I've used Repair Tech twice now, and both times they've delivered. First, they fixed the igniter on my old gas stove -- rather than replace it, I wanted to see if it could be repaired, and they came through. Second, my washing machine stopped mid-cycle with a full tub of water. They fixed it, but when the problem persisted, they came right back and tracked it down to a tiny screw that had fallen out. Every technician I've worked with has been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable -- the kind of people you feel good about having in your home. That combination of expertise and persistence is hard to find. My washer is running perfectly now, and I didn't have to replace either appliance. First off they came out to repair the icemaker and the refrigerator was not cooling properly. They came out and installed the fan and they also charged me for two emergency responses which was $200 each. It should've only been one and unfortunately when they left my icemaker did not still work and now I have been put on hold as it is a warranty item and it's been four weeks now without an icemaker, and they will not schedule the appointment until they receive the part to fix it, which will only prolong the repair of my refrigerator. This is an awful company and I would never hire them again but now I am already stuck in with them and I have no choice. Do not do it beware. read more

It was not a straightforward job; one fan had to replace an existing light, and the ducting from each fan had to share a single vent in the roof. Emmanuel put a lot of thought into how he was going to solve the problem, providing photos he drew on to show how he was going to do it. I had to get some service done and get some minor work, and learned that much of my furnace installation was not done in a quality way. Just want to say that I have used Manny and the Repair Tech 3 times already for different situations: 1. Refrigerator (multiple issues with no resolve from 2 other companies) 2. Heat Exchange Unit in my attic and thermostat failure, plus replacement of the HE unit, replacement of the ducting and adding extra vents for better distribution and system efficiency. (We had "pockets" in our home, where some areas were either really cold, or really warm - depending on the season. Especially my kitchen which faces west.) They completely solved these issues - which resulted in lower costs to run our system in all seasons. 3. Repair on my dryer. EVERY single time - on EVERY issue, this team not only SOLVED the problems we were having, but saved us money and made better overall recommendations. He had to research the part on my older refrigerator before it could be fixed. He found out that the original part was no longer available but had been replaced by a newer, better version. He was friendly, helpful and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I also loved that I got a text when he was on his way. These folks are the best appliance repair folks around. I highly recommend them for all of your appliance service needs. My ice maker stopped working on my 2017 KitchenAid refrigerator. Turns out some wires were cut/disconnected from regular usage of the freezer door as it was a bad design by Kitchen Aide to have those wires at the bottom of the door. Emmanuel diagnosed the problem and was able to solder the wires back together. Saved me $1200 as the only replacement otherwise was a new freezer door. Not only did Emmanuel fix my refrigerator at a very reasonable price, he also balanced it and straightened out the doors. The fridge and freezer doors are lined up now and I'm absolutely thrilled. This company was contracted out to repair my heater/ac in January. It took them around 3 months to install the new outdoor unit and it still was not producing any cold air or heat. They continued to make visits over the next couple months (up until June) trying to diagnose why the brand new unit they installed was still not working. Finally one technician diagnosed that the fan coil underneath the house had a leak. Well this fan coil had been there since they started the work in January, so why did it take them over half a year to diagnose this leak? Repair Tech then reached out to the home warranty that contracted them to request a new fan coil. It was denied as the home warranty closed my claim as apparently Repair Tech billed the home warranty and told them that the job was done at some point during March. The home warranty now refuses to re-open my claim and it is all because it took these technicians over half a year to detect a leak on a part that they were working with this whole time. I have also called and emailed asking for documentation of the work done and recieved nothing but a typed up email of the 3 times they showed up at the house. No actual professional documentation. I even had one of the employees hang up on me when I called to ask for an explanation as to why it took them half a year to detect a leak. My current situation is I have not had any heat or ac since late December and now both the home warranty and this repair tech will not return my calls or emails. Oh this is the best part, the 3 main months the technicians were working at my house "repairing" my unit, they ran up my electric bill up to $1100 a month!!! I was willing to pay it and not say anything because I just wanted my ac/heater fixed, but instead they ran up my bill and left me with a non functioning unit. read more
