Having heard about this spot for their (especially) Wednesday night entertainment through friends, I wanted to check it out. It's next to the City Hall and Civic Center. I immediately liked the bar's casual-&-comfortable atmosphere, and the open-&-airy outdoor seating area (with heaters). Off their Happy Hour menu (Monday - Friday, 3-6 PM), we ordered: - Happy Hour Crispy Green Beans, $7: our thoughts, too heavily breaded for our preference; - Happy Hour Margherita Flatbread, $8: tasty and cheesy, with a decent crust (appreciatively not covered with tomato sauce); - Happy Hour Well Cocktail (vodka & soda, $6): decently strong and better deal than hubby's Old Fashioned ($15) We didn't stay for the entertainment which started at 7 PM. However, I had to check out their bakery, coming home with: - Mini 5" Dutch Apple Pie, $10: still warm, with a delightfully flavorful crust and apple filling; - Brownie, $5: (described as one of their popular treats) moist and chocolatey The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful (I wish I'd noted the name of the young person answering questions I had about their speakeasy -- he was impressively helpful and respectful!). Looking forward to returning to experience more on their menu, as well as their entertainment.

Stoped into The Post for breakfast. Had to get the $6 bloody Mary's. Great food and drinks. We sat on the outside in a covered patio area, which was very nice and the service there was excellent. They provide everything and ensure that your breakfast is served quick and as ordered. If you're looking for a nice place to get breakfast some morning, you need to try this location. The post is excellent. Thank you guys for such a great job.

Nic did an amazing job keeping us content during our evening. He was very kind and helping the entire evening even after we paid our tab. The appetizers and drinks were very well made and Nic suggested a bran muffin that I had to get even when I wanted carrot after he described the bran muffin. It was my first time here and I will definitely be returning.

Omg. The 24 hr breakfast items are spectacular. Grabbing a PBR with my bacon is clutch. The carne asada breakfast dish is #1. Pedro & Nancy are the best at taking care of you. Will definitely be back!

When making reservations a $25 deposit is required per person but will be applied to your bill day of visit. The hostess was very kind upon check in and took us to the back where the 46 door is. She provided us a code and explained the time limit along with house rules. We were then told to knock on the door and proceed with the experience. Kudos to the owner as this is the only speakeasy in the OC that has a true speakeasy feel entrance. They had a gentleman open the peephole and ask for the entry code. Once we said the code we entered a really cool mine shaft area. The attention to detail was on point and I was impressed! We were then taken upstairs to a private bar where there are four tables of four so a max of 16. This makes sense as to why reservations are hard to come by. The only ding about seating is you are sat with strangers it is not a private table. Luckily we had a fun older couple at our table so it made the conversation more lively. Otherwise don't go here with an expectation of an intimate/ private date night. They also offer a limited food menu but looked very promising. However, we were here for a night cap so just dabbled in drinks. The bartender had a seasonal menu of 4 cocktails he created. He explained the drinks and then had us try each one with a straw. We then placed our order based on what we liked. He did say if we were not a fan he could create us our own personal cocktail as well. The old fashion he created was phenomenal! Overall, a cool little spot in the OC. Do wish they were open later as they do close at 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

Justyn was incredibly helpful in organizing everything beforehand and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We had a party of 30 people, which can easily get chaotic, but everything went perfectly. Originally we planned to sit on the patio, and they had it ready for us. Because of the unexpected winds, they also prepared an indoor space just in case--and thankfully they did, because the wind ended up being too strong. The transition inside was seamless and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff during the event were amazing. Alison made sure there was never an empty glass during bottomless, the food came out quickly and smoothly even with such a large group, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. The food itself was great American brunch classics, and for bottomless they brought multiple juice options and had the table set up with bottles, juices, and water evenly distributed so everything felt organized and easy. What I appreciated most was that I never once had to worry about my guests. I was able to actually enjoy my birthday brunch instead of managing things, which meant a lot. After brunch our party continued into the afternoon with pool and drinks, and that transition was just as smooth. The vibes were so good that honestly none of us wanted to leave. They were also kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge and even brought it out with the candles lit for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Absolutely no complaints. If I could host every brunch event here for the rest of my life, I would. Truly 10/10 for the staff, the location, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.

It was packed so the general manager Justyn helped up set up tables outside which made us feel extremely welcomed. Our server even gave us face stickers! You can tell they genuinely care about their guests- positive energy and service all around. This spot is also so cute for date nights. It's cozy and fun. They even even have a pool table and a photo booth for five dollars. They also offer different events on different nights, so the place always feels new and exciting! Also, their bottomless mimosa deal is SO worth it. If you purchase an entrée, you could get bottomless mimosa for a deal. Chef Carlos is also incredible- honestly I'm not the biggest taco/nacho fan but these were fire. Parking is always easy since they're nearby structure is around a two minute walk. The place also stays open until 2AM even on Weekdays!! Its hard to find that, especially in Irvine. And with Friendsgiving coming up, this is great place to bring your group and hangout. This place is spacious and doesn't feel crowded like other bars. Huge shoutout again to Justyn, Steven, and Chef Carlos for making the visit great. Will be back soon!

You can make reservations on Yelp, and there is also a Yelp live wait list. We visited during happy hour (Tuesday thru Friday from 4pm to 6pm) to take advantage of their food specials. We had the coconut shrimp ($12, but $7 during happy hour) which are always good. We also had some fries ($7, but $5 during happy hour). They were good and a generous portion. She wanted to try the vegan (cauliflower) salt & vinegar wings ($14, but $9 during happy hour). They were breaded and fried well, but had very little flavor. There was just a light sprinkle of a salt & vinegar seasoning. More salt and a dash of malt vinegar on them, or a side of malt vinegar would have made them a lot better. The happy hour food was a good value and got something in our stomachs. My first cocktail was the Wilderness Badge (Tequila, Lemongrass, Basil, Bergamot, Lemon, $17). This was by far my favorite. I love Italicus liqueur and this drink had great bergamot flavor up front with a light basil flavor from the basil infused tequila. It was very balanced and I would have never guessed this was a tequila based cocktail. She started out with the Sasquatch Sighting (Jamacian Overproof Rum, Cynar, Mango, Molasses, Lime, $17). This was balanced, with a light bitterness and light sweetness with mango flavor. Next, I tried The Lost Camper (Demerara Rum, Thai Green Tea, Pineapple, Coconut, Lime, $16). It was a pineapple bomb with a hint of coconut. I didn't like it at all and actually sent it back. I did think the skeleton arm and hand swizzle stick was cool. It is served with the hand at the bottom, but I took the picture with it sticking out. Instead, I had the Black Sands from the regular cocktail menu (Bali Hai Pineapple Rum, Diplomatica Reserve Rum, Pineapple, Orange, Guava, Lime, Coco, charcoal, $18). It is served with a flaming lime and sugar cube. I've had this several times and love it. It has a great funky complex flavor. Next, she had the Naked & Afraid (Mezcal, Campari, Smoked Pineapple, Serrano, Passionfruit, Lemon, $17). This was really good with a great complex mix of smoke and bitterness with a little heat. She gulped it down, and I was lucky to get a few sips. We decided to share the last new cocktail, the Scouts Honor (Vokda, Peach, Mandarin, Orgeat, Lime, $16) so we could say we tried them all. It looks nice with a bright orange color, but it was very sweet and peach forward with a hint of orange. Our server Crystal was great, very friendly and provided great service. We started collecting mugs recently, and we bought the Belly of the Beast Monstro mug ($62) to take home. BOTB is their Pinocchio themed speakeasy in the back (separate reservation required). They also have several other Stowaway branded mugs available. This visit was definitely better than our last few. As far as the five new Summer Camp cocktails, two were excellent, one was good, one was ok, and one was not good. The food was good, and is a great value during happy hour.
