The team at 1-800-Plumber +Air is super professional, does a great job, and cleans up after themselves well. Chad installed our tankless water heater to replace our two existing tank water heaters in the attic. Additionally, a month after the install, I noticed a small amount of water in the drip pan, the culprit was some condensation inside the unit dripping down the venting pipe. I called them to ask about it and they came out that day to fix it. Their pricing was a little higher than other quotes I got, however they also called in a licensed electrician and roofer to make sure everything was done right. The roofer they hired even did an inspection of the roof and let me know of a few deficiencies. The overall experience was great. Chad and his apprentices are nice, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I would recommend them if you want the job done right. read more

I hired them a year back to replace a water heater and install the whole-house filter - they did a good job back then. Fast forward this year. Called them to replace a tub faucet, appointment between 2-4pm. No show. Text, we are running late, after 5pm a call - they are not coming. Rescheduled for the next day. Okay, next day the guy shows up, does a decent job. When he left I noticed that the faucet is dripping - fine, stuff happens. Calling them back - I can get you the guy there right now, done. Calling back in an hour - the guy left for the day, I can get you someone between 2-4pm. Fine. 3pm - we are running late. 7pm a call - we are coming now. No, thank you, your time was between 2 and 4 and I am not here sitting and waiting for your inability to manage your jobs. Oh, and not a word of an apology, it's like that's the way it's supposed to be and I should be grateful they are even talking to me after I paid them 800 for the incomplete job. All in all - look somewhere else, save yourself trouble. read more

I would zero stars if this was an option. They quoted us $1600 to replace 3 ball valves and about 2 feet of 1 inch pvc for a job that requires no more than 2 hours tops. I have seen price gouging, but this is next level greed. I am ashamed for this business. read more

I was employed by 1800 plumber for 7 months I was terminated because I Booked a plumbing call @tsbe@state.us.gov and was told that a non licensed plumber would do the call because there was no equipment at the office for me to complete the call. I found out By Jonathan Clark that there was equipment at the shop to do the job. Needless to say another plumber told me that they sent the call to Josh Doran and Jonathan Clark and they do not have a plumbing license . I found this company to help me fix my garbage disposal . They were very prompt in arriving at my home with gloves , masks , & shoe covers . Two plumbers came and they worked side by side to quickly assess the issue and offer recommendations. Booked this company and they came out and did a great job unclogging my sink. I have a clogged AC line I called a AC company and I was told that I need a Plumber to unclog it so because 1800plumber did such a great job the first tim I called them back. They scheduled me for 6/15/20 from 12-2 I took off from work so I could be there. Here is why they only got 3 stars. The morning of my appt they called me and said that the technician couldnt make it and they tried to schedule me for the next day. I explain to her that I couldnt because I have to work and I ask could someone else come out, all I got was a I'm sorry. They inconvenienced me and I was not happy at all. Now I have to call around to see if I can find another company to come out today to unclog my AC line. They have lost a customer and I will not refer them to anyone. I have copied and pasted my Google review to this site also since my review is rather long. I am very busy and hardly ever take the time to do reviews but I felt compelled to do this one based on my first time experience with this company. I had a plumbing issue happen at 5 am that I thought was going to require a new water heater and was dreading having to find a plumbing company without much time to research several of them. I went on my neighborhood Nextdoor app. and saw some positive reviews so I went further and looked them up on Google and found some really good reviews there also. I called them at 8 am when they opened and was given an appointment between 2-4 pm, got a call just after 2 stating that Chad was on his way. I also received a text withing a minute after the call with a picture of Chad and a link to track his time and distance to my house. Chad and his assistant were very professional in every aspect and looked over my situation and answered all of my questions. I was fully expecting to be sold a water heater and probably would have approved it since I am not a plumbing expert but instead got an estimate for $291.00 before any repairs were made. I was told that the issue was a valve that was causing my all of problems and not the water heater. I was very surprised and happy with this news and so was my wallet. They did inspect my heater and told me that it is 15 years old and should be replaced soon based on they age and gave me some options but never any hard sell or pressure. I know many of these professions have a reputation of trying to really stick it to people but I can honestly say that this company did not and I will most definitely recommend them and use them for any plumbing needs in the future, including my new water heater. I had 1 800 Plummer (Pearland) to my house this morning. The guys did a quick and fabulous fix on my outside faucet. They did it in a short amount of time. They were courteous and pleasent. They also did cleanup of the cut out they had to do to fix the problem. Great work great time thus saving me labor costs. The over all price was less than I thought it was going to be. I have had two services performed by 1 800 Plumber of Pearland. The first was an installation of a shower water filter and most recently, I called them to address a leak under my kitchen sink. They were easy to contact and schedule with. In fact, they were willing to bump my appointment time up when they had an unexpected cancellation, which is always great when dealing with leaks and potential water damage. Their pricing was fair (according to my dad, whom I call to check in with on such matters) and their work was solid. Their technicians were polite and prompt and even took time out to explain to me how I can better maintain and extend the life on my new garbage disposal (the source of my kitchen leak). We found them on Yelp and were trying to support our local Pearland franchise. We made an appointment through their service today on a Saturday at 8:30am and they told us we would see them at 3pm. We had an outside leak and had to turn off all the water within the house. They called me at 1:45pm to abruptly tell me my appointment was cancelled and I could have Monday afternoon. I told them this was unacceptable since I made the appointment first thing in the morning and they were canceling just over an hour before the technician was supposed to be AT my house. I also told her that people making appointments on Saturdays were usually in emergency situations. She called me ten minutes later to say she was trying to work something out. I told her it was too late; I already made an 8am appointment with Select Choice Plumbers on Monday and we were going to stay with family. Mark, the manager, called to apologize and say he was going to train his phone service better and could try to work me in between 4pm-5pm. I thanked him for calling, his apology, but I will not pay you money after you have called me to cancel the appointment YOU made. You only get one chance to make a first impression and unfortunately this was a poor representation of their professionalism and customer service. read more

We have used this company for about 3 times already. Twice for a clogged sink and once for a leaking sprinkler in the garden. They are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I felt that they just charged me right for their service. Their scheduling person is also great, trying to squeeze our request always within the day. Today, we called because our water heater was not starting. At first they said they had a full schedule today but after a few minutes called us back and said they can come in the afternoon. When they came, the guy looked at our water heater, and restarted it in less than 3 minutes. It was a super easy fix, but unfortunately, my husband and I could not figure it out. So I thought he would still charge us a minimal fee just for the trouble of coming up to our house. To my amazement, he said not to worry about it! I was so happy because I really thought we were gonna spend a fortune to actually replace the water heater. Thank you for not ripping us off! This group of people is awesome! read more

I chose 1-800-Plumber because of the Yelp reviews - and they managed to exceed all my expectations. My lawn guy told me a pipe was leaking badly on the outside of my house and showed it to me. I didn't even know what the pipe was for. I called their office on Sunday afternoon, a pleasant and helpful person answered the phone, took my information, told me she would have to confirm with her boss that I was in their area and she would call me back. She called me back in less than hour, told me they could be there Monday between 2 and 4 pm and they would call before they came. Monday came and I got stuck in a meeting until a little after noon; I called them to see if I missed their call; she checked with the plumber, he said no, but would be at my house at 1 pm. He was at my house promptly at 1 pm. He was friendly, helpful and courteous; patient with all my questions (it turns out it was the main water supply to my house!); told me exactly what needed to be done, how long it would take and how much it was (which was extremely reasonable). He did the job neatly, explained and showed me everything he did and made me feel like I made a good decision in picking them. I can't recommend them highly enough (and wish to high heaven I knew about them when I was remodeling my bathroom). They are now in my contacts under "Plumbing" and will happily recommend them to my neighbors! read more
