    Buddha Bowl, add chicken.
    Lauren P.

I found The Station Public House on accident while hangrily driving around looking for a lunch spot. They had an open parking space right out front - perfect! The sunny and bright Friday after Thanksgiving brought families, friends, and couples of all ages. You can order drinks and food at the counters (inside or outside), and they'll bring your food to you. Due to the crowd, outdoor seating was limited, but we were able to find a picnic table outside in the sunshine. I ordered their Buddha Bowl and added chicken. The Thai slaw and the pickled veggies provided a nice crunch to each bite when paired with the black beans and ginger lime rice. The Thai peanut dressing brought the meal together. My husband got one of their daily specials - the Philly Cheesesteak, and upgraded to tots on the side. The tots were nice and crispy. We're looking forward to coming here more often, grabbing drinks, and trying more of their food offerings. They're very children & pet friendly, so you can bring the whole fam!

I love this place. The vibe is awesome, large patio area with both sunny and shaded seating and heat lamps. Staff is friendly, parking is pretty easy. Definitely go for the garlic fries!

Came to support my nephew who is a singer songwriter. He performed on the small outdoor stage to a full capacity crowd. The outdoor area is quite large. Can seat several hundred people. Lots of 6 person picnic tables and a few cafe tables and folding chairs for couples. The hometown vibe is happy and friendly. Lots of locals meeting up for their Friday night wind down. Lots of little kids running around. The beer selection is decent. From a couple of dozen different brews there is something for everyone. Food wise the menu has some composed salads in addition to the stock burgers and fries. I ate the Thai style chicken noodle salad. There was plenty of it on a big plate! Not gourmet quality, but tasty and belly filling. If you are an Auburn-ite you now this place. I you are a visitor from afar come here to peek into the life and times of this special town. You'll feel welcome.

This is our families favorite local spot, great food and friendly service. It is a great place to bring kids with open air seating and a welcoming ambiance. Highly recommend

Great outdoor space with tons of seating, so its a good spot to hang outside for a drink or bite. It's pretty nice so I was surprised it's an order at the counter style place, but everyone was friendly and someone will bring your food over. We got the Thai salad and Thai street tacos, but the Thai salad was wildly disappointing. The menu didn't state it comes with cilantro, which would have been nice to know as someone with a cilantro sensitivity. It was also quite a strange consistency - much closer to coleslaw than a salad. However, the tacos were actually pretty good. Overall if you're just going for a beer or American food it's a good spot, but I wouldn't venture beyond typical bar food.

Stopped in for a late lunch on Wednesday. Clean spacious outdoor seating, smaller seating area inside. We waited about 10 minutes to place our lunch order. It would be nice to have menus by the entrance - so you can decide before arriving at the cashier. We ordered beers, burger, salad, mussels and soup. Everything was delicious. We would come back to try order items on their menu.

After a long trip down the hill to search for an auto part, we stopped in at the Station House on our way back home, further up the hill. The Station House offers an amazing, well kept, manicured patio with a lot of seating and a nice atmosphere which is sheltered partially, from winds. The setting offers occasional live music, as was the case during our visit. Tables consist of picnic benches and stools with high tables. If you are visiting the Station House, you are likely doing it either for the patio, the 38 beers on tap, or both. The food I have had on my two visits was always very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The entrance to the restaurant is reminiscent of going to Sizzler....you stand in line, get a number, and they bring the food out to you. I have found this setup to be annoying....as it can be hard to figure out just what exactly, you want to order from the rotating menu, before you get to the front of the line and then you feel pressured to order because people are waiting in line behind you. A McDonald's ordering experience coupled together with obviously better and fancier food and the expected higher prices. I personally find the vast beer selection to be a little bit gimmicky....it would be just fine to have less options for the beer but have them be a nice rotating curated selection. On this visit I ordered a Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, with amazing and "correct" bread and wonderful ham. Would definitely order it again. But by far one of the top features of this establishment is......the bathroom. The unisex bathroom area offers private, vault like stalls where you can partake in your business without any distractions or interruptions. If you are on a road trip, I would recommend choosing this restaurant based on the quality of the toilet experience alone. The toilets are clean, private, and its almost like you are at home. Bravo, Station House!

    In the heart of Auburn!

I discovered this eatery on a rainy Saturday coming back from a day spent in Grass Valley. They had a special marathon that was being hosted with hundreds of runners competing through the American River canyon and finishing in downtown Auburn. The gentlemen that took our order was considerate, helpfu and patient even though it was a very busy day. They served our food (which was a party of 6), in a timely manner. I had the Cheeseburger with tots and my wife had a chicken sandwich. One of our party orderd the giant pretzel with the cheese dip and it was amazing as I had to assimulate so many carbs. This is going to sound odd to some but I like a place that has clean bathrooms and as busy as this place was their bathrooms were clean. I will return again and I think if you are on the 80 on your way to Tahoe or Reno you need to stop at this place you will not be diappointed.

This is a wonderful restaurant located in Auburn, CA by many little shops and other restaurants too which makes it a prime location. The food is delicious and the service is great; nice friendly and personable servers. For the vegetarians, I recommend the tofu sandwich; so delicious and they also offer a variety of both non alcoholic drinks like ice tea and lemonade and alcoholic beverages too like their tap beers. The ambience is casual and the restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor seating and televisions too so you can watch sporting events while you eat. Love this place. Recommend.

Mmm... pasta heaven…read more.. After a fun day with my neighbor, we decided we wanted to get something good to eat... and when we are together, we like to go all out. Pasquale's has been at the top of my list for a long time. It's located in downtown Auburn surrounded by other good places to eat and shop. The parking lot is tiny, but there is plenty of street parking available. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. When we walked in (close to 3), we were in awe of how beautiful it is in here. It was not busy, and we weren't at helped away, but that's ok because we were able to admire how gorgeous it was all around us. You can't help but notice the big cheese wheel in their display case. When I think of my favorite kind of pasta, it involves a cheese wheel... There is a bar top with high top chairs just waiting for you. They offer draft beers, wine and a full bar... but we decided we wanted a booth today. Inside Pasquale's is a brick wall interior with wooden flooring, where booths and tables are set up. It was cozy and very inviting. We barely glanced at the menu and knew right away what we were going to order. Now, I normally do not order anything with alfredo from anywhere... but something told me not to pass it up this time. I ordered the Salmon Fettuccine Alfredo, and Mary ordered the Lobster Ravioli. We also wanted a couple of Expresso Martinis to start. I think we were both starving, so we also ordered garlic bread to come out first. First, the Expresso Martini's arrived. They were in in a stemless martini glasses. They feature the same iconic, V-shaped as traditional martini glasses. I loved the way they were garnished with 3 coffee beans on top. The taste was rich with bold flavors that had a crisp kick of vodka. If I ever have an Expresso Martini from anywhere else, it'll forever be compared to this one. 5/5 Our garlic bread arrived shortly after we started sipping on our Martinis. They had the perfect crunch. The warm butter builds up with every bite to let you know it's there. Not overwhelming, or dripping, but it was just right. The garlic flavor was great 5/5 Mary's Lobster Ravioli was beautiful... the Ravioli was made with striped pasta dough; it looked stunning. The sauce on my Salmon Fettuccine Alfredo was gleaming, and looked so smooth. The salmon looked perfectly seared, seasoned with s&p and garnished with a lemon. slice. We were ready to dig in. My first bite was the delicious noodles... a savory, velvety cream sauce. It was like fireworks were going off. The Alfredo sauce coated every noodle flawlessly. Then I tried the salmon by itself... mmmm! Crispy, flakey, and moist!!! Now together... The contrast between the tender, buttery salmon and the hearty ribbons of pasta creates a spectacular mouthfeel... and the rich, buttery flavor of the fish went perfectly with noodles! Together, it was like the grand finale of a fireworks show on crack in my mouth. 555/5 Mary and I exchanged bites of our dishes. The Lobster Ravioli she ordered was delicious.. also garnished with a lemon slice. It was exactly how I felt like Lobster Ravioli should taste. This was a perfectly balanced dish as well, because it can be so easy to want to pack on the lobster to make a good dish, but then that's how you lose the rest of the flavor of the alfredo sauce and the tender taste of the pasta... but Pasquale's nailed that perfect flavor with the perfect amount of ingredients, getting us to crave the next bite. 555/5 After reading up on the history of Pasquale's, I found out it is owned and operated by Laura McGuire along with her daughter, Sophia. Laura was a former employee at the original Pasquale T's, which was a beloved Auburn staple in the 1980s and 90s. She brought the restaurant back to life in 2023, keeping it a true family-run establishment. If you're craving a rich and comforting meal, the Fettuccine Salmon Alfredo Pasta is my go to... it is one of my ultimate indulgences. Whether you're coming in for lunch or enjoying a romantic date night, Pasquale's Italian Ristorante feels like five-star luxury. It's hearty, comforting, and guaranteed to leave you completely satisfied!

This tasting room is looking to provide high quality service that people would expect from more established wineries and they are doing it right. They charge $3 dollars for bread service, which literally is a piece of bread about 4 inches long cut into tiny slices. We need several of those and then proceeded to order a variety of food. The service was inconsistent. Our server didn't check on us very often but the server taken care of water refills was doing a good job. When our food came, I think we all felt that flavor-wise it was pretty good. My husband ordered one of the specials, which was a Mandarin chicken with ginger rice. When the server took our order and he said that he'd have the chicken, she did not confirm whether it was the special or what was apparently their regular roast chicken so she brought in the regular chicken. When we brought this to her attention, she said "oh well note for next time". For the cost of the meal we were having that really should've been handled with a simple. "I'm so sorry I misunderstood. Let me go and get the rice for you," but she didn't do that. Very disappointing. One of the people in our party had a steak that she barely ate any of it. She didn't like the sauces that were with it. I had the rabbit with noodles, which was tasty. All in our group which of the experience about 80 out of 100.
