I'm sorry I do always feel bad when I leave a bad review but I think that this is beyond ridiculous and people should know. We went during happy hour. I decided with my beer I wanted a side of tequila on the rocks when we got the bill they literally charged us four dollars extra for on the rocks. I would absolutely love for the owners to come back and justify why they would charge somebody additional four dollars. I won't be back. read more

Not many places have a Saturday happy hour. We stumbled upon this spot and had a great time. The staff was great and offered suggestions. Music playing in the background added to the setting. The Bob Marley dip was awesome. We decided to try the Elote wings as suggested by Kayla and they were really good. We had watermelon and mango En Fuegoritas. This was a very solid burrito and just the right amount of meat and everything else. A bit on the pricey side for just a burrito but glad I stopped by to try it out. Service was great and quick and even though it's a small location in the summer I'm sure it's even better. read more

We only dropped in for drinks and an appetizer on First Friday. We were amazed that we were able to get seated but grabbed two seats at the bar. The bartenders were amazing. I tried the Rosemary Paloma and it was quite refreshing. We also tried their skinny margs. Would order them again, too. The elote dip is small but it's only $6. It's good and would try it again. The chips, however, are AMAZING! I usually don't care for just plain tortilla chips without a queso dip or salsa. I could have eaten the whole basket by themselves. Will be back. Glad we tried them! The inverted taco salad looked spectacular and I do want to try that when we return. read more

The pineapple salsa was VERY VERY good. Having a Breakfast Taco available all day was a good move. Super cheesy (chihuahua) & full of chorizo with hash brown crowns on top. It's well seasoned & the egg was super good. I went with the cilantro chimichurri, something that went well with the Breakfast Taco. Service was quick, consistent & efficient. The waitress, shout out to Sierra, was nice & the wait on the food didn't take long. Great ambiance, especially on a beautiful fall day on the patio. The salsa was probably the best I've had in a long time. My carnitas street tacos were flavorful but the chicken on my wife's tacos was dry according to her. We also thought the food was a bit on the pricey side and if you weren't drinking water or alcohol, you were going to go thirsty because there was no tea or other drink options that we saw on the menu. The best drink was Kickass &take names! would start with that one next time it was great, not too spicy at all so don't be scared of the habanero in the description. My wife and I stopped in for a drink and were greeted and served by Zach, the manager. All of the staff were so very nice and professional, plus the drinks were strong and spot on. After drinks we proceeded to dessert and enjoyed one of the best I've ever had, their Tres Leches Bread Pudding. Zach was so welcoming and kind to go through the menu with us for our future visits. EN FUEGO will NEVER get my business. I made a reservation 21 days ago, for this Saturday for my husbands birthday. We show up with our friends and our reservation was canceled. So I tell the hostess, THE RUDEST HOSTESS of all hostesses, that I did not cancel my reservation. Why would I do that and she first tells me we can eat outside . . . hmm it's 42 degrees outside and then tells me I pressed 9 to cancel. First of all check your automated text system because I was out of state at Kennedy Space Center and received no texts much less canceled the reservation. She could care less and she was so rude and non apologetic, she didn't even try to apologize or somehow ease the situation. No she said you can eat outside. I think they needed a table a went ahead and canceled my own reservation. So it's Saturday it's my husbands birthday all the restaurants have a long wait time at this point so we instead went to a different more accommodating Mexican restaurant where we were treated like humans and customers. Either way as I shared my story with people I came across this weekend they all said you didn't miss much with helped make me feel better. But EN FUEGO and their HOSTESS will never see me or my friends again . If I was the owner or hiring manager I'd fire her first thing. Truly worst experience and treatment ever. ZERO STARS read more

En fuego is a cozy, new Mexican restaurant with a full bar that has opened up on Guthrie green. They have outdoor seating with heaters and igloos for those willing to brave the weather. There is seating around the bar and a handful of two tops for guests who want to eat inside. The service is pretty quick and responsive and our food ranged from okay to pretty good. Upon being seated we were provided complimentary individual ramekins of salsa and a shared basket of tortilla chips which were tasty. My friend who ordered the shrimp cocktail reported that the texture of her shrimp was rubbery and she would not reorder it. The chicken on the salad was dry and overcooked, but all the other salad components were good, so that's probably worth reordering with a different protein. The burrito was bland, but improved when I added my salsa to it. Our drinks were interesting and tasty. We came on opening night and we'll probably return again. read more

We randomly found this place looking through Facebook. What a hidden gem!! It overlooks Guthrie Green and has such laidback vibe. The food was SO good!! Everything is so fresh and the portions are quite large for an a la carte taco. The drinks were great too and the prices were very reasonable. $5-6 per taco. read more

Service was not great. Food was fine. I think the place is too small to run a great kitchen and bar. They need to simplify the menu and focus on fast service. My table ordered 3 drinks (only drinks) and it took 25 minutes for our waiter to come back to our table to inform us they no longer had house margaritas (i think they call them fuegoritas) .... Apparently they batch margaritas and bartenders are unable to make house margaritas to order. Anyways we changed our order and later on ordered an appetizer. We only saw our waiter maybe 3 times and he seemed rushed every time we spoke to him, although there were maybe 4 other tables and multiple other servers. I think slow service could be fixed with a more simple and ready to serve menu. All in all - not worth the wait or the cost. They are really missing the opportunity to have high customer turnover with how slow their service is. read more
