I like the types of wax that they use in this place. I usually come here for brazilian waxes. I've also had my eyebrows waxed and shaped here. Both experiences were great. I don't exactly remember who has done my brazilian waxes, but the majority of them keep the conversation going. The process is quick. I like how clean everything is. The overall atmosphere makes me feel fancy. The only thing I don't like about this place is the price. $55 is a bit too expensive for my taste. If you include tip, it comes out to be around $67. I've been a regular at Pretty Kitty for over a year now and I've been loyal to one particular aesthetician. Last week I went in and saw a new girl, she's not even referenced in any of the yelp reviews. It was a typical Pretty Kitty experience, except I left realizing it is very important who you get. The girl was lovely and nice but I was disappointed with the end results, especially for how much I'm paying to come here ($55 is a lot!) Not going to lie, it was a sloppy job. But I booked my appointment last minute so beggars can't be choosers. I've learned my lesson, plan in advance. I still stand behind this establishment and plan to continue to come here but choosing carefully on who I receive service from. I love this place. The first time I went was after having a horrible experience at another beauty salon, so I was nervous. It turned out I had nothing to be nervous about! I had my services with Tiffany to start...she was and is fabulous. Due to work schedules that didn't work out for me to see her anymore, I now see Shandi. She is absolutely super. She makes sure you feel comfortable and does an amazing job. And for the record, I personally enjoy the "no children" policy. People should be able to come to these places and relax and not feel like they have to babysit other people's children while they get services done. read more

This place is perfect because with bikini waxing, speed is key, & when all you do is wax beaver, you get pretty fast at it. And speed is everything with Brazilians. I've gone here twice now for my waxing & I see Jasmine. She is a super efficient speed demon. She performs her job effortlessly ( seemingly effortlessly ) while I break into a cold sweat from the pain effectively turning her work surface into a slip & slide. She handles you the way expert labor & delivery nurses handle newborns. It looks super rough but the babies don't seem to mind & the job gets done right. I called in this morning at 10:15 am to make my appointment for 11:45 am same day. The receptionist was super sweet. I had asked how long the waxing would take as my old place would take about an hour and was shocked when I was told only 15 minutes! When I got to the salon, I filled out the information card since it was my first time being there. Not long after getting there, it was my turn. Holland was the lady that worked on me and I have to say she is amazing. I was never uncomfortable and it didn't even hurt one bit. Whatever hairs she couldn't get with the wax, she used tweezers. Came in today for my usual Brazilian. I've been doing them for years now so I no longer have pain when doing them. What I'm picky about is making sure every nook and cranny is waxed and not one trace of hair is left. I used to get waxed here and saw Pricilla who did an excellent job, but she has since left. This left me with having to take a break from here and go elsewhere, because I wasn't happy with those that did my waxing following her. I have been waxing for 6 years. I actually started here at this Rancho location, then started going to Eastvale Pretty Kitty location to follow the esthetician I loved going to. Then I started seeing her at a new salon. After that I moved to Diamond Bar and started going to the Brea Pretty Kitty location. Now that I have moved back into the area I went three times to the Rancho pretty kitty and I have never had a worse waxing experience. The first time I was in horrible pain during the wax and even worse after. For almost a week and a half I suffered with redness, being super itchy where I cannot even sleep for two days, and razor bumps everywhere with white heads. The wax was also too hot when she waxed me and it burnt my skin. So the second time I gave it a try it with someone else and I was still a little bit itchy afterwards but it was manageable... and the last time I saw her which was the third time I had another bad reaction.... I don't know if it's the wax or the estheticians I had at this location. I've been to many of The Pretty Kitty locations in the past and this will be my last time because of how much pain I have been in... it's too much money to be this painfulI called to report it to the office the first time it happened and they did nothing about it..... now I go to the babe cave in upland and see Ana. I've been going there for 6 months now and absolutely love it !! Cheaper, better quality and doesn't hurt during or after. read more

Stacey was AMAZING! This was my first ever wax of my kitty area lol... I was a bit nervous. There was no one there but my friend and the workers. I felt incredibly comfortable with Stacey and she talked to me the entire time. I was laughing and joking. I will say my pain tolerance is high but it was FAR LESS painful than I imagined. Marisa is Great, and she does a great job! Very professional, friendly, and fast. I was absolutely, positively, hairy, totally hairy. Nevertheless she didn't make me feel at all like ew you nasty creep lol. I got a full Brazilian, full leg, and underarm on my First visit. I thought I'd be in terrible pain I even cancelled my massage appointment afterwards because I wasn't sure how sore I'd be lol.
