I came here for lunch with my work friends. We were the first ones there so I can't really tell how the vibe was, but my friends told me it's normally filled with people and loud; it's a local Burien hotspot. We split the quesadilla, which I would highly recommend putting the pork inside. I got the Point Burger with fries. It had roasted tomatoes with a little char grill, arugula, melted cheese, and bacon jam. It looked small when it arrived but it was so flavorful and rich that I couldn't even finish it. Maybe that's also because the fries were so tasty! I would recommend eating the fries with garlic aioli. Contrary to my usual hang outs, The Point is open, and airy. Sidewalk seating, and the front windows open fully. Its like sitting outside while being inside. Is there a better way to drink? I think not. The drinks are fairly standard; beers on tap, and various spirits. Sometimes you get a stiff pour, sometimes you don't. Such is life. The menu is fairly small, which is always nice. I've had the wings, burger, and couple of appetizers. All good, nothing crazy. I think my fav is the chicken waffle sliders. People who don't like chicken and waffles can go F themselves...I think not liking them is a symptom of being a psychopath (someone might want to alert that dude who wrote that book The Psychopath Test. Might have to be an amendment). They always have the football, or baseball games on, so its a good place to watch sports. Also, the waitstaff, and bartenders are welcoming, nice, and prompt. You had to scan the menu which we did and then had to walk over to the bar, stand in line and order. We met our friends on a Sunday morning for brunch. They love this place and we found out why. We had bloody Mary's to start off, very good. I had the steak bites with the dipping sauce. Beautiful presentation. I got a chance to taste the cheese curds with the strawberry jalapeno jam--it is so delish. I will order them next time to eat by myself!! We are actually quite pleasantly surprised when we saw the menu prices being in the very inexpensive or single dollar sign range. This restaurant was very clean the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere somewhere between a lounge and a nice restaurant. The dress is definitely casual, and the menu very unique. At our first stay, we tried the lamb stuffed jalapenos, they smoked gouda mac and cheese, and the iceberg wedge salad. We were delighted with the flavor combinations that they put together in everything but the lamb and jalapenos. Which didn't taste bad it just wasn't our taste. The 15 minute wait for a seat was super reasonable and even another 10 before the waitress even brought us water was understandable.. but cold chicken wings isn't so much. Now I know I should have said something and they probably would have been cool replacing them but a bar that doesn't cook chicken wings all the way is a bit concerning... the burger I got I made sure to order well and it was good. The bun was oddly covered in oil though the inside toasting wasn't but it was good. The fries were crisp and the in house drink was good. Show me the point? It was called some pun about the name of the bar. It had blackberries. Really good and on tap. All in all some things I could have had fixed while there but I'd rather not have to. Found parking on the street about a half block away. Went for happy hour around 4pm and was seated immediately. I would recommend getting there before 5pm as it fills up pretty quick. The service was awesome and ambiance was great. They have some nice big screen tv's that can be viewed from most seats. There are 16 taps and they carry a couple Georgetown beers (the best brewery in 'Mercia)! The food came out quick (within 5 minutes)? We ordered the cheese curds, sweet and sour wings and wedge salad. Everything was very tasty. My only hope is that they expand the happy hour menu and maybe discount those items a little more. The perfect final destination for my spectacular mini vacay in West Seattle. My gracious West Seattle host chose The Point as our last stop, and it couldn't have been any more perfect! Nestled right in the middle of newly gentrified downtown Burien (which looks GREAT btw), The Point provided us with great munchies and such kind-hearted, on-point service! I wish I could remember the young man's name but he was such a sweetheart! Funny how knowing what you want and not being a d*ckwad about substitutions, timing, etc. gets you great service with a smile :) The food. So incredibly on point. Tempura fried cheese curds, spinach and artichoke dip, and french toast bites. All tasty, fresh, the perfect size and presentation, and just overall so satisfying. My GWSH doesn't even like overly spicy food, but he definitely could stomach the jalapeno jam and jalapeno pancake syrup (ok, maybe only a little bit, but yay, he did it!) because everything was delicious! Should I make it back up to West Seattle, I wouldn't mind returning to The Point :) Definitely perfect marks for the enthusiastic service! read more

Clean, well priced liquor and eats, several large tvs, and various types of seating (bar, hi-tables, booths, and sofa type booths near the front accordion windows). That look like they would be open on a warm day! We sat at the bar. Ray was our bartender. Great service, food had great flavor, and came out very quickly after our order was taken. I don't assume that it'll be too spicy because their ghost pepper ranch sauce that came with their beer battered fries was like a level 2 for me (1-5 scale). The Owner of The Bridge (west Seattle) did it again!! The Point is amazing and just what Burien ordered. The interior touches are amazing-check out the light fixtures in both the men's and women's bathrooms. This place is comfortable, the food was great (the mac n cheese is to die for). The chicken and waffle sliders are genius (order with the jalapeno syrup!) and the drinks are tasty-they even have a house specialty cocktail ON TAP! I came in on a Friday night and it was busy but not too packed. They have outdoor seating which I love and it has that sports bar feel. It's nice and dim but far from quiet. We live close by and came in for brunch. We really liked the place and the food. I got the scramble and my fiancé got the biscuits and gravy. Both were good, and perfect portions. (They don't over serve here so you go home feeling great, not in a food coma!) my favorite was the biscuit and homemade jam. It was so good, my fiancé stole most of it from me. I also liked that it had a big menu for drinks with brunch. I got the mint julep and it was very good! The waitress picked up our plates and noticed we had hardly touched our potatoes, she said "another table didn't touch theirs are they cooked ok??" I thought it was great she asked. They were good, just big wedges. Potatoes are so filling you can only get 2-3 down at that size before you are stuffed with all your other food. :) we will go back and can't wait to watch a game there! read more

Super late review but this place is legit! Brought my love here one night to see what's all the hype about and let me tell you IT IS REAL! We came here after dark so it's 18+ and the menu is a little limited if I remember but don't let that turn you away because the food was DELICIOUS ! We tried all the happy hour drinks almost ordered everything on the happy hour menu and our server was super awesome and attentive but sadly I can't seem to remember her name but she made the whole experience memorable and great we will definitely come back for more maybe during the day to try out the full menu but I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! read more
