It shows Sundays that they open at Noon and the new resident BBQ truck wasn't open at Noon. Art of Donut consistently opens late. Trucks, if you are scheduled at Noon, open at Noon. Holy crap!! This is the coolest place! What a fun place. Neat little bar with a great beer selection. Lots of trees and picnic tables. Great playground for the kiddies and a half court. Avoid this place unless you want to get in an accident with the construction. Nearly impossible to get in/out. Ppl at trailers don't care & have done nothing to adjust. So many signs in front for other places combined with their own signs just adds to the confusion. I went during off hours - can't imagine how bad it must be during high traffic. Food was over priced & item had a small piece of plastic possibly from a broken utensil. Straight into trash - adios. This place is nothing more than an interesting concept. Little more than a low cost excuse for social gathering. Thats still ok - but don't hype it like its Austin. Plenty of better options minus the "experience" within a mile radius. Be aware that if Denise doesn't feel your review is good enough for her she will give you the correct one (hers) that you should have. Apparently that's mgmt's job since they feel Yelp reviews are only to be written to serve the establishment. Denise feels that my personal opinion & experience with traffic is unjust & jokes that we all should avoid Boerne Stage Rd & everything along it. Actually Denise, the other places u mentioned are MUCH easier to enter/exit because they are within shopping centers with multiple ways to enter & leave. U can even choose multiple roads to exit onto & most are well controlled by traffic lights, turn lanes etc. The Pointe has 1 tiny inclined driveway in/out and is hard to see road when exiting. Good thing Denise has done a traffic survey & knows all the accident data for the area. When she's not critiquing the reviews she doesn't like - she obviously spends her time in a traffic vest. Denise didn't like that I thought their signing was confusing even tho she admitted it can be so for 1st timers. She didn't like or understand my statement that the Pointe hadn't adjusted accordingly. Of course I was talking about better clarifying the signs & parking areas. She admits that its confusing and signs have been removed, but doesn't see an opportunity for the Pointe to adjust. ?????Huh??? While the construction is no one's fault - it is review worthy. It does affect other ppl. Large machinery was crossing in and out of the roadway to do their job. With the road improvments, people fly around the corner near the Pointe. It makes getting rear ended a concern. Yes it's temporary - but it is reality and it was VERY difficult to get in and out the day I went. But Denise knows better & has the traffic data to prove it. For the record I ate & ordered from Big Guidos & it was the godfather that had the piece of plastic in it. According to Denise, you don't have the option of leaving if you have a bad experience or don't like your food. Instead by her gorilla math you're OBLIGATED to stay & report the problem to the food trailer or I guess to her. Reality news flash Denise....You nor any food establishment control how a customer chooses to handle a bad experience. We're NOT obligated to waste another second someplace we don't want to be. As long as we paid for our food - WE DON'T OWE ANYPLACE ANYTHING. I didn't feel like standing in line even longer to address a situation or waste my evening further. I understand Guidos might have WANTED to know about it, but I'm under no obligation to brief them. Denise A. also thinks unhappy patrons should be obligated to utilize technology & social media to better inform each establishment about their opportunities & consult them. I guess spending even more time dealing a problem is more personally suitable for Denise than making a personal choice to avoid the establishment. GUESS WHAT DENISE???? Quite possibly my favorite place in this great city to sit and relax. I really plan on making The Point a regular part of my warm weather dining and imbibing rotation. The owners are great people, and they maintain a great texas centric craft beer collection. Today I enjoyed a Real Ale Devil's Backbone, and had another bought for me by another patron looking for a good beer to try. Thanks whoever you where! The tap collection had a lot of St. Arnold's and Real on tap, and I will never complain about that! The cooler had a great selection of beer that I didn't take a real close look at but I plan on spending some time here this sprung and summer! Great idea, but misses the point...pun intended. Our group sampled fare from all of the trucks and found the prices to be high and the food quality to be low. 7-10 dollars for stuff that really wasn't that impressive from a culinary standpoint. Barely average. Food quality needs to improve and prices need to get more in line with going rate for food truck fare...(see reviews/prices for food truck scene in Austin). Yes there's asian fusion and crazy cajun fare, etc...but still, it's below average in quality and taste (lo mein and boudin balls), and it's pricey...the trendiness of the food truck scene doesn't make up for high prices and mediocre food..resist the mediocrity and monotony of a the monopoly..IT' S STILL ABOUT THE FOOD! read more

Went here today around 4pm to grab a few drinks and food and it didn't disappoint us. The atmosphere was fun but we were not even able to safely pull out of the parking lot because of all the cars parked on the side of the street, it was impossible to see the cars coming at a 50mph+ speed. Rarely will I dole out a 5 star review. But the point is freaking great. You can choose from a wide variety of upscale food trucks while still being able to drink the precious lonestar with getting a funny look. Or you can get something crafty...whatever no judgement. Best time to go is during the day, last time I went it was nice and quiet with only a few bar regulars. Only con is parking. Beyond that, this concept is great. I have no complaints. Small place and very little parking. I tried the Cousins Lobster roll and tots! The tots were awesome just order 1 because you get a big helping. I got the hot lobster roll which was ok but not great. The bar was quaint and the cool hangout but don't order the sangria unless it's fresh ours were partially melted ice! After reading all the reviews about The Point my family and I went this past Sunday around 3pm. There was not that many people there but we were ok with that. We didn't expect the music to be so loud, couldn't hear each other talk. I ordered a burrito from Pork U which was tasty and they brought it out fast. But my parents orders took forever which since it was not crowded was odd. What really ruined it for us was that my brother ordered food from Kitchen Fusionz, waited and waited and waited...after what felt like years he went up to the truck and asked where his order was and all three people in there looked confused and finally they realized they never put in his order! He asked for his money back. At least the lady apologized but we just left after that. I expect that from a place that is so busy they forget but the people in that truck were taking pics of each other and friends and just goofing off! Won't be going back. UPDATED/// 4/28/13 I had to go back to The Point because I have been craving that burrito from PorkU and I'm so glad I went back!! It was a complete 180 from the first time I went. The music was at a perfect level, you could actually hear people talking around you. The people were super friendly just like last time and the burrito was phenomenal !! Fall is in the air and the beer selection is appropriate for the season. I love the personal service and open feel of this place, and will be coming as long as they are open. We went for the 5th anniversary, they had a crawfish boil, food trucks, breweries, and other fun activities. Pet & kid friendly, playground and basketball court, also a tiki hut in the back selling shaved ice and Nathan's hot dog. Fun for everyone, and a good sized parking lot as well. read more

We love coming to PP&E! We have now tried all the different food trucks there and we all have our favorites.

The Point Park & Eats is a really cool place, there is a beer and wine bar and the food trucks are great. I think it would be better to put the food truck on the other side of the building along the rock fence line so they could have more food trucks,I think there is enough room for at least 10 or more food trucks on the other side of the bar. I think electric hook ups for the trucks would also be a good idea. Bistro Six really rocked it out there!!! read more

We are regulars and the music is too loud tonight. We don't mind the music but we come here to socialize and eat and hang with our friends. If I wanted to be in a club and scream I'd go to a club but that is not what we want. We've asked for it to be turned down multiple times. Management has tried but the singer won't comply. This is my second favorite food truck park in San Antonio, I'm always impressed by the atmosphere and the variety of trucks that are here and also the bar is a huge plus the only downside is how far it is, I don't mind making the drive to get some good food but sometimes I prefer something a little closer.
