I really do love this place but lately with my orders have been a little messed up. Got some wings to go and asked for blue cheese and the blue cheese was forgotten. And the time before that when I ate at the bar for bartender forgot to put my order in which is OK. I ordered California. Chicken wrap was very disappointed. I forgot the avocados. The chicken was dry and did not taste like a ranch dressing. Then a few weeks prior to that I got chicken wings to go, and they were very undercooked. OK, no problem when I got home I cooked them more. I never seem to have these problems before so I'm hoping this review helps. read more

Ya know when life just works out for the good? This was one of those times! My husband and I tried 2 restaurants before coming here and both were closed. Now I know why. What a great spot! The bartender was so friendly and attentive. The food was great. It was a little chilly inside but other than that everything was excellent! Food is great, good portions served fairly fast. Very consistent as I've been there several times and never disappointed.

I was immediately curious to see how a dark "town bar"-looking place with giant Coors Light signs could get so many good reviews. Firstly, the first three people in the Pub, none were drinking beer. We had men drinking a pink zin, a merlot and a lass with a vodka seltzer. The two women at the end of the bar looked Chardonnay. Surreal. Anyhow, I ordered a Flower Power ipa (yum) and got the Thanksgiving wrap with the sweet potato fries and maple mayo(!!!)). The turkey was chunks of delicious meat and not deli slices. Lightly grilled it was amazing. The sliders with honey bbq looked well coated, and were good with the bleu cheese. Easily one of my favorite small pubs in the Hudson Valley. Don't really get a chance to get out to Cornwall for drinks being that I live in Newburgh but this is only reason I would go in. There are plenty of bars in the area sling decent drinks but there's only a handful of pubs in the area that make a good drink and have good quality food as well. The food specials run from Monday through Sunday and there is a very handy happy hour menu as well which runs from 5 to 7. The sampler platter is definitely a good start. I would offer up the medium hot wings which are just right. The service is definitely what takes this bar over the top. The bartenders definitely take care of you and the place is constantly being picked up of empty cups and bottles keeping it nice and clean. A clean bar is a happy bar and the owners and staff definitely keep it that way. read more

Gut instinct was to leave after waiting 10+ min for a server to greet us but we decided to stay. Should have listened to my gut.... 1. Environment was weird. Loud and cold. To finally get service, I went to the bar and asked how we order. 2. Ordered the house salad with bleu cheese dressing. Was asked if I wanted a side of balsamic vinegar with it (?). I said no. It arrived anyway. Had the consistency of runny peanut butter. Pretty weird. 3. Garlic parmesan wings were pretty bad. No. Make that "awful." Super greasy, overfried, small, lacking in meat, and floating in butter or something. 4. The potato skins had cheese that reminded me alot of Velveeta. 5. I'm a garbage gut and will eat practically anything. I left 5 of the 12 wings and a potato skin. The salad was good. 6. I was told by the bartender that I probably wasn't aware of it, but my bill didn't add up because credit card companies add a 4% service charge to your bill. She's right - I've never heard of that. The menu online looked good before hand. I was hungry and motivated to chow down. NOT what I had hoped for. Should have listened to my gut. read more

Came here with my boyfriend on our way to albany. The place was completely dead at 2:30 on a Thursday. We ordered the bobby wings- so delicious. My friend and I had lunch here for the first time. Even though we read that the the pub received mixed reviews, we still decided to try it. I was not impressed. However, the server was very friendly and helpful. The food was lacking. I had ordered the warm shrimp with goat cheese salad. There was no crumbled goat cheese in the salad plus there was a lot of wilted field greens and the roasted peppers were cut in tiny pieces that it was hard to find. The server felt bad and deducted a few dollars from my bill. My friend; however, loved her fish tacos. read more

We went here tonight after two positive experiences; and came away offended, annoyed & disappointed. We had a bartender this evening whom we haven't before; an older blonde woman with glasses. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea; which I have been drinking for many years; my husband a beer; and we ordered to go. When our to go order came out; we found out someone else's food was in our bag...& that they almost forgot a part of the order. However; wings are still to die for...my Long Island however, was not. It came to me practically clear; with a hint of yellow...almost like weak lemonade? I took a sip; and all I could taste was liquor and sour mix. So I asked for soda; which was clearly missing...our bartender put a squirt of maybe seltzer? On top as a float...brought it back. I tried...I just could not choke down the pure liquor taste. My full glass remained infront of me at the bar while she made arrogant conversation with other patrons, and ignored our credit card waiting to pay as she walked by it for about 15 mins. When she did stop, my husband asked to please take the drink off the bill as it was undrinkable...her response? "Do you even know what a Long Island is?" ...Well yes, would you like me to show YOU a photo? I explained the color was very off and it was too strong & she said "actually it's right...did you know it has 5 liquors and is supposedddd to be strong?" I ordered a drink I was craving & that I enjoy; wound up drinking water & catching an attitude. While every other staff member is so pleasant and accommodating, this woman was just off putting and unpleasant, and made our visit uncomfortable. This pub is quite small and out of the way, however if you want a good place to go drink and NOT see anyone you know, this is the place to go. The hard alcohol selection is fairly limited, you wont find ooober expensive choices but the selection will suit most people. I HIGHLY recommend their appetizer sampler and their wings with the garlic/hot sauce. read more

My wife and I stopped in to have some wings and drinks and check out another local place. Wings were very good,the beer was cold,and the drinks were stout. We waited for about 15 min for service as the place was very busy. The bartender was engaging and knew most of her regulars by name and provided great service to all. This place is fabulous. Everything I have ever had to eat here has been absolutely delicious. The wings are the best around! Every night they have some kind of a theme as far as their food goes. For example, one night is wing night, one night is Mexican night, etc. The bartenders are the best around. They are friendly and attentive. My favorite local pub in Orange County. Well known spot for wings and burgers. I think they have the best wings around no competition. Great customer service. I go to Rock Wall quite a bit, and keep going back because I like it there and it's close to my girlfriends place, but after today that might change. I waited 40+ minutes for 2 chicken sliders. First one was the size of a half dollar, and I ate it in one bite. I wish I hadn't because when I bit the second one it was raw inside. The one star is for the bartender who was great! She was hustling, and apologizing, and comped my stuff due to clear embarrassment. But if I get sick later, this review could get worse.... read more
