rance cup. There were plenty of toppings on my pizza and overall it was made well and tasted good. I noticed there were only two female staff working the line. One making the pizzas and the other adding finishing touches and working cashier. It started getting busy while we ate and a young man came out from the back and helped out. While the cashier slipped out to wipe tables and seats. I've been to two other Pizza Presses and they usually have at least 4 staff working the line and maintaining the dining room. Lunch was great and I would return and recommend if we are in the area again. read more

They don't have a proper delivery pick-up system, not even any labels to know where to go so you have to go to the register and I'm assuming they expect you to wait in line behind the people paying, which is improper delivery system planning and if you wait around the cashier, they'll simply ignore you (which is very passive aggressive implying you to wait in line for them to engage with you). If I had to pay like everybody else to get the delivery order, I'd happily wait in line, but why the f*ck would I wait in line when I simply have to pick up the order and that's all, no paying or anything. Have a better delivery pick-up system if you're gonna have delivery available. Go to your winning competition that does delivery and take some notes. read more

The garlic-cheesy bread is nothing more than a very thin crust, oblong shaped cheese pizza. The side red sauce/marinara arrived ice cold, thick and seemed more like tomato paste? Yuck. There's some girl with a bunch of nose piercings on her face, she's very rude and impatient. She has a bad attitude, rolls her eyes, and looks upset all the time. She has no customer service skills. I went here yesterday and the service was awful. The pizza was actually really good, but I don't think I'll be back because of how rude she was to me. We come to the Irvine location once or twice a week with a 4 and 6 year old. This part of Irvine is mostly families with children. Last night we came in for dinner. One of the kids has adhd AND feeding issues and it's hard for her to sit still. So I usually ask for them to put a cartoon on their large screen tv so both kids will sit still (esp adhd). They usually do it but the "supervisor" sometimes gives attitude about changing the channel. Such was the case last night. The supervisor refused to put cartoons on bc there is a "game on" and in the "long run it's better for profits to have the game on". Mind you there were no other customers there for at least half hour so he put the game on for hypothetical customers and couldn't care less about ACTUAL customers. He couldn't care less my kid was having a tantrum and when I asked him to call store manager and see if an exception can be made during "the game" when there are no other customers present he said he spoke to the manager and the answer is NO EXCEPTION. My adhd kid had a major meltdown and it ruined our evening. My other kid got a stomach ache from the pizza. Hope the owner sees this and changes this dumb NO EXCEPTION policy. read more

It saddens me that I would have to leave a review based on something minor, but first impressions are lasting impressions. My wife and I "EACH" downloaded the app for the establishment looking for new restaurants in the area since we moved here for ministry. We signed up for the rewards program and received an email for a free item. We also received a notification/alert on the app for the same item in the app's inbox. We decided to go today and when arrived the manager on site named Rachel informed me that they no longer offer that and it was nothing she could do. She was very kind and thorough but explained to me that they are working on the app to remove it but also that I can go to the location located at 1700 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA. What doesn't make sense to me is that if the company no longer offers it, why would you send us to another location? In addition to that if it's the company's fault/issue, why shouldn't as a business accommodate for the consumer/customer? I relayed to her prior to me being a pastor, I worked in retail and banking industry in management I would always work to accommodate a client/customer especially if it was an issue on the company's end or if the customer went out of the way. Gas is over $5 per gallon now and it saddens me that this establishment is basically not taking care of the consumer. I pray this complaint reaches the right person(s) and hopefully my wife and I hear back from someone regarding the matter. read more

Nooo no no- don't do it. First off I have to say, I made a mistake. I went for a salad and the boneless wings. Big no no. Let me break it down. Chicken Caesar salad- $12.50 & came pre-made in a plastic bowl with a packet of dressing! Just like from a vending machine. Awesome. And a bad salad generally- Albertsons prepackaged is better. Boneless wings- again, FROZEN. These defrosted, toasted but still slightly mushy "wings" come naked with the sauce you choose on the side for dipping. Go with Tyson frozen wings rather than wasting your money here. Pizza- "build your own!" Finally the food they specialize in! Tried my husbands, the crust was very thin (but not in a good way?) and somehow the pizza was still soggy in the middle and just generally bad. Came here today for the first time. I had the chicken caprese salad and the Chronicle pizza. Both were delicious. The basil they use here is so fresh and just gave such a burst of flavor in every bite. The crust could have been cooked a tad more as the center of our pizza was too soft and had a large soggy section however the flavor was still great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Both pizzas were extremely salty and left us feeling nauseous the rest of the evening.

Take note that this place can take a while so as long as you're not in a rush they definitely have yummy options to choose from. Can create your own or find something off the menu to order but what's great is there are options for everyone and at a decent price for a casual quick atmosphere. The area here is a little bit more family vibes so keep that in mind if wanting more of a chill/sit down pizza vibe. Otherwise, can definitely order for pick up / to go. I used to have a Pizza Press right across the street but it's been gone for a bit. It was fantastic & I was craving a pizza. I ordered from Door Dash & am a bit disappointed in this one. Crust was thinner than I recall, toppings very haphazardly topped; some slices okay, others no topping. Toppings seemed slim from what I recall & even with delivery, pizza was quite cold. When I asked for plates guess what? NO PLATES, SORRY! Those were the cashier's words. UNBELIEVABLE. The soda machine has no many options. Tried Orange Fanta and I barely filled the cup half way when it ran out of it. The same cashier: "sorry no more of that", REALLY!!! The soda machine is super gross, the place is not clean at all.
