Lavender lemon drop martini & big screen tv!
    In My Opinio N.

Loved my experience here!! Was in town, looking for somewhere to watch the Fever game, called and they were super accommodating- informed me that they would make sure the game was on when we arrived! To our surprise there were MANY TVs with the game on, including the big screen tv!! The place is great! Huge bar, a ton of TVs, with a great vibe! Server was nice, food was good, drinks were GREAT, with a nice selection! They have their own parking lot so that wasn't an issue either! If I lived here, I'd be a regular!!

Looking for a place in my home-town (area) of FWA to catch the Purdue-Maryland game. This place did not disappoint (except for the fact that I didn't see a SINGLE LOCAL BEER on tap or otherwise). Local beers aside... Awesome wings w/ Carribean Jerk sauce and the chili lime brussel sprouts alone were worth coming in for. Add local beers and I am over-the-top. Don't be held hostage by a big beer distributor... Allow local and/or multiple contracts vs a single beer pimp. Support your locals!!!

The service at 1802 is excellent. My guy "Dean" kept my friends and I engaged and entertained throughout our visit. Overall, great experience.

I've driven by this place for years and finally decided to stop in. I'm glad I did! 1802 has a very strong sport bar feel . There are games going everywhere. On this occasion there were a lot of patrons having fun, conversation and watching games. The place was clean despite it being a crazy crowded night. Our waitress was friendly and hustled our food and refills as she was very busy. We started with a order of fried pickles. These were outstanding. The breading was thick and uniform. It had a slight Spicey seasoning. The crisp pickle and mild Chipotle dip made for an excellent appetizer! The Ruben sandwich was very tasty. The marbled bread was soft. The meat was piled high and delicious- not many places do the meat that well. The sauerkraut and sauce were spot on! The pizza was also very good. The crust was thin but not over cooked. There were plenty of toppings and the sauce had a slight bit of spicy heat to it. Nicely done with the pizza!! Give 1802 a visit if you are looking for some good bar food, want to watch the game or enjoy a lively crowd!

The place looked cool, menu sounded cool. At the positives end there for the most part. The fried mushrooms and horseradish sauce was a solid good. The Brussels sprouts were decent. The "Nashville" chicken sliders were a joke, stale waffle with two frozen chicken tenders with no sauce or flavor. The fries were just ok. The pizza was a pre made crust with a tasteless sauce. The BLT with fried egg and green tomatoes was ok. Service was incredibly slow, asked for a beer menu and she never came back to take a beer order. Waited forever for our bill. Just not a good visit.

There is never enough parking. The end of the 1st parking lot is a ledge that can mess your car up. Food is alright but way overpriced. Our bill for 2 people was $175.00. Two shots of tequila was $16.00 smh. Fried green tomatoes were overcooked. Mexican street corn was overcooked and watered down. Tacos were not crispy at all. $22.00 for a little piece of salmon and dry Califlower. Our friends that went with us had a bill of $110.00. We all left there and when home and ate bc we were still hungry....

Great service, lots of tvs, and the wraps as well as chicken wings were on point. Great place to watch a game!

Eating in the front area...especially in the open area is really unpleasant. It's loud. The TV's are loud. You can't talk and enjoy the conversation. On this trip...we dinned in the "back" room. What a difference! The noise level was minimal. We asked the waitress to turn down the volume and she did. This allowed us to enjoy our conversation and dinner. Great job done by our waitress Zhoee. She was patient, professional, friendly and very helpful to the older members of our party. She was responsive to the loud speakers we were asked to turn them down. Zhoee kept the refills coming while serving us well!! We started started with the Cuban quesadillas. This is really a MUST try. The meat is very flavorful. The pickled onions and sauce inside the quesadilla are delicious!! I particularly like the house salads. They are very fresh and attractive. Plenty of side veggies and crunchy/boldly garlic flavored croutons. I tried the Thai ginger dressing this time. I loved the mild flavors. You could pick up the hints of peanut sauce and ginger coming through. It is moderate in consistency and delicious! I've never had their Mac & cheese so we gave it a try. A nice thick and creamy white cheese sauce. The cavatappi style noodles were perfectly cooked! The cheese stuck to the noodles beautifully. The cheese sauce was so tasty that you almost wanted to like the bowl. On this trip I went with the wings and dry rub seasoning. Nothing else on the menu appealed to me that visit. I got six small to medium sized wings in this order. The insides were fully white without being tough or dry. The skin was a bit crunchy so I'm sure they were fried. The dry rub has a mild traditional BBQ flavor. The wings were really coated in dry rub. I don't think there was a speck of skin showing through. At times I felt like I was eating more dry rub than chicken. The rub comes off very salty - which I liked. It didn't have an after taste burn - which I also liked. The BBQ was pleasant and flavorful to taste. The volume of rub was just a bit overwhelming - at least to me.

Unfortunately, while the venue offers a lot of variety in activities, it is a cacophony of sound and its menu is underwhelming and over-seasoned. If you have a sensitive palate or sensitivity to loud sounds, this is not the place for you. If you like really loud social places and very salty food, you will likely enjoy your time here. Between the loud music and endless banging from the several bowling areas, it is virtually impossible to speak to your party members; even if they're sitting directly next to you. So this is not a good place to sit down and have meaningful conversations with your party. The fries and house sauces are delicious, but everything else is an over-seasoned mess. The brisket sandwich I received was completely tasteless due to the over-seasoned bun. I could taste bread and salt - no brisket. My party members felt the same; one of them asked for no pickles and the sandwich came saturated in pickle juice and had 5 thick slices of pickles. Overall, the meal was disappointing.

If love thin crust, then you need to make the trip out to Arena B&G at DuPont & Lima Roads. Arena does have a very good thin crust pizza. The crust is saltine cracker thick. The bottom is cooked so that it is flour white and soft...but stiff enough to pick up an individual square. The edges are cooked with a slight golden brown and crisp. The crust doesn't have any accents like butter, garlic or seasoning. Just plain pizza dough. The sauce the is slightly sweet and has a thicker consistency. Arena apllies a decent amount of sauce covers the pizza well and moistens it up a bit. I like the little bit stronger tomato flavor without a dominating spicy taste. There were enough toppings to create that single layer across the pizza. They aren't piled up such that you toppings on top of toppings on top of toppings. Just the right amount. The veggies were crisp and fresh. I would have liked to had more meat and more of an Italian favoring. Still good stuff! As for the cold pizza test...it was still moist enough to bite into the next day...the crispy crusts were still pleasantly crispy. The toppings tend to lose much of their zippy flavor. Though the veggies are still crisp. We ordered a side of cheese bread. The bread is a slice of Texas toast..so it is thick. They grill it so it has some nice buttery grill marks on the bottom. The edges are still soft. The inside breading has a nice buttery-garlic taste. The mozzarella is piled on nicely. Good cheesy taste overall! Overall, Arena Bar & Grill should be on your destination list if you are a thin crust lover. It's a busy place if you plan to dine in. Service is usually pretty friendly and spot on. Corner Pocket Pub (St. Joe Center Road) - bar eating/drinking on a relaxed outdoor patio…read more Spent a beautiful summer evening relaxing and dinning/hanging with friends of the Corner Pocket Pub patio. They have a very spacious patio. It's clean and well maintained. Chairs and tables are a comfortable wire construction - nothing fancy. And yes...it still feels like a bar as a bouncer will check your ID at the door. You can balance the bar feel with the opportunity to hang out on a warm summer evening...on a patio. Our waitress was very friendly. She hustled as much as she could though she had a lot of tables. The bouncers were all business. The menu is pretty large with pizza, salads, wraps, wings sandwiches and lots of appetizers. Prices are fair. And, to me, the overall food quality is better than your standard bar food. Here is a run down on the things we ordered: -Quesadillas: extraordinarily cheesy. Soft shell. Easy to pull apart. Comes with salsa and sour creme for dipping - nothing special here. -Chef salad: very fresh and piled high with meats and sides. Two breadsticks were also tasty. -Chicken Ranch wrap: fresh tasting. Tender chicken and wrap. Fries were good. -Onion rings: lots of rings in the basket located on the premium side menu. Rings were inconsistent. Some pieces had a very thick onion piece with a softer batter. Others had a thin onion piece and a very crispy outside. In general the rings were fried to a heavier crisp and a bit oily. Not my favorite. -Cole slaw: very smooth, sweet and creamy Mayo based dish. Small slaw pieces. Not soupy. Tastes almost exactly like KFC's cole slaw. Very good taste! -Wings: I ordered grilled teriyaki and spicy buttery ranch wings. About 50% of my wings were tough and chewy. The other 50% were moist, tender and perfect. All white insides and slightly crispy skins. Love the grill marks. I would recommend double dipped as the grilled skin was thinner on flavor. The teriyaki sauce was thin and had a mild teriyaki taste. The spicy buttery ranch sauce had a slight buttery oil taste with a moderately heavier spice taste. No spicy after taste or burn. The ranch flavor seemed to get buried in the spicy flavor. This review focuses on the patio dinning option. Corner Pocket does have a fun and spacious interior, with lots of pool tables, if you want to shoot some billiards with friends.
