Our food arrived quickly, and everything was served hot and fresh. Players Grille is the kind of place that's easy to become a regular at. He prefers it with the queso, but he said they were still good, but steak portion that comes on them appears to have decreased as well. In fairness, the menu does state the fries comes with "cheese", not queso (and yes, I understand queso translates to cheese). I chose flour tortillas thinking they'd come out soft shell, as opposed to the crunchy/corn i typically get, and the tortillas were in fact crispy. That's on me, I should have asked to make sure. I think the tacos were good, but not great. The pickled onions and avocado kind of over shadow the brisket and flavor from the brisket and muted it quite a bit. I tasted the brisket on its own and it was great. But with the cispy/dry flour tortilla, the pickled onions, and avocado, it was just completely drowned out. I had their house margarita with a tajin rim, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I love the vibe and atmosphere of this place, and I think its a good option for Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday. We look forward to the next visit. Hubby already said he's going to just pick something different next time.
