Food~We started with an appetizer Avocado Fingers (actually wedges) they were really good (w/a very yummy sauce). Menu has a lot of excellent choices (it was hard to decide). I got the Pork & Pineapple (comes w/ bacon and basil) (I substituted my bacon for fresh sliced tomatoes). It looked good enough to eat (but, I definitely didn't taste as good and, I wouldn't get it again and, the topping slid right off)! The way it was described verses the way it was prepared I give it a 0/5 (I thought if it set for a minute it would get better forgot the basil so it was thrown on after it was cooked)! The Beef Stroganoff was delicious and the chose of noodles really brought the dish together. Chicken Avocado Swiss (it should have been a veggie burger (literally) the chicken was so thin and, it was way too much bread. Their drinks were really good as well. Service~First Timers~I wanted to view photos and reviews but, my husband wanted to really try it anyways (but, for some reason they block your WiFi allow you to connect to theirs and, it still didn't work). Our waitress was very nice, attentive, and, helpful with recommendations. I should've created my own pizza but, I like to try it the way it's presented if It's my first time trying an establishment. I had a great first visit to this local establishment! Even though I went in with modest expectations, the service was outstanding, the food was excellent and the environment was very welcoming. I ordered the barbacoa tacos and they were delicious! Substantial portions and came with a tasty rice on the side. I also had a beer on tap and was impressed by the diverse list of options. The best part of the experience was the service from Kennedy as a quality member of the Ridge team. Kennedy was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit! At one point, Kennedy offered our party an extra pour of spirits that was accidentally made by the bar staff. Happy hour with teacher coworkers. The sliders are my favorite item they offer with a nice green salad and maybe some fries for a treat. They have an extensive menu with great options and their happy hour is wonderful. Thank you to Josh for setting up an area for my coworkers and I and being flexible when one of them brought a child and we had to move to the dining area. We had a very positive experience. I visit The Ridge often because it's conveniently close to where I live, and I genuinely enjoy the food, the service, and the overall ambiance. That said, there's one recurring issue that's hard to overlook: more often than not, I end up asking my server to replace my wine glass because it arrives dirty. This has happened on four out of my last five visits. I mention this because I truly like this place and want to see it be the best it can be. This was my first visit to The Ridge Grill. We went over after a movie and were in time for Happy Hour. Our server was not friendly , gave the vibe of someone being called in on their day off. My friend commented on it too. Then our food arrived. My friend ordered a personal pizza that looked undercooked (the cheese was not fully melted and no browning on the surface at all). I order the sliders which arrived with a greasy look on the surface of the buns. The bun was about 3" in diameter but the hamburger was 1/4" thick and about an inch and half big. And then they had 7 slices of dill pickles on it. There were more pickles than meat. And then the cheese was not melted but sat like a butter pat on the sad little burger. You will find this hidden gem within the Progress Ridge Town-center in Beaverton. It's a very chill Bar/ Restaurant within a neighborhood off of Barrows road. The menu is ample, it runs through happy hour favorites, well worth a stop for the happy hour, steaks, seafood, burgers, Italian. We stopped by for dinner. We order the Chicken Parmigiana & Cheeseburger. The Chicken was huge and had good flavor, served with plenty of thin spaghetti, very good. The burger was solid with all of the fixings, fries were very good with a lite batter. We were both impressed with the serving size. Price was fair for the amount of food you are served. The staff was very festive and mostly friendly. I would say even when you're not directly interacting with a customer it's also nice to be friendly or at least greet folks as they wait to be seated. Love this place for happy hour (3-6pm, 8pm-closing, seating by bar or outdoor seating only)! We've been many times and have tried lots from their happy hour menu. Funny thing is I've never actually tried their regular menu items and would be curious to try their entrees for lunch or dinner. The mini wood fired pizza is my favorite to get from the happy hour menu since you can choose up to 3 toppings. Their cocktails are also really good too! The vibe was very lively and all the hosts had sweet smiles. My son devoured the cheese wood fire pizza. A little bummed the strawberry lemonade wasn't freshly made and tasted like the powder strawberry lemonade. I ordered the crispy rosemary chicken, I am not a very picky eater butttttttt the chicken wasn't crispy (more soggy than anything), idk if it was the bread crumbs it was made with but my chicken tasted fishy. First off I want to say this place during the summer is beautiful. Right by the water and the vibes are perfect and I've been a few times and never had a bad experience with the staff. Always friendly and helpful and the place is always clean. I will say when it comes to the food and I've had a few things now on their menu it's... ok. It's not terrible by any means but it's just ok. I ordered the Reuben this time and the pastrami was a bit rough and the sauerkraut was kinda dried up. A decent place to come for a meal. They offer a good selection of food. They have some good wood fired pizzas as well as other items. The pizza is decent, and their Mac and cheese were good. I liked the gooeyness of the cheese. The Buffalo sauce gave it some extra flavors. The Pesto Primavera was also good (could use a little more pesto, in my opinion). We've eaten at The Ridge Grill a few times and found the menu to be awesome with something for everyone. Their wine list is short but has lots of local labels, as is the rotating list of local drafts. This is a "pub" afterall. I've enjoyed The Club sandwich ($19): grilled sourdough with turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar and Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and garlic aioli. A mighty large portion served with crispy pub fries. I always judge a restaurant's worthiness by its rendition of The Club and even though The Ridge doesn't include the third bread layer (let's face it, hardly anyone does these days) I'd definitely order it again. I've also gone head over heels for the classic Smoked Chicken Salad ($21): spring mix tossed with a house citrus vinaigrette, topped with pecans, sliced pears, blue cheese crumbles and smoked pulled chicken. Their Cobb Salad is my second favorite ($22). This visit we tried one of the wood-fired pizzas called "Josh's Original Combo." The ingredients were stellar: Canadian bacon, large rounds of thinly sliced pepperoni, roasted garlic, mushrooms, black olives, and red onions but almost as an after thought, there were a few bits of canned pineapple thrown on top. The pizza sauce base was very good too but $30 for a 14" pizza seems a tad high. And for a wood-fired pizza, there weren't any charred bits or "bubbles" in the crust that usually come with fast cooking and high temperature. The crust just wasn't as crispy as I had hoped. Needless to say, we were a bit underwhelmed. Customer service has always been stellar and even waitstaff who aren't tending to you stop and say "hello, how are you doing?" The restaurant itself is welcoming with an intimate feel. It's a very busy place on weekends so expect a little bit of a wait. Happy Hour, 3- 6 pm and 8pm to close on the patio looks like the next thing we'll try. They have a fireplace and space heaters to keep you comfortable during any weather. Just be aware that there's a minimum $3.75 drink purchase required for all Happy Hour food purchases. All said, The Ridge Grill is worth a try. read more

But the nectarine mule was overly sweet, the Ruben just okay, and the French dip's onions were almost crunchy raw, and it was served on what tasted like a Safeway soft roll that dissolved in the au jus. My table got basically ignored. 20 minutes just to get acknowledged by our server. So we have been here a couple times over the last few years. We have always had great food and service. We were recently there for cocktails with my sister who was visiting for my birthday. Our bartender was Ryan, and he was amazing! My sister was picky about her drink. Even I wanted to smack her. . But Ryan did everything to make it better. And he succeeded. We didn't have any food this trip, but I have always enjoyed their pizza and the pulled chicken sandwich. The tostadas are amazing as well. Never had a bad experience here. I just wanted to make sure Ryan got his credit for being an outstanding bartender and that the restaurant gets kudos for the food, service, and drinks. I see some bad reviews on here, and honestly I think they are wrong. A lot of these complaints are things out of some people's control. And things that only super complainers like to comment about. Been x2 now, once for lunch on the weekend and second for dinner. It is a great atmosphere to get together but both times the food was acceptable but was hoping for great is all. The wait staff is fantastic and the wait for anything is super fast. Be aware if you choose to go on a hot evening there will be a ton of parents sitting in the outside seating as their children come and go to the local water fountain to play in the water. At one point I felt like I was at a swim center vs a restaurant, I am a parent and probably would have done the same thing but that was 20 years ago so not really the vibe I was looking for after a tough week of work on a Friday night. It's a no for me. The space is great with tall ceilings and big windows and great location. Staff was nice and mostly attentive. But the food is incredibly meh. There aren't really any good vegetarian options other than salad and carb-heavy pasta. (I'm not veg, but wasn't interested in trying their meat dishes) I settled for the "creamy" pesto pasta thinking that I would at least get a little protein from the nuts in the pesto and the feta cheese. But the dish reminded me of pasta I made in college when I was broke and stretching ingredients. A big plate of noodles with watered down pesto -- like if La Croix made pesto. Seemed like maybe a teaspoon of pesto mixed with pasta water and maybe a tablespoon of feta. Had an off acidic flavor and didn't taste like pesto. I didn't feel good after the meal and had a stomach ache day after. Also, both water glasses had a weird acidic taste that I assume was from the glass sanitizer.
