I don't believe in Santa and I loved it. Kid-friendly live theater in a moving train about the spirit of Christmas. The songs, the audience engagement, the hot (warm and rich) chocolate and cookies, the lighting.... all spectacular! The performers really work hard and it shows. Worth the nearly 2 hour drive from Los Angeles. Would totally do it again! Plan to eat close by or bring your own dinner if you are seeing the 6p show, traffic is a beast and they are serious about starting on time! read more

From beginning to end, the experience was phenomenal. The cast is very talented and friendly. The PE is not just for the little ones. Guests were served hot chocolate and Walker's shortbread cookies during our journey. I would definitely recommend this attraction. We also explored the site. In Building 6, we came across Michelle. If you've seen the movie or read the book or both...What a great experience this is with your children!!!! Highly recommend! Everyone working here is super helpful and super friendly. The drive over here was a long one for us. Good thing we choose the last show of the day- it helped traffic wise. Going through the long windy road seemed a little sketchy but after passing all the open land you enter more housing then you can see the parking lot of where to park. We enjoyed this! It is truly like a theatre show, with acting and singing. They engage all of the children and adults. It was very fun! Follows the book/movie storyline with free hot chocolate and cookies. My 6 year old was enchanted the entire train ride. My 3 year old was fully engulfed at the beginning but dwindled as expected at his age. The ride is about an hour and a half. I wish the drive was a little closer but we would go again! Honestly we drove all the way from Hollywood, CA and I was so worried to come once new strain arrived. But the kids were looking forward to it and so I made us all wear KN95 masks. They didn't serve the cookies or the hot chocolate on the train and I loved that. They care about our safety. Ok next the experience. The staff is AMAZING. The whole experience was adorable. Staff super talented and friendly. We did daytime seats and do wish we did dark hours but that's ok. We will always come back for this location. read more

Terrible. Train literally crawls forward a mile, back a mile twice through industrial yards covered in gang tagging and track side homes while actors act out parts of the book or movie. No decorations outside the train. Extraordinary expensive for a short ride and a weak Santa. My 7 year old said it wasn't Santa right away. Kids thought it was good hence the 2nd star. If you do come make sure to come at night so you don't see any of the surroundings except the lights. read more

I recommend the polar express train if your looking for a great family fun Christmas activity. From the photo booth to the conductor and train decorations, it was all so cute. I loved that fact that everyone (adults and children) were all in pj's! Just like how it is in the movie and book. It was great seeing everyone be a part of that magic. The ride was so cute. I loved all the singing and dancing and how they also have the guest participate and interact in the performance. My bf and I went at night for their last train ride and I honestly think going at night was a good idea. You could see all the lights it really felt like bedtime stories. I also liked the fact that the train was moving! (I believe just back and fourth but still!) Overall, great little Christmas activity for the family. I know this event gets booked fast too because it's so popular. I will be putting my first gift from Santa on my Christmas tree this year. read more

First timer review here! FYI the address location in the email sends you to the school across the street but clearly the train is on the left if you're coming from the freeway. Anyway, the train ride itself was magical and very childlike of course. The staff on the train sang & danced beautifully and had the most uplifting spirits. The prices range from $55-$75 for adults and for children it was about $50-$60. The gift shop could've had better souvenirs but nonetheless we grabbed a long sleeve that made for a pretty decent Christmas gift. On the actual train ride you receive a bell at the end of the ride which is truly wonderful and hot chocolate with cookies half way through the ride. My only note to this organization is please make the hot chocolate more yummy and not made with water! Also, the cookies could've been Christmas cookies or something a little better. Overall, I'd say this experience was a one time thing for me and my family. read more

I took my family to the polar express on Dec 27 and took multiple pictures. As of today, 03-20-24 we only got 2 pictures in the mail, but have not been able to access the digital photos that we paid for. Multiple emails have been sent with no response from the company. read more

Due to my husband's unexpected death Thanksgiving weekend that rocked our world and the very unexpected traffic jams (even though we left early), we missed our train. I was heartbroken for my young boys, because it was an event their dad had looked forward to and they were excited about themselves. At the station, I was given the Rail Events Productions business card and told that I could try to see if our tickets could be re-scheduled. At first, no one replied to the emails or voicemails, after several attempts. Finally, someone did call me and assisted me with re-scheduling in the most gracious way. I am so happy to be able to spread a little magical holiday joy to my boys, who miss their dad. Thank you for helping me to make it happen. We love the Polar Express experience for the family. I guess if you're a really little kid this is an ok time. But honestly, it's gross. The train is an old commuter train that literally smells. Filthy. Broken ripped seats. The windows are covered so you can't see that for an hour you're just going back and forth. The gift shop is a tent and the museum isn't even open. I can't get over how gross the train is. read more

When I first experienced the polar express in 2021, I absolutely fell in love with it! So did the kids! However they made some changes this year that the kids were NOT a fan of! The parents either. My friend and I had looked forward to making the polar express a tradition, especially since we have a new addition to our family, however we will be searching for a new tradition. The thought and process are cute but not being able to see out of the train windows and experience the North Pole took a chunk away from the experience for our 9/10 year olds. I understand that Perris isn't the most appealing city, however being able to see the decorated houses and the train moving added a lot of experience for our little ones. This year, the kids didn't even think the train was moving. The gift shop this year seemed way less appealing and the cast seemed more tired than last year. I don't blame them at all considering they are way more involved this year. read more

NEVER!!! again. I took my family here for Christmas Eve 2021 and we were there ON TIME and they DID NOT let us board. Train ride was at 4:30 and at 4:32 they LEFT MY DAUGHTER CRYING. So unprofessional we were really looking forward to this ride and they do not care all they want is your money and they told me I could not get a refund even after it was their fault that we couldn't board because me and my family was on time. read more

We went last night to the 8PM show with our 6-year-old, drove from LA, which was a trek. I was skeptical that the ticket price and the drive was going to be worth it, but the experience paid off. It was perfect for a 6-year-old and enjoyable for the adults, as well. It's sort of an interactive theater experience with some musical numbers and some very well thought out atmosphere and lighting. They really do a great job of engaging the kids. This year, they stopped going to Santa's Village and they blurred out the windows so that the entire experience is within the train, so now it is just an uninterrupted show. One thought - you really want to go at night as it's 80% lighting and atmosphere. I don't know how well it would work during the day. Some highlights: Everyone wears their pajamas, they serve hot chocolate & cookies (after doing a "hot chocolate" song and dance number, and Santa comes through the train car and gives all the children bells. Seeing a little Christmas magic leave my child's eye was devastating. The actors and all that was great, however, the train "ride" was ridiculous. My son noticed right away that the train only goes back and forth like 3 times, and was expecting more "North Pole" action. Some effort on the train "ride" and more of a North Pole experience would've been great. 100% my son knew nothing was real. Way too expensive, I feel like they owe me for taking away Christmas magic. Worst experience and customer service. They will not exchange your tickets. eTix will not answer their phones or call you back. If you try to submit a contact is form, it goes unanswered. They switch your tickets and when you get to figure out why, they won't answer. We drove over an hour (pregnant and with a one year old) and arrived early (seats were still available) and they wouldn't let us know the train and told us we can wait down the street with a year old Foe the next train (over an hour and a half wait). This was supposed to be a fun Christmas gift for our son, and it was so horrible. I advise everyone to rethink this. read more
