New Poke place that just opened up this Wednesday. Going in, the ambiance of the place was great with super friendly staff. I ordered the regular size bowl (which was plenty big for me) with white rice, spicy tuna and salmon. For sauces, I went for Gochujang and Ponzu which was an interesting but worthwhile combination. Some things to note: - Students get a 10% discount! With discount, prices are similar to that of Poke Bros, another local Poke place - The spicy tuna was interestingly mushy/crumbled--if you aren't a fan of that texture wise I'd shy away from it

I visited the Poki on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at noon. This establishment looked pretty much the same as the Brentwood location and offers the same menu items. However, this being the Poki's newest location, there were some minor inconsistencies that need to be straighten out for it to be at the same quality as the Brentwood location. The Poki has a signature torched tagarashi sauce in the Smoki Poki that I really like. However, I was not able to get it due to some issue with the cooking torch. My Poki bowl ended up being heavily rich as it was missing the smoky essence of the torch. Besides that, the proteins were fresh. There was one veggie ingredient in my bowl I could not pinpoint that tasted old, unfortunately. Besides those minor setbacks, the Poki offers a variety of ingredients to choose from if you wish to customize your own bowl that is unique from other poke shops. I highly recommend the Smoki Poki if the torch is working, otherwise, I would recommend getting the truffle shoyu sauce. I wish they were a little more generous with the ito tagarashi and nori. Service was good. Very accommodating and friendly. However, I found that they were short staffed during peak lunch hour. Overall, food and service could have been better, which is why it warrants 4/5 stars - 1 less star compared to the Brentwood location.

Ok I haven't had Poke in a while and I'm pleased with my poke bowl. I had half white half brown rice. For protein I had spicy tuna, tuna, and salmon. I had edamame, cucumbers, pickled ginger, furikake, truffle shoyu, sesame oil, and gochuchang. The ingredients are all fresh and loved my bowl! The staff was A++ they waked me through the menu. Super friendly and good customer service. The store is super clean and dining area there are plenty of seating. My only complaint was that I couldn't taste the truffle sauce. The spicy tuna texture can be a little weird if your not use to that texture.

First time ever having poké! Service was decent, I needed help understanding what/how to order. Ended up trying a lot of new things with the toppings and it was really good!

I want to start off by saying I love The Poki in Brentwood. So I was really excited to try this new location. Overall, the experience was just as consistent and friendly as it always is even at the other one. I did notice that this location had a few more options for toppings like octopus, and they didn't mix the toppings and sauce together, they built up from whatever base you choose, that really didn't bother me personally, and maybe if you asked they might! The only other thing I would maybe mention is that the bathroom i believe was for patrons only which was on the door. This was a great experience, the restaurant was clean, and the lady who made my bowl was really patient as I took my time to read through all the options again. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the mood for Poki.

My favorite poki of all time. I'm so sad they moved locations but I'll definitely be going to Brentwood to get it. It's so delicious!

I was immediately met with smiling faces and an offer to explain their menu as it was my first time in. I ordered a poke bowl with all the toppings and an order of their special: Kalua pork. It was too cold to eat outside, so I took the food home to share with family. Although I ordered a mixed poke bowl, it turned out there was only ahi added. However, it was the freshest tuna I've had in forever (or ever, maybe!). It brought me right back to a short time I lived on Oahu, eating plain marinated ahi before bowls were so popular! Next time I'll make sure to try the salmon. The kalua pork was equally authentic with its tender bite and smoky flavor, and it paired perfectly with the rice and mac salad. We did add a bit of Japanese bbq sauce to the meat at home, which made it a little more interesting. The portions were enormous! I shared with family and had enough pork leftover for a next-day lunch. There is no indoor seating, but because it's located at one city, there is plenty of outdoor community seating. I'll be back in better weather, to enjoy a fresh catch while watching a beach volleyball match! Before then, I may swing by to pickup one of their dinner kits with the freshest fish in Nashville.

For anyone who doesn't know, poke is a Hawaiian-inspired dish made with fresh sushi-grade fish, rice, veggies, sauces, and toppings all mixed into these super flavorful and satisfying bowls. And let me tell you, these bowls were EXACTLY what we needed after leaving another restaurant still hungry and annoyed. The service here was immediately better. We were greeted nicely, our food came out super fast, and the whole experience just felt easy and stress-free. The bowls were fresh, filling, flavorful, and honestly so comforting after the chaos downstairs. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything tasted really balanced and delicious. My boyfriend also ordered the gyozas and for a fast casual spot they were surprisingly really good too -- crispy, hot, flavorful, and the perfect side to the bowls. Honestly, if you're around Fifth + Broadway and want something quick, tasty, and actually worth your money, skip the frustration downstairs and just go upstairs to the food hall. Sometimes the "quick food" ends up giving you a way better experience than the full-service restaurant below it.

This location is located in Assembly Food Hall, so it is a booth and there is plenty of seating around the hall. There was a good variety of toppings and proteins - they had my favorites which are crab salad, seaweed salad (+$1), and tobiko. The poke is of average quality - it comes pre-marinated which further signals that it probably isn't as fresh as it could be. The rest of the ingredients are indeed fresh, though! After tax I paid $15+ for a regular sized bowl. The staff are polite and efficient.
