Soft shell crab po boy (not always available)
    Steven P.

Cool retro place around 6th and Lewis.. we went for the Lassalles menu - so that meant a soft shell crab po boy (limited availability) and a muffaletta and red beans and gumbo. We enjoyed our meals - but we were both longtime fans of Lassalles. You either order via QR code at your table or in person at the bar. Ample seating inside at the bar, high tops, tables, plus outside as well. Service was very good, restrooms were clean, and the dining area was well kept. I look forward to trying some of the other menu items in the future.

This is me of my favorite neighborhood bar with fun decor, fun events and sports. They have new Louisiana based menu with a great seafood po boy. Voted best mirror selfie bar lol

I finally tried to the wings & they're pretty good. Smoked & deep fried and you choose up to 3 sauces. I got the Honey BBQ (reminded me of Head Country aka my all-time favorite BBQ sauce), Garlic Sambal & Hot Honey Ranch. Every single one of those sauces were good. I need a bottle of each to bring home & use it on things I make. I got a side of tots, which I've had before here and like previously, they got the job done. I think it's time for me to get one of the special tots options next. I'm a regular up here at this point. Service was always on point, wait on the food wasn't long at all. For now, they have a limited edition Ramen that I want to try before they take it off the menu.

Every time I've been here there's been an issue with the cocktails and the bartenders get snarky about it. For example, the daiquiris. Every time a daiquiri is ordered, it's in a different glass, sometimes there's ice, and different colors. Here are pictures of the "daiquiris" ordered for clarification.

Last weekend, on an unusually warm Saturday, my wife and I decided to try the Pump Bar. This place is so cool. A great dog friendly patio, comfortable spots to chill out and day drink. The menu is extensive featuring a great smash burger, some good sandwich options, a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, tons of beers and signature cocktails and mocktails. Only downside is having to order at the bar or via a QR code and app. They are also featuring Lasalle's Cajun menu. My wife enjoyed the burger and tots and I thought the gumbo was solid with a touch of garlic hot sauce and some crackers. It's fun, affordable and a great food and drink menu. When it warms up again, hit the patio or chill on the couch or cozy table and enjoy.

This was a spontaneous mid-afternoon stop. I had never noticed The Pump Bar before and I guess that's because it's only been open a couple months. This place is full of Retro eye candy. It's an amalgam of old-time diner mixed with a gas station. I thought it was very cool inside, figuratively not actually. It was actually not that cold inside even though it was a Sweltering hot day on the day I visited. A bar takes up a lot of the space in the middle of the place, and there are lots of old timey swivel chairs for sitting at the bar. In front of a couple large garage doors, which were closed fortunately, a row of high top tables with chairs. On the other side of the room are a few more high top tables with chairs and they've even got a small corner of the room with some video games of some sort. I didn't really check those out. They have a fairly extensive beer list, not too many draft beers on tap though. They do have some really great cocktails our favorite being the Black Betty. There are a variety of food items available, tots seem to be a pretty big thing here. We did not order tots, we ordered a hummus plate which was really good. A pretty generous portion of hummus and next to that a bed of feta cheese topped with olives diced cucumbers and maybe something else alongside a basket of small warmed pitas. We loved it. Lively Grapefruit Radler $8 Hummus Plate $12 Black Betty $10 The place definitely has a cool retro atmosphere. Even though it was mid-afternoon the place was hopping. It should be noted that there is no table service. You need to walk up to the bar and place your food and drink orders and then pick it up at the bar when it's ready. I don't see how this is a sustainable way to run this business however. With the amount of people that were in there, at times there was quite a long line of people waiting to place their orders at the bar. My other gripe was that I ordered canned beer that was not nearly as cold as I would expect especially on an extremely hot day.I can't vouch for the coldness of the draft here since I did not have one. But if you can't serve a super cold beer in a chilled mug on a hot day it's probably not a place that is all that, no matter how cool looking it is inside. I realize the place is relatively new and perhaps they're still working things out. This is the kind of place that I hope survives because it is definitely a cool place. I think they have a little ways to go though before it becomes a regular spot for me.

Retro 60s gas station turned Tulsa's hottest hang is your new favorite spot for elevated bar snacks (get the Totchos! ), creative late night eats, signature cocktails and mocktails (BIG Black Betty fan), local beer, Dole Whips (make em boozy), vintage arcade games, live music, and that big ol patio we've been craving for months. The Pump is located right on the corner of 6th and Lewis, and it's dog friendly, kid friendly til 9 PM (with their own menu), and it just moved to the top of your "must visit" list.

Came on. Friday for lunch with a few coworkers. Tracy explained their food and cocktail menu and then told us to order at the bar. I had the Cabin Boys Pump Pilsner and ordered the Brisket Grilled Cheese, which came with either fries or tots. Another guy ordered their weekly taco special, which was beef barbacoa. The food came up in less than 10 minutes. Their presentation looked great. My brisket sandwich was packed with meat and cheese. The brisket was moist and flavorful. The tacos came 4 to a serving and looked great. My friend said they were awesome. Someone else ordered the Trashy Tots which were topped with bacon and cheese and also served with some hot chili oil. The food was great, the ambience was also pretty cool, but it was annoying to have to return to the bar to order another beer..........especially when there appeared to be a couple of waitresses working the floor. Definitely worth giving them a try and would come back.

Update: went for brunch today. The brisket burrito was so good. And the cheese grits were amazing. Creamy and cheesy. Service is always friendly.

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations (except the lack of service). Ordering was weird and complicated. We wanted to get bottle service and couldn't find that digitally so we were yelling from our table back and forth to the bartenders to get certain drinks. Food arrived but at different times so it got cold as to not be rude to the rest of our party. We also had to keep getting up for silverware, water and napkins. Strange. But the food was excellent and the ambience is a 10. My group would've preferred to have a waiter and just pay the tip.

What a cool new casual spot in Tulsa!! We stopped in The Pump for a beverage. We sat at the bar but there are plenty of tables inside and out on the patio. My husband got a beer and I had the pump punch. After perusing the menu, we decided to share the loaded tots. Yummm!! Service was awesome too! Highly recommend!

I have tried dozens of other establishments, but they definitely do not compare to how amazing the food was here. Excellent seasonings, hot fresh, fast and convenient. I was even very impressed with the service. The young lady behind the counter could very easily after just a minute of talking to me realize that I was a first time guest, and as I was talking to her, she began to help explain some of the food items that they had and how the combos worked and made it super easy for me to make a better informed decision. so I really appreciate that kind of help because when you will try out a new place with so many different styles and varieties of wings you really want to make sure you're getting the best. Here's what I got and a little bit about each item. I can't wait to go back and try a few more very soon. Mac and cheese - real cheese amazing flavor also amazing seasoning - highly recommend getting this Wings Lemon pepper - A very smooth, lemon flavor complimented with a bite of pepper Parmesan Great flavor great taste really bold dry rub Biscuits swirl Really something different I like that it has two flavors in it the great little dessert something light and sweet. It's not a heavy dessert. I didn't expect a biscuit to be light and aromatic to where I enjoyed it and didn't feel full Kings juice Tropical flavor very good. It has a strong almost like a robust, tropical fruit flavor that is smooth not heavy. You definitely enjoy this drink. It is pretty sugary but great flavor. So if you're looking for another great wings spot to visit this has to be on your list. There's a reason why it says they were rated best wings. I definitely will be going back very soon to try a few different combinations.

Ordering online was super easy, and everything was ready right around the estimated time. We waited just a couple of minutes, which wasn't a big deal. The parking lot is a little tight, and with the construction and early sunsets, we almost missed the turn, so just a heads up! I do love that they have a pickup window. I'm not sure what the inside looks like or whether they offer seating since we did pickup. The staff was really friendly, and the wings were delicious. My husband mentioned that the King's Special and Hot Buffalo flavors weren't really spicy, which matched the two "spicy" icons on the menu. I personally loved the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper. The fries were pretty standard, but the mac & cheese was great, especially after I added a little Cajun seasoning at home. We saved the biscuits for dessert and they definitely hit the spot. Overall, we'd definitely go back!

The service…read morewas fast, my order was accurate, the chicken seasoning and the sauce tasted good, and I love that there's vegan options. I ordered the vegan sandwich with vegan lemon dill sauce and spicy fries. I went with mild, but had a difficult time deciding between mild and medium. Mild had spice and heat, but it was was less spicy than the spicy fries (which were quite spicy, in my opinion) and I'd like to try medium but I'm hesitant because from photos and videos I've seen, it looks like there's a huge jump between mild and medium. My only complaint is that I found it confusing to decide which heat level to get and what the sauce situation is. If you order a side of fries, I believe it comes with a sauce. But if you order a sandwich that comes with a side and sauce, it is one sauce total (not the sauce that's part of the side plus a separate sauce). The sauce gets placed on the sandwich (a little bit on the top bun and on the bottom bun) and it kind of blends into the flavor of the sandwich. Next time, I'll know to pay extra for an extra side of sauce so that I'll be able to have some to dip the fries into. They had packets of ketchup available on the counter and I used that this time. In my photo, the "chicken" looks small, but I assure you it was large enough and filled the bun, it just got shifted during assembly and I didn't think to straighten it out before taking the photo.

It seems likely he's originally from Tennessee as the number on his trailer has a Tennessee area code. Lately I have been seeing him out at Creekside at 51st and 145th across from the leasing office. But I don't care about ANY of that except for when I NEED the deep fried ribs that this man puts out! Went mostly for the wings and the wings are freakin good, def worth the trip out south for. Lots of flavors, wet or with dry rub. I got 3 flavors worth on a 30 piece order and all of the flavors popped. Only had to pitch one wing that was more feathers than meat. While I was ordering I noticed the ribs. I'd never had a deep fried rib and quite frankly didn"t see how it wasn't going to come out dry and over done. Man was I wrong. Added the rib plate for 10.99 to my chicken order more as an experiment than anything else. Those ribs were so tender and juicy and well seasoned I about wrecked my truck while eating one. Never had those type of ribs before but now I'm not sure how I can go back to eating them the old way. Long story short, wings are excellent but don't sleep on the phenomenal deep fried ribs from this guy. Follow him on Facebook for times and places.
