I'm leaving a review because I'm very unhappy with the management. While I was in last week it was crazy. There were only two people working plus the front desk person. They were over booked and people were coming in late for their appointments. One lady was very rude to the front desk and I found out while I was in there it was her first day by herself trying to run the front desk and clean up. She tried being very patient, but obviously hadn't had the training and experience to deal with the rush and rude clients. So to the lady that wrote the last review, I was there, you were rude and Addison was doing her best with what she had. So, management should train more and not under staff their business. read more

Anytime you have to get any waxing done it can be a little scary. Hot wax on your skin- frightening. I went to Pretty Kitty because my friend recommended it. She was right. UPDATE: owner got back to my email so quickly! Was very apologetic and stated Addison just started last week. Thank you Tricia for addressing this issue. I appreciate the attention to this matter Would give 0 stars. Don't go here. Front desk (Addison) rather be in the back talking then helping check clients in. My appointment was at 5:45. Waited 5 mins for someone to come from the back to help check me in. Finally I had to call the number so Addison could come from the back to check me in. By 6:05 I ask her how much longer it will be. Not once did she say they were running behind or that the wait may be longer or offer any water. She said it will be 5 more minutes. I waited an additional 10 minutes before asking for a supervisor. She replied there were only two people here. At this point it is 30 mins past my appointment. She had no consideration for my time or even an apology for the wait. Then as I'm speaking to her she answers the phone mid conversation. Extremely rude and unprofessional. If you can apologize or atleast tell people the wait will be longer than expected, that's basic customer service. Service is horrible. I will be sure to tell everyone not to come here. The decor is super cute, the staff is extremely friendly and everyone is completely professional especially when it's your first time and you are super nervous. LOVE this place. They are super easy to schedule with and I just go with whoever is available and have always had the same amazing treatment. They keep you super comfortable and know their stuff! The best part is you are in and out in 10-15 minutes(Brazilian). I have NEVER come across any place better. Rip rip rip done. Getting Brazilian wax done is very uncomfortable, embarrassing and painful to me. I wish I could be like some of the girls that feel fun and comfortable and enjoy getting Brazilian wax done (seriously?) but I don't think I can ever be like that. My first Brazilian wax was 8 years ago, and the lady that waxed me said "After you get this done a couple of times, you'll get so used to it and it's not gonna be painful at all.". BULL!! Yes, it's not as painful as the first time but I'm still not used to it. (One of my friends told me "Then don't go, just shave or grow." But NO. No way. Maybe a laser one day...) I've been coming here for two or three years now. Every time, the girls here try very hard for me to make me feel as comfortable as possible. They talk about stuff to take my mind off and they try everything to make it less painful. They always do it as quick as possible but I never got any sloppy wax job done by any of the girls here. Always perfect, not even one hair left. I'm always in and out in less than 10 or 15 min. That's what makes me come back here. Just 10 minutes of embarrassment and discomfort and pain every 2 months. Not bad. I came here about 10 times and I realized they always have new girls working here. I don't know if they rotate girls since they have other locations but I never get to have same girl do my waxing... Maybe once or twice I got the same girl... This place is so adorable. I love the decor and everything was VERY clean! The staff was super friendly both over the phone and in person! Getting a Brazilian can be a bit scary since you're showing you lady parts to a complete stranger and this was my first time trying this place. The person that helped me was Ana. She was great. All the stuffs are very nice and friendly. The moment you walk in you felt welcome automatically. They do go through procedures and cautions, paperwork for you to go through to make sure you understand. They do ask just to make sure your not allergic to anything or have skin sensitivity. When your in the room everything is neatly laid out and clean. Your waxer lady will have a little conversation with you. So you can feel relax and not so nervous if it is your first time. At the end when you pay, they do go over with you procedures to exfoliate your skin. So you won't have some much an issue with in growth hair or other skin irritation. Did a walk-in a while ago since I wanted to try this place out. Front staff was able to find a tech who's available. I just wanted to get my brows shaped/done. Went in to a room. Tech asked me how I wanted my brows, told her a clean-up and thin it a bit. She did my brows like she needed to go to the bathroom ASAP. I'm going to start out this review by saying...... If you are scared to get a Brazilian bikini wax, JUST DO IT! It's really not that bad, avoid caffeine like they tell you, and take a couple Advil 45 minutes before you go in. Trust me, it really helps! I called and made a same day appointment with Courtney. Upon arriving I checked in with her, filled out a little card, and she showed me to the room. The entire business is super CLEAN- it made me feel good knowing everything she used was sterile and ready just for me. You're asked to dress from the waist down, and there are wipes to freshen up if you need to. Courtney was seriously awesome, she made me feel so comfortable in what could have been a very uncomfortable situation, she talked me through the process, and made sure i was feeling okay throughout my entire time there, which ended up being about 20 minutes. My experience went so well I actually scheduled my second appointment before leaving... I ended up making my appointment with Courtney again seeing how comfortable I was with her the first time. read more

The ladies who work at Pretty Kitty are usually professional and friendly I had Jeanne she was kind of off putting a little bit she does not introduce herself by her name and when I asked her she said I didn't need to know that I should only care about my services. I agree with the other reviewer she comes across as abrasive and kind of rude but the more she talked to me while I was getting my service she was much better.
