I frequent this restaurant often. They always have weekly specials and most everything I've tried has good flavor. They have friendly staff and sometimes have performers in the evenings. The deck outside in the summer is lovely. I recommend you try this place if you're in the area. read more

They have a good selection of local micro brews on tap, and most (all I think) of their drinks are made from scratch. They have some unique twists on some classic dishes, and healthy portion sizes, so you really can't go wrong. read more

The monthly Bingo nights are great fun, otherwise I'd never return. Each time I'm at Bingo night (Fun! Great Bingo callers!) I decide to order something, and each time I am very disappointed. Last night was no different. Our waitress was sub par. She took a very long time greeting us, and when she finally did she acted surprised that we wanted menus. Taking our order took way too long. I tried to order the steak quesadilla, but I guess they were out of steak. We never received silverware, and got napkins only after we asked for them, and then it wasn't until our meal was half gone that we received them. Once we got our food I found that my cheese pizza was totally burnt on the bottom. Never have I had a good meal here, though my friend swears by their pizza. She felt bad for me that hers was good while I got the burnt mess. Bingo is the only reason I go back. read more

Would give a 0 star if I could. When you walk in, there's a huge sign that says to seat yourself and someone will come to your table. The waitress (who was also the bartender) looked up at us with a glare and didn't even greet us. We sat down and were instantly uncomfortable. None of the chairs and tables matched. They're going for some upcycle/alternative look and it's NOT working. It's got that pretentious hipster feel, and half the chairs looked like they were falling apart. Our table was sticky so we switched to another. There weren't a lot of choices because a few tables were still covered in dirty dishes. The only thing this place has going for it is the artwork on the walls (which I'm optimistically assuming is from local artists). We waited 10 MINUTES and no one ever came over to our table. The waitress ignored us. We weren't even given menus. Then someone else walks in the restaurant and the waitress, who looked like she knew him, instantly took his order and got his drink... We tried to wave her over and got another glare. This was lunch time on a weekend, so it wasn't some obscure hour in the middle of the week. There shouldn't have been only one person working. Also, the music was up way too loud for the noise level of the place (there were only 6 other people there). After waiting 15 minutes, we were annoyed enough to start walking out. She gave us another dirty look before we left. There's no way we would ever try this place again. My boyfriend and I both work in food service and this would never be acceptable or tolerated. This place is a gem! Met up with some friends for lunch, and will be going back again! I'm rarely ever up in the Turners Falls/Deerfield area, but this place is worth the trip. Eclectic menu, and I loved my 5 cheese panini and the curried carrot kickshaw is something I'll be looking to whip up at home. Chill little spot for lunch. I was visiting some friends in Northampton last week when we decided to take a drive to get some lunch at some old book mill, I forget the name (sorry, not from anywhere around here) but it was so windy that their power was out. So we kept driving and ended up in Turner Falls and thought this place looked cute. Best decision ever! My favorite sandwich is a grilled ham and cheese and this one comes in at my second favorite of all time. So good! I loved that the sandwich was warm but the bread wasn't toasty. Also, the thickness of the ham was perfect. Yum, yum, yum! The waiter/bartender was super nice too. Great place! I guess the only thing that sucks is that you only get one refill on your soda, and the glasses are kinda small. Oh well, one shouldn't drink so much pop anyways! read more

We had a terrific lunch here. The atmosphere was fun and artsy, but quiet enough to hold a conversation easily. The roasted veggie panini was superb, as were the potato wedges. The soup (chicken bean vegetable) and half sandwich was a great lunch option, and the dressing on the Caesar salad was just right. Portion size was satisfying but not too much, service was efficient and unobtrusive, and prices were reasonable. Only a very short jaunt off Route 2, so it's a good place to stop if you're traveling. Came here to try something new. Alright atmosphere with low lighting. Nice outside seating area. Music was a touch loud. Mac and cheese was HORRIBLE. I read a review saying it was great but it definitely wasn't. Luckily we told the waitress because apparently there was something wrong with it. Got it taken off our bill which was nice. Everything else we had was not bad. Nothing to write home about. Overall ok experience but probably wouldn't go out of my way to go again. read more

What an awesome bar/restaurant in a cute, quaint, and tucked away little New England town! The building of the bar/resto looks like a tall narrow wood barn/shack of reclaimed wood, and the inside is a great space with lots of seating and a long bar area. We like this place. Good prices, variety in the menu, and great food. We had a burger, quesadilla, cheesecake and drinks. The burger was delicious and quesadilla was simple as expected but yummy. This was a really good place to get food. My Voo burger was delicious and so was my drink. Beer selection was a little thin. They were out of quite a few varieties. The lighting was dimmed and comfortable, music was reasonable and not distracting. Good place to eat, drink and even bring a laptop if you're into that. read more
