Just stopped here on our way back from the Grand Canyon. This place is a wonderful and unexpected pleasure. The staff really are above and beyond. Everyone we interacted with was very kind, attentive and accommodating. The food alone is good (better than expected) but not excellent. What gives this place 5 stars is the welcoming environment, great service and location (it's pet friendly too !!) . We will definitely be coming back on every road trip we have going through needles. My only complaint (moreso recommendation) would be to offer a veggie patty and provide styrofoam free Togo containers. Overall we would 100% recommend the cafe and look forward to coming back. read more

Great staff and wonderful food. Sitting outside was a real treat and the Colorado river was really flowing by so fast that the poor ducks could make no progress and a out board boat did not need to even start and engine to go zooming by. For February it was one great day to enjoy the sunshine in winter on the Nevada side of the Colorado river. read more

We seen one of the girls after work, ask her how it was, she said that we should try it. So guess what, we did. We shared a double cheeseburger, got a salad with bluecheese, and poppers. And I broke down and had an adult beverage. Beer was draft and was very cold. Salad was good, had spinach and croutons, which I like. Poppers were very good, and I had some poppers with my ranch dressing. We differ on the burger, wife didn't like it, but to me the meat tasted like Salisbury steak, which took me to my childhood, and I really liked. Traveling through with a group of 9 on our way to hike the Grand Canyon. Yelp led us to The River Front Cafe. The owner Cindy took great care of us. She is so sweet and personable. The food was fresh and tasty. Lots of great choices on the menu. I had a salad with fried chicken breast. Greens were crispy fresh and chicken had a light but super crispy coating. One of my group ordered the Bloody Mary and said it was the best she'd ever had. Wish we'd had time for caramel apple blossom and pineapple upside down! The place is right on the Colorado River. The views are awesome. The menu is pretty simple. Burgers, sandwiches and pizza. The owner Cindy is around you to help with anything. She will have a good conversation with you, it makes you feel like a regular. The special on Thursday was fried chicken. It had a super crispy honey batter. Served very hot! The portion was great. I tried a chicken teriyaki sandwich. Chunks of chickie, fried pineapple and onion on a toasted hoodie roll. This is messy, but worth it. A word of caution, Cindy makes a mean Long Island ice tea! This place is hit and miss every time I come. I live about ten minutes away and haven't been back in about a year or so. Sometimes the pizza is good, sometimes the service is good; most of the time, the food and drinks are way overpriced for what you get and the service is very slow, and the waitresses just seem like they don't wanna be there and wish they didn't have to do their jobs. The owner is a hoot. We were on our way to Flagstaff from Redding, CA, and were ready for lunch! We went to the River Front based on Yelp reviews, and found them to be positive and accurate. It was lunchtime on a Saturday in July, and it was very busy. We were served by the owner, and she busted her tail. Without her efforts we would have been there forever, but she crushed it, and we enjoyed our food (we couldn't finish it), our beer, and hit the road. We had fun watching the myriad watercraft weaving around the Colorado River outside on that 114 degree day. read more

NEVER GOING BACK!! Honestly the rudest bartender I've ever met. Me and my friends tried to get a drink and the bartender lady said they were closed at 10 on a Saturday. What bar closes at 10 on a Saturday?! We were bummed. Later on that night we were walking around at about 12:30 and took a look inside and saw the bartender still serving drinks to a couple older customers.Stupid bitch just wanted to give her friends drinks and not dirty any more glasses. On our way to Albuquerque we were able to find this great place to eat! Very friendly service and a gorgeous view of the river. I had the Route 66 burger and it did not disappoint. The Chiles were delicious! My wife had a salad and garlic cheesy bread. Delicious! The little one had the pizza bread and I had to try it to write the review and I was very happy. We went to the River Front Cafe last night for dinner. I have to tell you that this is definitely a new find for us. We are new to the area and are always looking for a good restaurant. Well we found it! We started with chicken wings and fried pickles, both were very good....but the wings...they were just outstanding! We had the special which was a chicken fried steak sandwich, which was also really good. The table next to us were having the lasagna (starved on Thursday) and they could not say enough about how wonderful it tasted. The atmosphere being right on the river makes you want to just sit there and take your time. The staff and owner make you feel welcome. There are obviously many regulars that they tease and take care of, but they are just as attentive to those of us who have wandered in for the first time. We will definitely be back..the only question will be what food item we want to try next. Oh....I almost forgot, we ended our visit by sharing the brownie sunday....it was huge and delicious... how could I have almost forgotten that? read more

In a trailer park/RV resort down by the river lies a hidden gem. We discovered this place through, you guessed it: Yelp. With 4 and a half stars, a drive en route to Laughlin and hunger striking us, we decided to give it a go. I'm so glad we did and I hope my 5 stars gives this place the 5 stars it deserves. The drinks are the worst ever. When I asked about the weak drinks they told me they pour a 2 count pour or measure a 1.25 ounce shot. Basically the drinks taste like water. When I asked them to pour a bit heavier the gave me doubles at 14.00 each that still barely tasted like a drink. They never asked if I wanted a double and just slapped them on my bill. Food was mediocre however the staff was nice while I was taken advantage of. It is unfortunate that is was so bad as I have a second home here and come all the time with many friends and hoped I would find a good watering hole for my visits. They lost me for sure. read more
