I had my pool measured and was trying to go forward with that order in September and then waited two months for the company to tell me that the third party company we have used is no longer returning phone calls...so started this venture for a new pool cover. Fortunately I went to Yelp and despite having limited reviews I called Pool Leaf and Safety Covers. Kirby answered and we scheduled an appointment for two days later. I liked what he had to say which was that we will custom measure and build your cover in the driveway and install it the same day! Talk about fantastic service!! And the price was $600 less than I had previously been prepared to pay. So between the service and the price we had a real value here. I was scheduled for December 12th for the install but they had an opening on December 6, so they installed it then. Even had a wind storm that blew leaves all over the cover that night and I was able to know I had saved myself an hour of scooping leaves. Give Kirby a call and save yourself some time, too!

We ended up contacting three different companies (based on online reviews) and heard back from only two. The prices from both companies were similar and affordable. Kirby was professional and friendly in his interactions with us. While we were waiting to hear back from the third company, Kirby checked back in on us by phone and we ended up going with them. The entire process was easy. They showed us samples and went over all of our questions. They were prompt and on time. Kirby and Taylor worked hard in this extreme heat and completed our job in one day. We can't believe the product and how they have thought of every aspect - the material (which is sturdy), the hooks to secure it (which our flush with the ground and attractive), the ease of the install and removal process - we will not hesitate in recommending this company! We love the way it looks - the green that we chose does not look obtrusive in our yard; it blends right in with our yard. The cover and rack that it stores on isn't too large; we are able to store it inside of our garage. And we are happy that it comes with a 10-year warranty. My husband is especially excited since our pool is surrounded by trees, many of which overhang the pool. We look forward to installing it in the fall and we love the fact that we can just take the cover off of the spa in the fall and winter so that we can continue to use it. It finally couldn't go any longer. We called Brakefield Pool and the owner, Jay, came out. He confirmed it indeed was time. Our tile grout was starting to come out too. Quoted us a very fair price (we had looked around and they were pretty much on par) for replastering. They did try to save our tile so it wasn't an extra cost but Jay showed me how water was getting behind the tiles and gently tapping them I saw 3 tiles fall off and agreed. They replastered, new tile and grout and sealed the deck (that was our choice). Never felt pressured to get anything. Very upfront and honest and takes the time to make sure you understand what/why they're doing.

They decided to clean my filter without my knowledge and charged me. I never hired them to clean my filter or any other service other than chemicals only. They then proceeded to charge me for the filter cleaning. After I refused to pay for the filter cleaning, they immediately cancelled my contract. I do not recommend these guys. I would rather pay double than hire this company.
