This pizza is supposed to be a Double Dough pizza with Mozzarella, Pearl Mozarella, and double chicken. Poorly made pizza.
    Yiotis T.

Came in tonight to order two pizzas. One for me and one for my wife. Got a reg BBQ, chicken, bacon and a regular Double Dough cheese, fresh Mozzarella and double chicken. The pizza maker was attentive, friendly, but lacked attention to detail as you can see by the picture. The second pizza is not double doughand certainly not double chicken. It's as if the person did not know how to do a double dough crust. It was like eating a cracker pizza. So sad. Moving on to the end, the finishing the pizza was oblivious as to what was asked. I told him 4 times to do a BBQ drizzle, only to have the person load the pizza in the boxes and then ask again if I wanted any additional toppings. It's as if the person did not want to go to the other side to get the BBQ sauce. I also got a deep dish cookie with the ice cream on the side to go. If a team member did not tell the person to put the ice cream in a plastic to go container, he was going to put it next to the cookie in a paper carton. I had to explain that the previous times I've ordered the deep dish cookie, they put it in a half pizza box to keep it warm and covered. He seemed puzzled, but did as I requested. Obviously we still be going back to this location since its close, but hopefully this review will reach management so they can look into quality control. There are team members that are true pizza masterpiece makers. It's just too bad they can't make the pizza all the time.

Immediately greeted by the sweetest gal behind the counter today AND she brought our pizzas to the table when they were ready, amazing customer service! She was definitely 5/5 stars. If you don't like thin crust pizza, which is their standard, i recommend asking for thick crust. While enjoying my pizza, I noticed the TV had Fox News on....

Overall: A nice go to pizza spot and yummy! Got a white sauce based pizza and it was really good. Freshly made and a good portion too. Decently priced, especially with a student discount! Service: Really nice staff and pizza came out quickly. Ambiance: Clean and modern with plenty of seating options.

This cute little pizza spot is located in Woodbridge Village Center, at one end of North Lake in Irvine, California. We walked here, along the lake, while staying with my sister, as Irvine is a beautiful, walkable city. The thing that stands out to me about this location is the excellent service. We were a large group and disorganized. I've never been here before. Our server was extra helpful and took the time out to explain everything on a busy Friday night. They have great gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. We chose to order two The Chronicle. Extra large pizzas on cauliflower crust, and two salads. As the pizzas roll through the heating element and come out, you are met with them at the cash register on the other side. Here the server asks if you'd like shredded basil and pesto sauce to top off your pizzas. We chose fresh basil, and it was very good. The pizzas are sliced and placed into boxes and given to you. There are paper plates and disposable utensils near the beverage station. There's plenty of seating inside at tables and there's an enclosed patio outside if that gives you a view to the Woodbridge common area and playground. I thought our pizza was amazing and delicious. The crust was nice and crunchy and the pizza had toppings I loved, including artichoke hearts. Everything tasted really well together. It was a lovely dinner and evening spent on the patio with family. The nice thing about this location is the several other food spots within feet of this pizza place. We went around the corner and got some frozen yogurt after dinner for our walk home.

Founded in 2012 and with locations nationwide, The Pizza Press wants you to "be newsworthy" by creating your own custom pizza/wings or selecting a signature pizza/salad and pairing with one of the many craft beers on tap. The restaurant theme is inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper which explains why their signature pizzas have names like "The Times" and "The Tribune". We visited the Woodbridge location off Barranca Parkway for dinner after catching a movie at the AMC next door. The restaurant was busy and looked to be popular among local teenagers and families. There's also a playground conveniently located outside. We ordered the Publish Your Own (PYO) Pizza and topped it with fresh and premium ingredients like spicy red sauce, minced garlic, mozzarella, pepperoni, smoked ham, bacon, meatballs, mushrooms and jalapeños. Service was friendly and efficient. If you're a fan of the 'build your own pizza' concept and you've never been before, then it's time to check out The Pizza Press!

We walked in on a whim while waiting for friends to finish a movie at the AMC next door and we are so happy we did. The place was cute, they had a couple of booths and lots of table to sit. We order a regular cheese and "The Times" specialty pizza. It was so good and fresh. We could stop saying how good it was. We also order bbq bone in wings and they were the right amount of crisp and juiciness. The service was great and the staff was very helpful. Not sure why they have 3 stars. They are great!

Customer service was really good during the Pi Day sale. The line was so long but the workers remained efficient, patient, and nice. Pizza tasted great! I love that Pizza Press offers a pink sauce base, one of the main reasons why I like this chain over the other build your own pizzas.

We recently visited Uban Plates again and were surprised how much it has improved. As far as service, it's more of a self-served restaurant and no one is available to serve other than just bring the food to the table. I had the grass-fed steak with broccolini and Moroccan chicken stew and hubby had the same grass-fed steak but he wanted mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. The steak was perfectly grilled and seasoned. Sesame broccolini had great flavor and tasted so good. Wish portion is a bit larger for the sliced steak. Hubby loved his selections and the lemonade. All was great!

After today's experience, I honestly don't want to return as either a driver or a customer. The employee working at the pickup area was extremely rude and disrespectful toward delivery drivers. Before me, there was another driver waiting for an order, and I watched this employee dismiss him in a very rude tone, telling him his order wasn't ready and gesturing with his hands where he should go and where he should stand, as if he were ordering people around rather than speaking to them respectfully. Then the same thing happened to me. When my order was handed over, I had already started confirming the pickup in the Uber app. I pressed the first confirmation button but simply hadn't had time to press the second one yet. Instead of politely saying, "Could you please confirm the order?", this employee grabbed the bag back from me, held onto it, and pointed at my phone, telling me to press the button. He refused to release the bag until I completed the confirmation. I understand that restaurants need drivers to confirm orders before leaving. That is absolutely fine. What is NOT fine is treating delivery drivers disrespectfully or physically grabbing an order back instead of simply asking for confirmation like a normal professional interaction. I told him that the way he was behaving was not okay. He did not apologize, and nobody else apologized or addressed the situation. Delivery drivers are people doing their jobs and trying to earn a living, just like the employees working inside the restaurant. Being an Uber Eats driver does not make someone less deserving of basic respect. I hope the management of this Urban Plates location sees this review and addresses this employee's behavior. Someone working with customers and delivery drivers should know how to communicate with people respectfully. Treating regular customers politely while treating delivery workers as if they are beneath you is unacceptable.

I've heard the Peruvian Steak, Prosciutto, and Chicken are good too! My only feedback with the Happy Hippie is that there is slightly too much filling, so it falls when you are eating the sandwich. Each of their sandwiches comes with two halves and is filling and satisfying. They also use fresh, vibrant vegetables, and a store associate told me their bread is baked fresh every day! 8/05/26 5:18 p.m. University Town Center…read more I decided to try the Peruvian Steak today without avocado. I usually order the Not So Fried Chicken, but I wanted to switch things up. I'd rate the Peruvian Steak an 8.5/10. The bread was perfectly toasted, the mustard added just the right amount of kick, and all of the flavors complemented each other well. It would have been a perfect 10/10 if one side of the bottom bun hadn't been completely soggy from the mustard spilling out of the sandwich. I ordered my sandwich to go, so if I had waited until I got home to eat it, I think the entire bottom of the sandwich would have been soggy. That was disappointing. For to-go orders, I think Mendocino Farms should automatically serve the mustard in a separate sauce container to help prevent this issue. My other qualm was with the pickup process. When I received the text that my order was ready, it read: "Your order at Mendocino Farms - 10 - UC Irvine is ready for pickup. Please proceed to the counter." Some restaurants have signs explaining whether customers should grab their to-go orders themselves or wait for a team member to assist them. I waited patiently at the counter for several minutes while a team member saw me standing there but didn't acknowledge me. After about five minutes, I finally asked, "Can I grab my order?" The process felt confusing and could have been communicated more clearly. Overall, I thought the sandwich was delicious and a great portion size. However, I think the to-go process could use some improvement. I ended up eating my sandwich in the restaurant because I could already see the bread becoming soggy when I picked it up, which wasn't part of my original plan.
