Chef Paris' Guacamole

Great vibe inside! I got a strawberry marg and my friend got a sangrita. Love the drinks here - they're soooo strong (in a good way ;)). Guac was chunky and super yummy. I also love a good chunky guac with onions and tomato. The chips were delicious! They were different than the chips they first put on the table with salsa and were way better. The baked chips were delicious. For entrees, I went with two other people and we split two order of the tacos and a chicken enchilada. The two people I went with had been to red cadillac and took me just for these strawberry jalapeño tacos because they knew I'd love. They were AMAZING. Such unique flavor with the strawberry and chicken with breaded and cooked so well. Definitely would get again. We all agreed we'd pass on the enchiladas next time, didn't have a ton of flavor. Service was fine. Def will be back for a pitcher of margs!

Horrible food! Nothing about this place is authentic. For starters the guac tastes like nothing the order of faulted literally burnt to ashes and the shrimp tacos were ok at most. Had a strawberry lemonade which taste like straight mixers. 1 and done. Will never be back.

Went on a busy Friday night and sat at the bar with wifey. They have Dosequis on tap and about a dozen other beers by the bottle. My wife ordered a margarita I had a beer. We ordered shrimp tempura tacos and pork empanadas. Both were delicious! I had an almost too sweet pineapple infused tequila later on. Service at the bar was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was very nice

Cadillac tequila!

I have driven by this place so many times, and honestly I noticed a cool Cadillac in front but didn't think anything of it. So when I was invited to stop by I definitely had to go in! I was blown away, the decor is so cool complete with steering wheel and hubcaps on the wall , The most beautiful amazing chandeliers you have ever seen and a full bar with neon signs everywhere great for photo ops! The food is even more fantastic, authentic scratch made Mexican dishes that you can tell have been made by the chef with love! I started with the strawberry margarita on the rocks, strong and delicious and also some chicken quesadillas which were hot and cheesy. I then had the garlic shrimp, which I've eaten hundreds of times and this is by far the best I've ever tasted. I had the fish tacos and the strawberry glaze jalapeño chicken tacos, both blew me away. I also had a chance to sample the tequila that they make in house. You can grab a bottle on the liquor store shelf, Cadillac tequila. And if you're in the union area I recommend you stop by!

This wasn't a close place for me to get to. To be honest I didn't really want to go. So here is my reaction WoW flavor !!!! They said it was like a Mexican restaurant and it has me questioning what I've been eating in the past. Outrageous. Service was above expectations for such a hole in the wall out of the way location (well at least for me). I can honestly say the entire party I was with was treated like family. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Cadillac decor would make a Cadillac dealership proud. Car parts and hubcaps everywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The full service bar is huge but secluded and out of the way for your dining pleasure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommended just leave your 2A in your car

Such a great spot if you're looking for mexican food and a night out with friends. Menu isn't large but still many great options. Can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends, so make sure to go early. They home make their flavored tequilas which is nice if you want to switch it up from classics. Some of my favorites were the guacamole, fish tacos and empanadas. Definitely will be back to try out more!

Had an amazing meal at The Red Cadillac! The Margartias were very strong and the food was absolutely delicious! We went on a great week because they had Big Mac Tacos as their special... SO GOOD! I also really loved the shrimp, tempora tacos, they were so tasty! The Chicken Flautas came with a cheese sauce at the bottom that I could NOT get enough of! Jolie and the staff checked in on us frequently to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed refills or anything else! Definitely a great spot in Union that is worth checking out!

If you're looking for a great spot to go to that serves incredible food, top notch alcohol and has a kick a$$ ambiance, this is the place for you. The vibe and atmosphere of the place capture you as soon as you walk in. The staff is always welcoming and pleasant, and they share the work together, so the teamwork is on point, AND you're never waiting an excessive amount of time for a server to appear in case you need anything. They make their own tequila, and it is some of the best I've tried. They have 6 flavors on the menu - pinapple, peach, mango, jalapeño, coconut and pb&j - and every single one of them is great quality and goes down smooth (including the pb&j)! In addition to having a regular menu that caters to those who like to have their go-to foods, they have daily specials that cater to those like who love to try new things. Of the many things I have tried here, I have never received an item that wasn't fresh and full of flavor; food has always exceeded my expectations so that I look forward to my leftovers. Overall, my personal feelings aside, this place is one that you should experience at least once. Regardless the occasion, birthday, date night, girls night out, work gathering, etc, they know how to cater to your needs and make it a memorable time.

Dope place...the food is pretty good a little on the greasy side for me. 4 stars mainly for the ambiance.

Really good margaritas and decent food. The hostess was rather rude when we first arrived but the rest of the staff was great.

The cuisine of what seems to be Asian-Mexican does not work for me. Place is nice - really wish food was better.

No matter who you are or where you're from, there's a strong chance that you're familiar with the…read moremeaning of "Taco Tuesday," which exists across the US, from Los Angeles to small-town Tennessee, from food trucks in the barrios to high-end restaurants in hipster haunts. For some of us, it might simply call for going out and getting tacos or even just preparing our own. Situated in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Roselle Park, this establishment is set inside a small corner suburban home where some of my colleagues decided on takeout, which came highly recommended. Upon arrival at Taqueria La Casita, or "The Little House Taqueria," we were confronted outside by the neon signage reading "Tacos Open" and Mexican flags, among other pieces of colorful decor. Greeted by the staff inside an un-air-conditioned cozy dining room decked out in its Mexican splendor with 4 tables. In the back, a colorful menu with nearly a dozen different types of tacos and an array of other dishes written by hand. We opted for individual orders containing 4 tacos with Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, and Pork. While waiting, we couldn't help but notice the trompo--the spinning, shawarma-adjacent log of marinated pork used for Al Pastor, which translates to "in the style of the shepherd." Originating in Puebla, this came at the hands of Lebanese immigrants during the 1930s. The tortilla itself was freshly made, of the corn variety. They were stuffed to the brim with meat prepared in front of us and served with cucumbers and lime. Fresh condiments of diced onion, cilantro, and avocado were separated in their own container, and all were needed. Various sauces accompanied in small containers, such as green, which was jalapeño-based; the darker red salsa was smoky from dried and smoked chipotle chilis; and neon orange, which was a sauce made from chili de arbol and tomato. The guacamole was absolutely delicious along with the chips, and we couldn't get enough. The portion was a healthy size. The service was fast; Maribel was friendly and accommodating. Authentic, fresh, and affordable--we can recommend this place.

Great value, traditional flavors, solid portions. Very friendly staff. Will be back!read more
