I have a house that was built in 1982 with galvanized pipes. I had several leaks recently that I fixed with clamps and seal tape that required tearing out drywall and drying out the area. It was a pain and I was constantly worried about a line busting due to all the rust inside the pipes. A repipe of the house was needed. After reading lots of reviews from several companies in the Houston area I decided to get bids from 3 companies. Repipe Specialists, Clean Team, and The Repipe Company. All 3 companies quoted the job and services included were all the same. (Repipe with Uponor Pex, new supply valves throughout, drywall repair, paint and texture to match) After reading all the reviews and looking at the bids, I had to go with The Repipe Company. Their quote was 15% cheaper than Clean Team and 30% less than Repipe Specialists! I was not necessarily going for the cheapest bid because I wanted the job to be done right. I value reviews and felt the Repipe Company would do the job right. The Repipe Company and Clean Team were the only 2 companies I checked with that do the complete job with their own employees. Repipe Specialists does the advertising and bidding but then contracts out their jobs to other companies to do the work. The Repipe Company owner Carlos came to my house and bid the job for me. He was very professional passionate about the job he does. It was apparent from the 8 or so different employees he sent to complete the job throughout the week that his employees share that passion. I know it is a big commitment to repipe your house, both financially and personally with your house being in disarray for a few days. The crews constantly cleaned up after themselves and the drywall crew did an amazing job of repairing all of the access holes they made. I am glad I chose The Repipe Company to do the job. We just finished a two-story repipe with Carlos and his team. We are very impressed with the quality of the work, the customer service, the attention to detail, and the high standards which everyone strives for. Our plumber, Richard, was courteous and methodical. Nestor and Juan Felix who did the sheetrock worked magic to make the holes just disappear. Robin and Angie in the office were communicative and helped answer all our questions. We have seen a noticeable increase in water pressure and the hot water gets to our faucets much faster. My only criticism is that the time estimates were off, both in terms of arrival times and how long the job would take. We got 4 bids to repipe the house and The Repipe Company was undoubtedly the most comprehensive product for the best price. I would absolutely recommend this company to family and friends and would use them again if necessary. Just to pass on some wisdom - if you have young children (which we do, 3 years and 1 year), you may want to consider staying elsewhere while the work is going on. There will be loud noises of sawing and drilling, dropcloths on the ground, bits of sheetrock everywhere and exposed holes in walls where curious 3-year-olds can stick hands or drop toys. Just for planning purposes - this was really a 5-day job for us. Day one was cutting holes and getting the PEX in place. Day two was connecting the new pipes and the water had to be cut off. Day three was bracing sheetrock into place, taping and floating. Day 4 was texture. Day 5 was paint. Maybe some houses can be done faster but that was the schedule for us. Good luck! read more

I have to say that these guys are first class, they make an extremely hard job look easy. From the start I was sold from the moment the phone was answered, so since the repipe company specializes in only home repipe projects I figured why not give them a shot. I previously used another highly reputable yelp business to repipe my personal home that I was extremely satisfied with, but thought since this was one of my rental properties can I find the same great service with quality job done and long warranty for a bit better pricing. JACKPOT! I was set up for a convenient time around my schedule for the free evaluation, with a technician that has over 15 years in the repiping business expertise. He was thorough in his explanation, detailed when it came to the install process and if I remember correctly I believe I only had to ask 1 or 2 questions by the time his presentation was done, one of them being how soon could we get started. I roughly saved myself 25-30% going with the repipe company, and this rental property in the heights is roughly 600 sq. ft. larger than my own personal home. The lifetime warranty is a solid one and with the in house guys they have to repair the dry wall once the repipe project is complete you cant go wrong, they are a 1 stop shop. The 25 month interest free payment plan was a no brainier for me as I'm updating this property a bit at time, but it gave me the flexibility to do more in a shorter period of time and get a tenant moved right in with everything done I now have a piece of mind. read more

The Repipe Company recently repiped our home with Pex, installed a water heater, 2 toilets, and a new shower valve. I am completely satisfied with the way this company does business. Carlos, the owner, was upfront and helpful in building a quote and getting us scheduled. The office was always friendly and courteous talking us through scheduling and billing. Richard was plumber that did our work, with his helper Joey, and they did a great job. They were busy, sweaty, and working long hours, but took time to talk through any questions we had, immediately notified us of any changes or issues that came up, and worked with us to find solutions. The first day they told us their aim was for us to forget they had even been there when they left that night, and they hit the mark. It was a messy job, but they cleaned up behind themselves and worked with us, making it easier to live through the 3 day job with 3 kids under 5. There were two minor mistakes, which is impressive by itself considering the scope of the job, but the most impressive was the way the Repipe Company handled it. From the Richard, to Carlos, to the office, to the recommended contractors (RSFM electrical and Rios Restoration). Everyone was professional, helpful, and 100% committed to making sure we got back on track and the job was successful. Recently, in December 2023 we had our whole house repiped. The Repipe Company did a great job on this project. The team was headed by Carlos H. who inspected the property and provided the quote which was very competitive relative to the market. In addition to repiping the house, they fixed all the sheetrock cuts and matched the paint in every location. Our house is fairly large with many plumbing fixtures and they completed the repipe work in one day. Sheetrock repair and painting took another day and a half. The entire team with Carlos, Noah, Nelson, Eric and his wife, Renee and his son did an excellent job. Additionally, we had them replace two old water heaters which was done during the repiping day. As a separate piece, we had them redo our dining room, replacing the old wallpaper with texture and paint. This took 3-4 days as it required a lot of meticulous work, including the ceiling, walls, and trim. Overall, a fantastic job by the team! read more

I tried this company on a rental home when they were first getting started and the guy did an awesome job back in 2016. I had the same guy look at a remodel job I'm doing now on my own house. His price was more than fair, so I asked for a whole house plumbing quote. The repiping price was really fair and by the end of the week it was completely done. The plumbing crew showed up at 7am and finished by 7pm. And they cleaned up and hauled off all the trash. There was several holes in my sheetrock for wall access, to set faucets or boxes that I covered overnight with cheap construction plastic sheets. The very next day at 7am the drywall guy showed up and covered, textured, and painted to holes. He even added an access door to the attic in a remote part of the house. The drywall guy obviously has artist's hands because his texturing matched. Glad I repiped with Repipe. read more

Exceptional Service. These guys were so professional, thorough and clean. One guy even swept the kitchen after they were finished. I now have amazing water pressure and no more brown ice cubes. Carlos and his team are very professional. They had to re-pipe the whole house after a water pipe leak from the original plumbing in a house that was built in 1959. They had to move some existing lines and yes, it was a little messy. But the process was not as painful as it could have been, because it was planned well, friendly staff, coordinated with expertise, and the ending results were excellent. We had leaks in our water pipes in the ceiling of our laundry room and called Repipe out for an estimate to repair or replace them. They came out and gave a very reasonable offer to repipe the entire house. They showed up on time, and while they were repairing the drywall, we asked them to float and paint our half-bath (which they did beautifully, staying until 10:00 at night to complete it). All the service people that arrived at our house were professional, polite, and friendly. After we had our ceiling replaced by another individual, we noticed a gas leak. Carlos Hernandes (the owner of Repipe) personally came out and fixed the gas leak for us, free of charge. My house in Spring, TX was built in 1975. In 2018 my pipes burst in the ceiling above our dining room. We called three different companies requesting quotes. Carlos worked with us from every angle: start date, cost, walked the entire house and went over everything that was to be replaced, time to complete the job. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He and his crew didn't just deliver on his promise, they over delivered One was the main pipe coming out of the water heater, he couldn't get to me for a few days so he sent a crew to put in a temporary patch to stop the leak and leave me with water till they could get there. That's customer service! His crew fixed things that were not part of the contract and didn't charge me any extra which I would have gladly paid.
