This Is The Entire reason why Yelp was created. It's for those family run places that don't follow the corporate box mentality and look toward bringing a unique flavor and perspective to a community. This is DEFINITELY one of those places. It has a bit of a High Tea with the Mad Hatter vibe, which is fantastic. The interior, needs some floor plans to help break up the unobstructed line of site in the restaurant. With a concept like this, you want little places where you can duck and hide from the public. Plants are a great way of doing this. The menu is very nice. They actually have the menus to mix and match. They have their standard food menu, an extensive selection of beets, wines, mixed libations and even a very nice selection of non alcohol drinks as well. The server did a great job of pointing out her favorites including a fried avocado appetizer that is diabolically tasty! For the main meal I went with the Spicy Burger. It wasn't very spicy but out had wonderfully fresh jalapeño slices and guacamole on top. The burger could use a little more seasoning, but, it was a very thick and juicy piece of meat. It comes with fries and a dipping sauce that is also house made. For dessert I tried their carrot cake. It's very good but it's missing the variations in texture that most people look toward carrot cake of providing. It's a very moist cake topped with more of a butter icing than a cream cheese icing. If there is cream cheese in that icing, I would recommend that you switch it toward Philadelphia Cream Cheese since it offers a bit more of a lemon bite to it. The cake itself has no fruit. So, off you hate raisins, have no fear. They are not in there. But, it would be nice if they did have some sort of fruit in the cake to help break up tie monotony of the cake itself. Toss Is a place that is definitely thinking outside the box and so far, it seems to be working really well. A great place right in the center of town with lots of parking and access in both the front and the back of the restaurant. My server did a great job of making suggestions and making certain that my water glass was always full! Keep up the great work!

What a find. We were only in Cedar City for 2nights and ate here twice! Loved the food.,ambience and staff! The menu is diverse My husband had the Spaghetti twice. I loved the BLTA and French Dip. We had dinner one evening while we were staying in Cedar City, Utah. I ordered the build you own burger, essentially a classic single patty cheese burger with light mayo, and my friend ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. When the food arrived, both the burger and salad looked promising, but sometimes, as one knows, looks can be deceiving. For a cheese burger, the burger was a little undersized, in my opinion, and although the quality of the beef was very good and tasted quite good, I could not overlook the fact, that they served the burger with a cold bun. That mishap really bothers me. Cold bread on a burger, simply does not work. I am assuming somebody just missed a step, but that one extra missed step put a huge let down on the burger. My friend's chicken Caesar salad looked promising, but unfortunately, the chicken was very over-salted. You could consume a few pieces of the chicken before becoming overwhelmed with salt. We left the chicken, but ate the salad, which was good. We notified, the server regarding the over salting of the chicken, and she stated she would let the prep team know. No apology nor willingness to make it up. The service was friendly enough, but if you ask me if things could have been better, I would say, "absolutely." Toast those buns and taste your food before it makes it to the pass.

Stopped in Cedar City to get dinner on the way home from a road trip and bumped into this quirky, charming Alice-in-Wonderland themed pub! The decor is darkly hilarious--nailed Lewis Carroll's sense of humor. We arrive day after July 4th and there were these whimsical portraits of colonial founders as animals! The food was excellent too, from mocktails (refreshing), to salads (crisp and inventive), to hot tea (perfectly steeped), to homemade garden burgers (real vegetables!) and carrot cake (which was, thankfully, not too sweet). The staff were all considerate, knowledgeable, and kind...especially on a Sunday night right before closing! Thank you, Emerson! I'm only sad that I didn't get to try the trifle.

Huge shout out to Chris, truly the hostess with the mostess, and Blake who made some of the most wonderful drinks I have had in a while. We tried Fanny's Your Aunt, Peanut Barry & Jaden, Bee's Knees, and the Slutty Shirley and every single one was amazing. Blake knows he's stuff! Food was a mixed bag. The Crispy Dill Pickle Spears had an incredible outside, perfectly crispy, but I think it was just too much pickle in spear form. I am convinced they would be incredible as bite sized pieces. That said, my daughter loved them exactly as they were, so clearly the pickle debate lives on. Then came the heartbreak. The menu lists warm cheddar biscuits, and my expectations went through the roof, only to be told there were restrictions and they were only available in the morning or something along those lines. Dreams were made and immediately crushed. We pivoted to the Creamy Garlic Brussels Sprouts and unfortunately all three of us were not fans. Davie happened to walk by, asked how everything was, we were honest about the sprouts, and he absolutely took care of us. Solid human and much appreciated. Great service, fantastic drinks, and a few food swings that did not quite land. I would absolutely come back for the cocktails and the people. Next time I will emotionally prepare myself about the biscuits.

We had the coffee bacon and goat cheese burger and the Italian sausage spaghetti - so good! We definitely recommend this place when you are in Cedar City. WOW JUST WOW!! We are traveling through from Montana and decided to stop here for a drink after dinner at the place next door! From the greeting, to friendly service from Ethan and Donovan, the bartenders, to the sweet girls, Kelle, Chloe, Emerson as servers! What a welcome wagon it was!! My son and I stopped by Sunday morning for breakfast before hitting the road. The restaurant is absolutely darling with funky art and decor-animals posed like humans, black walls with bright pink accents, gold accessories-you get it. The music was fun and upbeat, although a bit loud in the corner table where we were seated. Service was friendly enough with a bit of a professional, distant feel. Kind of methodical rather than overly welcoming. The food was presented very nicely-it looked pretty, but I didn't care for the flavor. I'm pretty sure it was the butter flavor that didn't sit right with me-it was just a little too strong and overpowered the eggs and the toast. I get that I'm an unusual person that doesn't care for butter, so it's probably just me. I'd like to go back and try lunch or dinner. But breakfast wasn't my favorite.

Based on the name, I expected more of a "bar" atmosphere. Instead it has a quirky feel with some interesting menu items. I had "Bob's Your Uncle", a chicken Alfredo pasta dish with balsamic vinaigrette drizzle and garlic crostini. Beautifully plated and delicious as well! The food here was great! The pesto shrimp pasta was delicious, but the bread was pretty bland- served dry with no butter or any sort of topping. The service was also very slow. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you, but one person at our table got hers about 15 minutes after the rest of us. I had the chicken quesadillas with a draft beer. wife had the American cheeseburger and my son had the fish and chips. after reading some positive reviews, we decided to give The Pub a shot. we were promptly greeted, and sat immediately in the back room. we noticed after sitting that there was no music playing, which for a pub, there's usually something playin. after getting $$¢menus, we waited for 10 mins. while we waited a table of 8 got up and left without ordering. they were clearly frustrated, and when the staff finally showed up to inquire why they were leaving they said "no one took our order for drinks or food, we're going next door for pizza". this should've been our que to leave also, but we stuck it out. finally another sever came over and checked on us. she said that this was another girls area, but she was going to take over and promptly took our drink an meal order. the drinks came out slow, I had a tequilla drink that was so heavy on lime juice, it was barely drinkable. I sent it back, and the bartender came over to inquire. he was new and just started. he had he hadn't tried that drink before, but he'd look into changing the recipe. how can you bartender without knowing what you serve?!?! our food came out, it was good, but by this point we had enough negatives that we just chalked it up to a mismanaged restaurant. the waitress did give us a discount on our meal which was nice. read more

Came to Brianhead for my birthday week and wanted to end it with a fun brunch. Came across this place on suggested and thought it was a perfect stop on the way back to Vegas! The place was decorated so cute great ambience and our waiter Chris really made the brunch even better! He offered us the specials which we tried and loved and even brought me a free apple cobbler for my birthday. Wow!!! What an experience! My friends and I came one night because we were curious about all the nice decorations, and to our surprise the food was AMAZING. We met the owners and they are the nicest and sweetest people you will ever meet. Also, our lovely waitress Brynn was the cherry on top. By the way, we loved it so much we came twice! Very nice staff and gluten free safe! If you tell them it's for an allergy, they'll change gloves and wipe stuff down. Their food is suuuper flavorful, well seasoned, and yummy. But a lot of foods are spicy. So just ask before you order. read more

After graduating college, our daughter took a job at the Shakespeare festival nearby, and this is one of our go-to spots. Elevated fast casual where the whole family can find something to satisfy. I am generally enamored with the Chef pasta of the month, in this case: lobster ravioli. Ingredients are always fresh and the execution flawless. Daughter and hubs usually stick to the grilled cheese of the month or a salad and they all look equally tasty and they are heartily satisfied. We'll definitely miss this place now that the festival is ending. read more

The sandwiches are really good and very filling! They're definitely giving you as much as you pay for. I went with a group of friends and there was plenty of seating. The staff was very kind and checked in on us several times. Our food came fairly quickly and the entire place is very clean. So delicious. I got the Turkey BLTA on gluten free bread and it was like eating a sandwich pre-celiac. It's a little on the pricey side for a sandwich shop but we don't come here often so it's worth the splurge for the GF bread. Also tried the chipotle sandwich- the spread the use is great but it comes with a little too much meat for my liking. We went here twice while visiting St George, and found the service great, the food wonderful, atmosphere a kick. Only negative was the soup and salad combo was very small, would be only a little more to get them separately and the half salad is much bigger than the one in the combo. read more

The food was very good and it didn't take too long for it to come out. Our waitress (her name is Taylor) was super sweet and you could tell that she cares about her tables. The environment was very clean and it was really cute and is well taken care of. The Pastry Pub quickly became a beloved staple in Cedar City, known for its welcoming atmosphere and delightful menu. In July 2021, a new chapter began as the ownership changed hands. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic meal. Our server, Kyla (shoutout to her amazing service!), went above and beyond, recommending some absolute standouts from the menu. We tried the "Bob's Your Uncle" pasta, the "Fry-Chos" with chicken, the "Pubwich" on a croissant, and the chicken quesadilla--and every single dish was phenomenal. The Fry-Chos were a game-changer. Imagine upscale nachos made with their signature spiral-cut fries, topped with the most incredible chipotle crème sauce. It was out of this world! The "Bob's Your Uncle" pasta was rich, creamy, and utterly delicious--definitely comfort food done right. The Pubwich was perfect on the buttery croissant, and even the chicken quesadilla was packed with flavor. Kyla's recommendations made all the difference, and her attentiveness added to the overall experience. Wasn't even sure if this place was open when I walked by but it was. Smelled like wet moldy cloth or old shoes upon walking in. I really just needed to use the internet for a moment and get some coffee before heading on my way. I should've just walked out. The teenager who took my order has a pustulant sore on her chin that was weeping as though it had been freshly picked. I ordered my coffee drink which confused the two workers (a dirty chai), they discussed adding French press to the chai to make it dirty. I wanted it made in my own personal thermos which added further confusion. I waited nearly fifteen minutes for my drink, my friends all went outside to wait because of the duration of the wait and also the smell. I heard the sound of my thermos hitting the counter but no one notified me that my coffee was ready. I walked over to the pick up window and the "barista" was on the phone taking a phone order. I reached over her to grab my thermos so I could finally leave this prison. Worst of all the drink tasted like hot honey water. I poured it out and was too grossed out to drink more than a sip. What a quaint little treasure tucked away in the little town of Cedar!!! Excellent delicious food, great service & yummy hot chocolate in many flavors!!! I would recommend this "spot" to EVERYONE. The food was delicious as always. We have been coming here for years and always make a trip here when we are in/near Cedar City. The staff is always polite and helpful, with suggestions on which sandwiches are best on which bread options. They have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options which can be hard to come by in the area. We will come back again and again. Thank you for having the best food in the state! P.S. The Pastry Pub in Cedar City has been closed since a fire burned out the builiding next door. Other businesses have reopened but the Pastry Pub is remodeling. I hope they re-open soon, but as of today, they are closed with the hope of reopening this June, 2009. read more

My wife and I love it here. Just got one of their burgers which seem new to the menu. It was a good burger but it was the greasiest burger I've had in a long while. Very messy but pretty good as burgers go. read more
