I sat my family down at an open table (no staff readily available to do so) after about 5 mins the waitress apologized for the wait and took our orders. About 15 mins later she came back with our juice and water. About 10 mins after that I asked if the food was close to ready because we weren't planning on the food taking so long to come out (we ordered eggs which take mere minutes to cook). After being strung along for another 25 additional minutes (for a total of 50 mins of waiting for food since we placed the order) I left a few bucks on the table and left without ever waiting the full hour for a simple omelet. She kept saying "it's ready and finishing up cooking now" about 3 times and I said ok then just bring it out you've been telling me this for 10 mins. Anyway, It really messed up our day and pushed back our road trip. Couldn't believe it because I've never walked out of a restaurant before but the service was atrocious. Only one waitress and one cook simply overrun. I felt embarrassed taking my wife and daughter there making them wait for no food to ever come. Been coming here w family and friends for over a decade...so I took away only one star... Hopefully today's visit was just an anomaly... ...1st the water tasted like chlorine...no joke 2nd the coffee wasn't up to usual quality 3rd told the waitress that both my wife's and my hashbrowns were terrible.... 4 ...had to ask for French toast we ordered after our food was served... 5...no discount on bad food... Wouldn't know what the food tastes like because I was refused service! Staff/owners are rude..... and possibly HOMOPHOBIC????!!!! Place closes at 1pm. I walked in at 12:10pm and was told that they were closed. Door wasn't locked? Tables half-full w customers? I questioned saying I looked up the hours and they are open until 1pm. The woman said they got too many orders and were closing early. My spouse said we just filled our parking meter. No response. A kind couple started offering some alternative options when the restaurant staff gave us death glares. Will never be back. For those that complain about service, if you want your food instantly then go to a fast food drive thru - this is GREAT food, and it is amazing how well the small staff cranks out great breakfast for so many. If you want a good home cooked breakfast, Angelo's is the place to be. My family has been coming here very frequently for the past few years. They have homemade sausage which is delish! I love a good piece of scrapple and they have that here too! Everything is fresh and not greasy like many diners in the area! I have also taken home rice pudding which is made from a classic recipe! So, we decided to go for a very late breakfast and wanted to go somewhere we have not tried. Found Angelo's and loved it! We had typical breakfast along with a short stack of pancakes. Everything was hot, and tasty. Especially liked that my request for super crispy home fries was right on the money! Clean place, including the bathroom (wink, wink) and service was great! Very friendly place and the food was excellent that I even shouted "kudos" to the Chef thru the open kitchen window. Lol. What a great place to stop for a bite and located right off the square. Absolute disappointment! Came to Easton, paid for parking, walked in at 12:10pm and the waitress tells us they have closed the kitchen for the day. It closes at 1pm! You try to support local businesses and this is the thanks you get. The 2 cooks looked out the kitchen window several times as the couple seated closest to the door helped us out with recommendations for other local breakfast spots. We will never try to support them again. As a healthcare provider can you imagine if I quit 50 minutes before the end of my shift - ridiculous! What a slap in the face. read more

Seeking a place for lunch away from the maddening crowds of the nearby "Crayola Experience," I located this nearby restaurant on Yelp. It's an easy walk from Crayola, though bitter cold and winds made it a small challenge. Angelo's is a family-owned place, and it shows. The hostess was warm and cordial, and interacted with the youngest members of our large group (four adults, two youths, two children) on a level that went above and beyond the call of duty. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and assuredly better than anything I could have hoped to obtain at Crayola. My only regret was that we were there for lunch, and as such, my own dietary doctrine prohibited me from sampling anything from the intriguing list of desserts. Easton, PA doesn't have much going for it... But it has at least one fine breakfast / lunch establishment. Four stars for the food, plus one star for the value. read more

We stopped here for brunch on our way from Boston to Birmingham. This could not be a better breakfast place. I got the pancake wrap with strawberries and it was to die for! Also I'm not a huge breakfast lover so for me to really love this place is huge. Eggs typically gross me out but the scrambled ones with a little bit of salt and pepper were amazing. The bacon was some of the best that I've ever had. We went on the weekend so unfortunately we weren't able to try any of the lunch food. Food is really good at an even better price. I go to Lafayette college and my mom and i went at a weird time and there were very few people there and we got fantastic service. Later that year, 7 of my friends and I went for lunch on a weekend and my god. there was one poor server who was running around with waaaaay too many things to do and it took us half an hour to get water. we ended up being there for almost two hours. i'm definitely going back because it's good and i'm broke from buying engineering textbooks every semester but never again am i going during busy hour. read more
