I went here a couple of times for lunch. The food is okay, but really pricey I think, for what you get. The coffee of course is excellent as always and the service if fine. These folks offer delicious food in a casual ambience with great service. They serve breakfast all day so my husband ordered steak and eggs with tater tots. He was very happy. I ordered halibut tacos with a Baida Nation, one of the most delicious cocktails I have ever tasted in my life.. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! Phil's Philly at Casablanca is downright amazing--perfectly seasoned steak, gooey melted cheese, and that fresh, soft bread that ties it all together. Every bite is pure satisfaction. Service was friendly and we were comfortable at our table. The Fish and Chips were okay. They were tasty but they seemed like product. The Philly Sandwich on a torra was good. I did need to ask for silverware and ketchup for my fries. They had no problem bringing them but don't fries and ketchup go together? We loved that they have a bar. This place is heaven for someone with food allergies. I was told they only use sunflower oil to fry their foods which is perfect for someone with a soy allergy! They have tons of GF options too. Once in awhile they have fish and chips, not on the regular menu. We have buffalo cauliflower and jalapeño papas...yum! We got the barria slider special with garlic fries, lemonade, and a beta juice. Everything was so good! They use fresh, local ingredients. They are more than happy to customize your food if needed. Second time to visit and this visit did not meet our expectations. Tater tots were mush, they were all glued together in the bottom of the bag. We both ordered the "cubano" which is a traditional Cuban sandwich made of ham, pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard on Cuban bread. Ours was a tortilla with either chicken or beef, choice of beans and lettuce tomatoes and a house dressing that did not exist. Plus side was that the Taco Bell burritos were of good size but not cut in half. Don't want to give this review but we both were shocked that these were called cubanos, no, they were burritos. Today was the first time we ate here and it was a totally hidden gem for us! We will be back! The food was awesome and the menu offered a variety of yummy choices. Great downtown spot with indoor and established outdoor seating areas. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Staff is friendly and patient. While the food is always good at Casa the portions and attention to details are declining I have been a long time customer and love to support local businesses trying to offer healthier "fast" food. The food was honestly amazing. I have to say, absolutely do the build your own burrito if you're interested in having a larger burrito. It's a great deal and gets you more food for your buck. That being said, overall $10 for a burrito is kind of over priced, but the ingredients being so fresh and local make up for it in my mind. I would recommend this location to friends. The parking spot is pretty small, and the lobby is very homey. The lady behind the counter was friendly and since we ordered ahead our food was ready instantly. It was slightly cold, but that's our fault due to prolonged pick up, about 10 minutes. They set the food on a cold counter, which doesn't help but I don't hold that against them whatsoever. Definitely would recommend, but be there ON TIME! Your food can and will get cold fast. read more
